PHOENIX'S POV
I crouch down on the floor as the pain in my shoulder becomes unbearable, Louise and Ethan rush over immediately after hearing my scream and I even see the previous rage in Sebastian's eyes getting replaced by concern and panic as he crouched next to me,
Are you alright?
He asked panic obvious is his tone, i continue grabbing my shoulder as I feel it dislocated again, no sounds come out of my mouth except the few groans of pain,
Ahh...
Ethan immediately pulls out his phone,
Should I call an ambulance?!
I slowly look up at him, pain still visible on my face,
N..no... don't... it'll go away on its own...
It wasn't a complete lie, that's how my shoulder got better in the first place, I never attended therapy of that sort before, I didn't have time as I immediately started work with Wilson after I got discharged from the army.
Ethan go and call the medic here!
Sebastian said frantically,
And Louise go and grab some ice packs from the fridge!
Louise nodded and immediately went off so did Ethan, Sebastian helps me up on the chair grabbing me by my waist,
Are you ok?? I'm sorry I should have known it would strain your shoulder..you told me about it before and it completely erased from my mind I'm so sorry!
I look at him at his panicked expression and his apology, strangely it didn't feel like those fake ones and actually sounded sincere. I slowly nodded while holding my shoulder with one arm,
I..it's ok...I know you didn't mean it...
He looks at me his expression still of concern,
I know but still– I was mad from the last director and I took it out on you...I'm–
He gets cut off as Louise rushed in with some ice packs and gently pressed it against my shoulder, the coolness of it sending shivers down my spine
Keep it in place till the medic arrives.
I nod slowly as Louise told me to stay still
Are you alright? Does it hurt too much?
Louise asks with a panicked expression
It's alright don't worry about it...I've dealt with worse.
I try to reassure him and it wasn't a lie, I have dealt with worse than this...much worse. Soon enough Ethan arrived with the medic and he starts his examination, I unbutton the first few buttons of my shirt and my shoulder is now visible, it's a little awkward as everyone is watching but I've showered with ten men at the same time back at base so it's nothing new, the awkward part was my gunshot wound on my shoulder which I'm guessing caught everyone's eye and I was right because Louise spoke up first,
Did you get shot...? If you don't mind me asking...
He asked hesitantly, I couldn't justify it any other way, I slowly nod. To be frank my whole body is messed up from dagger scars to gunshot scars to all sorts of stretch marks and bruises that never healed, it's one of the many outcomes of war that stick with a person for a long long time. My shoulder was no exception to this as it's also covered with scars and marks, after the doctor is done performing his treatment and leaves I fix my collar and while doing so my dog tag slipped out, before I could hide it again,
Is it a...?
Ethan asks with a cautious voice
Yeah...it's mine...
I reply and tuck it back into my shirt.
Go and rest
Sebastian finally spoke up, I nod and slowly start to head back UpTo my room when,
Oh and by the way you owe me gun lessons!
Ethan said from behind, I chuckle a little,
Sure buddy why not.
I head back to my room.
ETHANS POV
We all watch Liam leave back to his room,
I'm going to sleep.
Boss said as he puts down his own gun, I'm guessing he feels guilty.
Goodnight boss.
Me and Louise say together as boss also leaves and heads back to his own room.
I guess you know what time it is
I smirk a little and turn to Louise,
Let me guess, you're gonna go to the IT department and flirt with Carter?
I grin and wink
You really do know me pal!
I Pat his shoulder,

He rolls his eyes and I give a slight chuckle before heading out
