"Let's begin with the latest report," Otto announced, seated at the head of the conference room table. "All over the world, the number of Honkai Beasts has drastically decreased. In many regions, Honkai energy has dropped to just one-tenth of what it used to be, and no recent attacks have been reported."
"Oh! That sounds like great news, doesn't it?" Bronya chimed in cheerfully.
"Not exactly," Einstein replied sternly. "The mass disappearance of Honkai Beasts and Deadwalkers likely means the Honkai Will is gathering all its remaining strength, preparing for an all-out final battle."
"What?!" Kiana and the others blanched. If that was true, the scale of Honkai forces being amassed would be unimaginable.
"You're absolutely right," Otto nodded, "but that's not all. I've also detected something far more interesting in the Imaginary Space."
"What is it?" Himeko asked, her brows furrowed.
"Laws of the universe—Herrschers," Otto revealed with a smirk, ignoring the group's shock. "We're getting energy readings for all Herrschers from the First to the Thirteenth. But more importantly, there's one anomaly whose energy exceeds the combined total of the other thirteen. According to our data, this entity is most likely the Fourteenth Herrscher—the Herrscher of Finality."
"You're not entirely correct," a new voice interjected. The doors to the meeting room swung open, and Kevin stepped in. "According to records from the previous era, this version of the Herrscher of Finality far surpasses the one we faced—by at least tenfold."
Kevin's expression was grim. He had once confronted the Herrscher of Finality face to face and knew how terrifying it was. Even with victory, it had been nearly impossible to destroy it. But now… to hear that its power had increased tenfold—it left him feeling powerless.
"So you've arrived," Otto said without a hint of surprise. "All current Herrschers have reached their complete forms. That makes this a very tricky situation." Despite the serious words, Otto's face showed no signs of concern.
"Rimuru," Kevin turned to him, "do you think you have the strength to defeat it?"
"Relax," Rimuru said with quiet confidence. "If it's just that level, I'm not worried." The star within his body had grown from ten thousand meters in diameter to over a hundred thousand. A mere Herrscher of Finality was no longer a threat.
"Is that so?" Kevin met Rimuru's gaze, and finally exhaled with some relief. If they could bring down the Herrscher of Finality, then the rest of the Herrschers wouldn't be a problem. These warriors of humanity were not to be underestimated.
"Seems like Rimuru's pretty confident," Otto smiled. "Still, aside from Herrschers, there are countless Honkai Beasts and Deadwalkers gathering in one place. So, it's time we assemble our forces. The war is about to begin."
"Understood. Anti-Entropy will deploy every available unit," Walter declared.
"World Serpent will remain on standby," Kevin responded grimly.
"I'll alert my guild members," Rimuru added. "Anyone available will join us to strengthen our forces."
The meeting concluded. Everyone sprang into action.
In the depths of the Imaginary Space, fourteen Herrschers stood in formation.
Below them, hundreds of high-tier Honkai Beasts—Judgment-class, Emperor-class—roared deafeningly, shaking the air.
Beyond them stretched a nearly endless swarm of lesser Honkai Beasts and Deadwalkers, packed so densely they could blot out the sky.
With that many monsters, they could easily destroy the world many times over. At a certain threshold, sheer numbers created a terrifying power.
But unfortunately for them, their enemy this time… was far, far more terrifying than they could ever imagine.
In the deepest reaches of the Sea of Quanta, Kevin stood again beneath the ancient cherry blossom tree.
"Now, it's all coming to an end," he murmured after a long silence. "Humanity will win this time." Whether he said it for someone else or just for himself, only Kevin knew.
Anti-Entropy Headquarters
Swarms of robots were gathering. Titan mechs, suicide spiders, Iskanders, even the massive "Father" mech—Anti-Entropy was ready to unleash its full might.
"This is quite the operation," Tesla observed, watching the preparations from above.
"We must win this battle," Walter said calmly as he adjusted his glasses. "If we succeed, this war ends. And clearly, the Honkai is not invincible anymore."
"Why do you say that?" Tesla tilted her head, visibly confused.
"Because it's scared," Einstein stepped forward with a quiet voice.
"Ohhh, I get it now!" Tesla nodded as if everything suddenly made sense.
"Yes… it's afraid," Walter said, his eyes narrowing as he stared into the distance. Einstein, Tesla, Schrödinger, and Planck all stood silently beside him, sharing the same heavy resolve.
Destiny Headquarters
The Valkyrie forces were assembling at full strength. Though their numbers were only in the thousands, their power was not to be underestimated.
Rita Rossweisse and Durandal were busy organizing logistics and supplies.
"So, what do you think, Kallen?" Otto asked with pride. "Destiny has grown far stronger than before."
"It's truly impressive," Kallen admitted. "I must say, your leadership is quite admirable."
"Kallen, I made a new type of rice ball!" came Yae Sakura's voice.
"Coming~!" Kallen immediately ditched Otto and rushed over to her.
Otto stared in despair as Kallen nestled herself comfortably beside Yae Sakura. In that moment, he felt as if he had plummeted from heaven straight into hell.
Did you think I'd give up? No way, Kallen! I, Otto, will never give up!
…Let us have a moment of silence for Otto.
The final battle was about to begin.
