As they returned to the table, Mel sat beside Lila while Rosana joined Selaria.
Rosana's gaze swept over the steak, her hand gracefully cutting it with a knife.
Munching the forked piece, she hummed. "Not bad. A little too heated at certain places, perhaps a little too much salt and pepper, but still passable."
The Third Princess scowled. "How many luxurious restaurants did you dine at to come to that conclusion?"
"More than you think." The Heiress lifted a wine glass filled with orange juice. "You should have a taste similar to mine, Princess."
Selaria rolled her eyes, cutting into her own steak. "I'm not as picky as you."
Watching their exchange, Mel fed a piece to Lila before smiling at the two. "Are you two old friends? You're getting along better than I expected."
