Six months had passed since the climactic battle against All For One. The world was slowly healing, reassured by the Symbol of Peace's continued presence and the new, enigmatic force of the Yellow Flash. Minato remained unconcerned about the League of Villains; he knew their capture was a matter of "when," not "if," especially with their leader imprisoned. His days were filled with patrols, agency work, and quiet moments with Toga.
One afternoon, while performing a routine aerial patrol over the city, Minato received an urgent, encrypted message from Principal Nezu. It was short, to the point: an important meeting tomorrow morning. The tone indicated a shift in the delicate balance of their world.
The next day, Minato arrived at the designated, highly secure building. The meeting room was already buzzing with activity, filled with a diverse array of Pro Heroes, their faces grim. The air was thick with anticipation and the unspoken tension of a coming storm.
Nezu, ever the strategist, began the briefing without preamble. "Thank you all for attending on such short notice. We have confirmed the existence and the alarming scale of the Paranormal Liberation Front. This organization is a massive amalgamation of the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army, led by Tomura Shigaraki, and is far more dangerous than anything we've faced since the dawn of Quirks." His projection screen displayed a complex web of villain profiles and suspected activities. "Their numbers exceed one hundred thousand active members, with a terrifying array of Quirks."
He then laid out a detailed plan, displaying holographic maps and data. "Our intelligence indicates they possess two primary bases of operation, both heavily fortified and extremely dangerous. Our strategy is a simultaneous, coordinated assault on both: the Gunga Mountain Villa, confirmed as Shigaraki's current stronghold, and a hidden lab beneath Jaku General Hospital, operated by Dr. Garaki, which we believe is their primary Nomu breeding facility."
Nezu's gaze swept over the heroes, his usual cheerful demeanor replaced by a somber gravity. "Given the sheer numbers the PLF commands, and the highly specialized Quirks they possess, our current hero forces are stretched thin. Therefore, we will require the involvement of students with provisional licenses to assist in supporting roles." A large map of the proposed battle zones highlighted civilian areas.
A quiet ripple of unease spread through the room. Many heroes bristled at the thought of involving students in such a high-stakes, potentially lethal operation.
Minato stepped forward, his voice calm but firm, immediately drawing the room's attention. "Principal Nezu, with all due respect, there is no need for students to be involved in the direct assault." His eyes, usually so warm, hardened slightly, reflecting his unwavering conviction. "I will personally take care of the Gunga Mountain Villa. My objective will be to neutralize every single threat there, ensuring no villain escapes." He gestured towards the maps. "The students can be on standby, but their primary focus should be civilian protection and evacuation, should any stragglers or threats pose a risk to the populace outside the main battle zones. Their safety is paramount."
A few low-level heroes, perhaps feeling their pride pricked or genuinely concerned by what they perceived as youthful bravado, scoffed openly. "Now hold on, Yellow Flash," one muttered, a hero named 'Barrier Man' with a force field Quirk, adjusting his glasses nervously. "While we appreciate your efforts against the villain in Kamino Ward, that was a single, albeit powerful, villain. This is an army of over a hundred thousand! You shouldn't be so overconfident."
Another, a hero with a 'Sonic Scream' Quirk, chimed in, his voice gruff. "Yeah, don't think you can just waltz in there alone. This isn't a show-off session, kid. These are serious threats."
A third hero, 'Iron Fists' a brawny individual with a hardening Quirk, crossed his arms, skepticism etched on his face. "We're talking about hundreds, possibly thousands, of villains in that villa alone, some with powerful, even destructive, Quirks. Even All Might struggled against the numbers at Tartarus. Even you can't just 'take care' of an entire army without overwhelming support, no offense."
Minato's calm demeanor remained, but a subtle change came over the room. Without a word, he consciously released a fraction of his Chakra pressure, allowing it to emanate outwards. It wasn't an aggressive burst, nor was it malicious, but it was a pervasive, almost palpable pressure that spread throughout the room, touching every hero present. Suddenly, every Pro Hero felt a crushing weight, as if the very air had become impossibly dense. It pressed down on their shoulders, tightened in their chests, and made their Quirks feel heavy and sluggish within them, their very cores seemingly suppressed. The heroes who had just spoken out against him instantly broke out in cold sweats, their faces paling, their confident postures slumping under the unexpected, invisible force. Their own Quirks, no matter how powerful, felt utterly insignificant in the face of this raw, untamed presence.
Minato offered a small, disarming smile, the pressure instantly receding as quickly as it had appeared, leaving the heroes gasping for breath, their previous bravado entirely vanished. "I know my capabilities," he stated, his voice resonating with quiet power, each word carrying an undeniable weight. "If I say I will take care of them, then I will take care of them. My methods may be... unconventional, but they are effective. Rest assured, the Gunga Mountain Villa will be dealt with."
Nezu, who had remained impassive through the entire display, a knowing glint in his eyes that suggested he might have anticipated this demonstration, nodded. "Very well, Yellow Flash. Your exceptional abilities are indeed noted. However, for strategic contingency and to ensure complete containment, I will assign two highly capable Pro Heroes to accompany you to Gunga Mountain Villa. Their primary role will be to ensure no stragglers escape the perimeter and to assist with any unforeseen civilian presence or emergency evacuations within the surrounding area. Think of them as your eyes and ears on the periphery."
Minato gave a slight nod of acceptance. "Understood. That is acceptable."
Nezu then shifted his focus, his paw tapping on the holographic map, which now zoomed in on Jaku General Hospital. "Now, for the Jaku General Hospital raid. This operation demands precision, speed, and discretion. Our intelligence indicates Dr. Garaki's lab is deep underground, likely several sub-levels beneath the hospital. Our primary objectives are: secure Dr. Garaki, rescue any human experimentation victims, and neutralize the Nomu breeding program."
All Might, though still in his weaker form, stepped forward, his expression grave. "I will lead the main infiltration team. My role will be to breach the most fortified sections and create openings."
"Agreed," Nezu affirmed. "Your brute force will be invaluable for the initial breach. Supporting All Might will be Endeavor, for his overwhelming offensive capabilities and wide-area clearance, and Edgeshot, for his unparalleled infiltration and incapacitation skills."
Endeavor grunted. "Good. I'm tired of waiting on the sidelines."
"We believe there are multiple layers of defense," Detective Tsukauchi added, pointing to a schematic on the screen. "The hospital itself will likely have disguised PLF members acting as staff or patients. Below that, we anticipate a network of tunnels and reinforced labs. Our analysis suggests specialized Quirks will be needed at each stage."
"The initial breach will be handled by Ryukyu in her dragon form," Nezu continued, "allowing a swift descent into the suspected lab levels. Her immense size and strength will clear the path. Following her, Mirko will act as the vanguard, her speed and power ideal for navigating tight, complex corridors and dealing with close-quarters combat against Nomu. She's expected to be the spearhead of the direct assault on the lab itself."
Mirko grinned, cracking her knuckles. "Sounds like fun. Just point me to the rabbit hole."
"Behind them," Nezu elaborated, "will be Eraser Head to nullify any troublesome Quirks, Present Mic for crowd control and sonic disruption of enemy communications, and a team of police officers led by Detective Tsukauchi to secure prisoners and gather evidence."
Nezu continued. "Tiger and the Wild Wild Pussycats will act as a secondary, highly mobile search-and-rescue team within the lab, leveraging their tracking and terrain Quirks to locate any victims or valuable intelligence."
"What about security on the surface?" a hero asked. "If Nomu escape, or villains flood out of the hospital?"
"Excellent question," Nezu replied. "The perimeter will be secured by Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods. Mt. Lady's gigantification will create an impassable barrier around the hospital's ground zero, while Kamui Woods's binding Quirks will ensure no one slips through the gaps. Any escapees from below will be funneled directly into their containment zone."
He gestured to another part of the map. "Additionally, several police forces and tactical units will be deployed in civilian disguise throughout the surrounding blocks to manage the eventual public panic and cordon off the area discreetly, preventing leaks to the media until the operation is complete."
"Communications will be on a dedicated, encrypted channel," Tsukauchi stated, "and we will maintain radio silence until the initial breaches are confirmed. Each team leader will be equipped with specialized tracking devices to monitor their progress and location within the complex."
Nezu concluded, his voice grave. "This is it, heroes. The largest, most critical operation in modern hero history. Success is not just desired, it is absolutely paramount. The future of our society depends on it."
The heroes in the room, sobered by the detailed planning and the gravity of the situation, exchanged determined glances. The battle lines for a new, terrifying war were being drawn.
