Lincoln was quick to answer the call that had blared into his phone.
"Hello, Sylus?"
[Sir, you can meet him. He's outside your building and has agreed to talk]
"Oh, that's good. Thank you."
He hung up on his right-hand man, quickly slipping his feet into his shoes. He hurried downstairs with the use of the elevator and made his way out to his gate where he found the man he was looking for.
Ezekial.
"Hello."
"Mr. Darkwood. Why do you want to see me," Ezekial asked.
"Please come inside first." Lincoln offered. "Anyone could see. I wouldn't like any misunderstanding."
Ezekial nodded, stepping inside. Lincoln offered to enter the manor, but he declined. "Mr. Darkwood, I'm only here to know what it could be you want from me. I'd like to take my leave if—"
"Evelyn Darkwood, please withdraw the hit on her," Lincoln interrupted, saying.
Ezekial paused, freezing. He seemed shocked, more than taken aback.
