I stayed focused.

I knew I had to do better. I knew the next few days would be crucial. I couldn't let go of the tension that kept pushing me forward.

That's why, even if Elena was trying moves on me, for this moment, I couldn't do anything to her. I needed my mind focused on the tournament. It was simply too important. I couldn't fail at any given time. I needed to continue on the same track where I obliterated everyone in my path.

I arrived back at the King's Castle, where Lady Seraphina had been waiting.

"You did pretty well today," she said coldly. However, from the look on her face, it was clear there was something else going through her mind—something that she wanted to discuss with me in private. It seemed she had also understood that today's performance wouldn't be enough.

We quickly excused ourselves from Aria and Elena as she brought me to the side, clearly worried as she kept looking over in my direction.

"Winning the tournament is going to be harder than I thought."
