I kept my voice steady as I delivered the final blow, watching tears stream down her face. The sight would have moved me once. Not anymore.
"But...why?" Lilith's mascara ran in black rivers down her flushed cheeks. Her naked body trembled, not from desire now, but from humiliation. "After all these years—"
"Years of what exactly?" Kaelen cut in, his tone ice cold. "Years of you throwing yourself at us while we used you to hurt someone who never deserved it?"
Lilith frantically wiped at her tears, smearing makeup across her face. "That's not true! I've always loved you three. All of you!"
"And we never loved you," Orion said bluntly, turning away from her. "Put your clothes on. Have some dignity."
Her shoulders hunched forward as she scrambled to retrieve her scattered clothing, her movements jerky and desperate. I almost felt sorry for her. Almost.
