Chapter 44 - Another Advanced Achievement

10:20 AM, Heisenberg Tower.

Heisenberg was drinking in the nightclub.

Across from him, Bullseye stood there, incessantly boasting.

"Boss, you've gone viral, seriously viral!

Unlike before, last night's video of you beating the Hulk was compiled by some big-shot and posted online!"

"Hmm…" Heisenberg nodded.

"Damn, that's the Hulk, the guy who's destroyed cities more than once and left the U.S. military powerless!"

"Yeah, yeah!" Heisenberg nodded again.

"We all know you're strong, but no one could've imagined just how strong. You actually took down the Hulk with just three punches…!" He clenched his fist and slammed it down: "You knocked him out!!!"

"Ha…" Heisenberg exhaled in cooperation.

"And you kicked him all the way to the moon, and the crater is still there!"

"Alright, enough with the boring stuff, let's talk business!"

Heisenberg finally interrupted Bullseye. After all, being flattered once or twice was fine, but too much of it quickly became awkward.

Bullseye wasn't upset at being interrupted. As a professional underling, he knew how to present himself in front of the boss.

When the boss was drinking alone and bored, he had to step up and flatter him to liven the mood.

But now, the boss wanted to talk business.

Bullseye instantly stood ramrod straight, looking like…

Well, he only managed to straighten up for a moment before clutching his lower back in pain, arching his upper body backward.

Couldn't help it—his backside…

Heisenberg couldn't bear to watch, so he waved his hand.

"Alright, go rest."

"No, boss, I still need to take those idiots to the streets to comfort the citizens of New York!"

"Hmph, less booze. You want the citizens to become alcoholics and start a daily gunfight?"

"Yes, boss. We're running low on alcohol anyway. This afternoon, I'll take my men to distribute car fuel for citizens fleeing New York, along with the toasters we've been manufacturing and selling!"

???

Heisenberg paused. Did Kingpin really sell toasters?

But as the boss, there was no need to be surprised by small details.

Heisenberg expressionlessly nodded and said,

"Do as you please, but don't let your wounds worsen. Go."

"Yes!"

Bullseye immediately left.

After he departed, Heisenberg pressed the service bell on the table.

Billy, the nightclub manager, hurried over.

"Boss!"

"Call Jessica, tell her to notify the Skrulls to meet me on the rooftop."

"Yes."

Billy quickly arranged it, and Heisenberg leisurely walked through the nightclub's backstage.

Glancing briefly at the dazzling bodies of the dancers, Heisenberg lay on a lounge chair, soaking up the sun while waiting.

As for Bruce Banner, he had been moved to the villa. Heisenberg didn't want another man around while enjoying the sun…

Soon, two Skrulls arrived on the rooftop.

As soon as they appeared, they bowed to Heisenberg from a distance in an incredibly elaborate manner.

They didn't even care if Heisenberg was looking at them.

When they reached Heisenberg's side, they stopped about ten meters away and didn't move closer.

Heisenberg looked up at them, and the male Skrull immediately bowed again.

"It's an honor to meet you, the great Lord Heisenberg."

As soon as the words were spoken, Heisenberg shuddered in disgust.

"Guys, no need to be so formal. We're all outsiders on Earth. Sit down."

Heisenberg gestured to the nearby lounge chair.

But the Skrulls didn't dare sit. They stood in place and respectfully said,

"No, no, we're not worthy to sit beside someone as great as you. I've seen countless powerful beings in the universe, but you are the most brilliant. Just standing here and looking at you, I already feel incredibly presumptuous."

"Hmph…"

Heisenberg smiled blandly.

Whether from his own experiences in the Origin Universe or the memories shared by the Kryptonian elders,

these valuable lessons taught him one truth:

Always treat flattery as farting. Otherwise, if someone jokes with you and you take it seriously, it gets awkward.

So he continued,

"If I say sit, then sit. Don't treat my words as a joke, Skrulls."

"Yes!"

The two quickly found a place to sit. As they sat, Heisenberg asked,

"Last night, I only made a verbal agreement with Ms. Iredia. So…"

Heisenberg raised his eyelids, slowly scrutinizing the Skrulls.

An invisible pressure built around them, making the Skrulls tense and take a deep breath.

As they panicked, Heisenberg continued,

"So, after you're saved, our agreement…?"

"Is fully valid, my lord!"

The male Skrull quickly replied. Though he seemed calm, his deepening facial wrinkles betrayed his inner turmoil.

"We Skrulls have long lost our nation and territory. We no longer see ourselves as noble like the Kree or Shi'ar Empires. To serve someone as powerful as you, comparable to the destruction titan Thanos, we Skrull refugees are immensely honored!"

As soon as the words were spoken, Heisenberg shook his head.

His rejection turned the Skrulls' faces even greener.

Though they were already green…

In that moment, the Skrulls even imagined Heisenberg massacring them.

But Heisenberg simply said,

"Not just that, my Skrull friends. I want Hill and Nick Fury!"

Heisenberg stood up, walked to the Skrulls, and patted the male Skrull's shoulder.

"Hand them over to me, and I'll fulfill our agreement by giving you a suitable planet at the right time. Don't you want that?"

"Of course we do!" The Skrulls nodded in unison.

"Good."

Heisenberg nodded.

"It's 10:40 AM Earth time. I expect to see them by 10:40 PM. Go!"

He dismissed the Skrulls, knowing they could contact their kin.

After they left, Heisenberg returned to the villa and casually opened Bruce Banner's room.

The bastard was still unconscious—or asleep?

Either way, Heisenberg didn't want another man in his house.

He instantly unleashed his heat vision, the scorching red light slamming into Banner's chest.

In mere moments, before Banner could even scream, he transformed into the Hulk.

"Roar!!!"

As always, the Hulk roared. As soon as he woke, he was eager to destroy something to vent his anger.

Unlike Banner, who never let him out, the Hulk remembered Heisenberg's beating!

But as he finished roaring, he looked up and saw Heisenberg standing before him…

In that moment, the Hulk lost his love for the outside world.

Once, when Banner tried to keep the Hulk locked inside, the Hulk desperately wanted to come out and see the world.

Every time Banner lost control, it was the Hulk's happiest time!

The Hulk, a big kid, was simple. Whether attacked or hated,

he just wanted to come out, walk around, feel the world up close, and play "climb high" on skyscrapers.

But today, at this very moment…

The Hulk instantly stopped roaring. He even slumped his shoulders,

hands dangling, staring blankly at Heisenberg.

Maybe it was an illusion, but Heisenberg felt the Hulk's blank gaze was filled with images of him being beaten…

But the Hulk was still the Hulk. After a brief moment of confusion and fear, he chose to attack Heisenberg.

One failure couldn't break him. He was fearless!

Yes, the Hulk was fearless.

Even when he famously "shrunk" in Avengers: Infinity War, refusing to come out of Banner,

it wasn't because he was scared of Thanos. He had grown a brain and was unhappy.

In the Hulk's eyes then, Banner treated him like a tool.

Banner usually restrained him, desperately keeping him from appearing.

But when Banner was in danger, the beating was left to the Hulk.

The Hulk was simple, not stupid. He wouldn't always obey Banner.

So, in Infinity War, the Hulk… shrunk.

In short, the Hulk, not yet bored, wouldn't let one defeat by Heisenberg stop him from coming out.

He roared and slammed his fist toward Heisenberg's head.

Thud!!!

A dull sound. Heisenberg blocked the Hulk's fist with his palm.

He also used his bio-stance to protect the rooftop floor, preventing them from crashing into the nightclub below.

"Haha, still got some spirit!"

Heisenberg laughed. He had fun again!

He grabbed the Hulk and shot straight into the sky!

The battle didn't take place on Earth but on Mars.

It lasted a full two and a half hours, even making Heisenberg miss lunch.

But he didn't mind. Compared to lunch, his sense of achievement was indescribable!

Heisenberg returned to his rooftop, using his foot to press Banner's chest as he roared,

"Hulk, huh?"

"Angry, huh?"

"Scared of Thanos, but not me, Heisenberg, huh?"

"Still dare to fight me, huh?"

As he spoke, Heisenberg slapped Banner's unconscious face.

"You were so brave before, why so cowardly now?"

Saying this, he lifted Banner's unconscious body, shaking it repeatedly.

"You need to get your act together!"

After shaking for a while, seeing no sign of the Hulk emerging, Heisenberg boredly let go.

Looking at Banner lying unconscious on the ground, Heisenberg satisfiedly took a sip of wine.

His second advanced achievement in the Marvel Universe—beating the Hulk into hiding—was complete!

He put down his glass, pressed the service bell, and when Billy arrived again, Heisenberg pointed to the naked Banner on the ground.

"This guy's temporarily useless. Take him to SHIELD. Just the thing to give New York's slightly recovering SHIELD some trouble!"
