Chapter 111 - Chapter 111 : "Wandering Earth: A New Dawn Under the Artificial Sun"

Within a unified armada forged from the countless powers of human civilizations, the Colossus from Stellaris looms with its star-crushing superweapon; the Death Star from Star Wars wields its planet-killing superlaser; the Terran Battlecruiser from StarCraft showcases its devastating plasma-based Yamato Cannon; and the Warlord Titan from Warhammer 40K marches with a colossal Plasma Destructor. Alongside them, the UNSC Infinity from Halo unleashes its magnetically accelerated MAC Cannon, the Citadel Dreadnought from Mass Effect fires the neutron-melting Thanix Cannon, and the massive colony ships from the Gundam Universe rain destruction through turbolasers and Minovsky particle beams. These vessels were not built merely for interstellar warfare—they were constructed to possess enough power to destroy a sun.

On other colossal ships, the terrifying Nova Cannon stands ready—an enormous weapon designed to fire high-yield projectiles using gravitational field propulsion that accelerates shells to near-light speeds. Due to the immense space and recoil required, these cannons are mounted only on the largest capital ships of the Imperium Caelestis, supported by massive stabilization engines. The Nova Cannon can fire a variety of payloads, including ion warheads that ignite bursts of star-like energy and implosion bombs that generate localized gravitational collapse. For the mission of sun destruction, next-generation gravity shells are deployed—extremely rare and dangerous munitions that detonate micro black holes inside the target, ensuring total annihilation. Complementing this final strike force of humanity are Macro Lances, multi-class Rombo warheads, and silicon torpedoes, loaded into the ships of the Imperium Caelestis as the apex arsenal of mankind.

One week later

Aboard every warship, the crew scrambled to load ammunition.

"Move quickly! Move quickly!"

All types of weaponry on the fleet's battleships were fully primed and ready to fire. At the same time, Blue Star was organizing the evacuation of personnel in an orderly and controlled manner.

> "Humanity is powerless in the face of catastrophe. But with advanced technology and the spirit of unity, even the disasters we've always feared can be conquered."

"Your Majesty, all civilians have been relocated. Planetary shields and the Dyson system are fully activated."

"Order General Wallfield to begin the bombardment!"

Receiving the command, General Wallfield stood tall before the command console. Without hesitation, he pressed the large red button.

"Let's begin! Power up all weapons! Let the Emperor's light shine across the galaxy!"

"FIRE!!"

BOOM! BAM! BOOM! BAM! BOOM! BAM!

Hundreds of weapons from countless warships roared to life. Plasma torpedoes, orbital railguns, and macro cannons painted the void with radiant firepower.

"Divert all power to the main batteries! Keep firing! No one stops until I say so!"

As the old saying goes: Even bricks can fly if thrown hard enough. Under the sheer might of the combined firepower, even planets would kneel.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!...

All kinds of macro cannons launched their massive projectiles, which exploded across the surface of the sun. Countless spears of light rained down, striking again and again. Planet-destroying weapons with high-yield explosive cores followed, detonating with unmatched force.

Despite its immense size and searing heat, the sun now faced an onslaught from countless different fleets—each one unleashing overwhelming firepower. Every shot struck the same targeted point on the star's surface.

"Concentrate fire on the core! Dim the flame!"

General Wallfield continued to direct the armada. At this moment, the sunlight began to lose its brilliance, and the core of the sun gradually dimmed.

"Activate the planetary defense shield and the Dyson system! Everyone, stay in your homes!"

Countless people remained indoors, gazing up at the sky as the sun slowly dimmed. Many would remember this as a historic moment — the last time they saw the original sun before it was replaced with an artificial one.

"Fire! Don't stop! Keep firing!"

Macro cannons, light spears, plasma turrets, torpedoes, turbine towers, and other devastating weapons were unleashed in unison. For a fleeting moment, the dark galaxy was lit by the furious salvo from the mighty fleet of the Imperium Caelestis.

"Emperor, please... help humanity survive this catastrophe!"

In many religions, deities are portrayed in human forms — sometimes even as emperors. For some, even Jesus is referred to as the emperor of mankind.

"Damn it... the sun is truly extinguished."

A few researchers sipped their tea, cracking jokes while watching the warships looming in the sky and the once-mighty sun flaring its final breath.

"Emperor, the solar core has gone dark."

Kenthelion, glared at the rookie researchers, his veins visibly twitching. He swore that if he ever returned to Terra Aeterna, he'd send them straight to the Imperial Elite Research Division — so they could finally feel real adrenaline during live experiments.

Gazing at the sun that had now lost its glow, Kenthelion knew the moment had come.

"Initiate the artificial sun exchange protocol."

"Boom!"

A brilliant burst of light engulfed the fading core of the old sun. Slowly, a new artificial core emerged from the system.

System: "Host, the artificial sun has been successfully deployed. It possesses all the functions of the original star."

As the sun dimmed and finally vanished, a new artificial star ignited, once again casting its light upon humanity. For the first time in decades, people saw hope. Once filled with despair, they now found salvation through the Imperium Caelestis. They would devote their lives to this empire that had saved them.

"The Emperor has saved you! Praise the Emperor! Give thanks to the Emperor!"

At that moment, across the Blue Star, every human looked to the heavens — to the rising artificial sun — and cried out in joy.

The artificial sun now fully appeared within the visible sky. Identical to the original in appearance, there was only one key difference: this sun could be controlled.

"Well then, the Wandering Earth problem has been resolved."

Kenthelion watched the activated artificial sun and said flatly:

"Now, I expect you to keep your promises. Otherwise, the next salvo won't be aimed at the sun... it will be aimed at the Blue Star."

His voice was cold, threatening. A chill ran down the spines of every national representative. Who would dare break their promise after witnessing a fleet of warships destroy their sun? Anyone who refused had probably already smashed their head against a wall in disbelief.

"Do not worry, Emperor. We will follow your instructions precisely."

"On your planet, we will begin selecting soldiers to form the Astra Militarum. The most elite among them will be sent across our divisions for advanced training. The process will take five to seven years to fully adapt to our technology. The rest will be reorganized into Planetary Defense Forces (PDF)."

"There will be no more barriers between nations on your planet. Our personnel will oversee the construction of centralized training facilities."

"In addition, some civilians will be relocated to other planets to build new colonies under our guidance."

"To govern these territories and act as liaisons to the Imperium Caelestis, each world will be assigned a leader from among your national heads. You are free to govern as you see fit — but civilians must be protected, and population taxes must be paid when the time comes."

"Our staff will distribute the list of planets for you to manage. Representatives may negotiate among yourselves to decide which planets you will oversee."

"I intend to build a vast human population repository across this galaxy."
