That night
Harley
The drinks wouldn't stop flowing and if Harley was being honest he didn't want them to stop, he was drowning in ecstasy.
The music was thumping, they'd moved from the bar to the dance floor on the third floor and the rhythm was intoxicating.
Arms were above his head, the first few buttons of his black shirt now lay open as he lost himself to the music.
They'd lost Tylor a while ago but Harley spotted him heading to the bathroom with a curvy red headed woman before his disappearance.
The last standing were Harley, Alex and Isabelle. However Isabelle was being eyed by what seemed to be an angel, the way god had formed him into pure excellence.
Eventually the music swayed her towards him and they were necking each other on the outskirts on the dance floor. Harley's buzz was wearing off, grabbing Alex he dragged her back to the bar to get a much needed refill.
Trying and failing to wave down the bartender Harley settled on staring at the crowd, leaning against the bar for support.
"Are you doing okay?" Alex said her dark eyes staring him down,
"I would be with another drink." he chuckled out.
"No I mean really Harley you've been off. And I talked to Derek and -"
"Jesus Alex right now, can't we just have fun!" Harley's yelling was swallowed by the bass but obviously got the attention of the bartender, as he somehow got further away from them.
"God I'm just worried."
"Be worried about getting me a drink ey." Harley curtly replied turning to face the bar again trying to signal him over with no luck.
"That's something I can help with."
Harley smelt the pinewood and whisky soaked in together before he saw him,
Harley felt his arm brush my shoulder before he saw him, as he raised it instantly getting the bar man's attention.
Harley saw his shadow envelop him before he saw him,
Harley heard his dark husky voice tickle his ear before he saw him.
Him.
Harley was afraid to turn around but the liquid courage had him basically twirling for the mystery man.
All of him, he towered over Harley's 6 foot frame with his pale skin that was perfect not an ounce too light. It didn't have that sickly look instead you could imagine him glistening under the moonlight.
Midnight black hair that reached his shoulders framing his face that flowed down perfectly, a strong angular jaw with upturned cheeks. Perfectly pink lips that Harley lingered on for far too long.
"What?" he had said something that Harley had missed entirely, too entranced by the way he stood. It was all starting to make his pants feel too tight.
"What would you like to drink tonight darling?" The realisation dawned on Harley that he might be gay,
'god please I've never asked for anything, just gift him to me tonight just once.'
His tone was firm but sultry, Harley could barely hear him speak the blood rushing south and the alcohol blurring his mind.
But the alcohol couldn't dull what he was seeing, the look in his eyes, they never left his own and they bore a hole through him.
They were dark, pitch black orbs but if you looked long enough, which Harley did. You could see tinges of red sparks, flames that were like the ones building inside Harley's stomach or was that his dick.
"Vodka." Harley breathed out like a whisper, well if we're being honest it was more than likely he panted it out.
"Vodka what Darling?" he smoothed a strand of hair behind Harley's ear, his knees almost buckled from the cool caress of the mystery mans long fingers.
"Vodka sho - "
"He's good." They were both snapped back to reality leaving the little section of the bar they'd had carved out for each other.
"Are you a guard dog?" a devilish smirk played on his lips and Harley felt dangerously close to grabbing him and smashing their faces together. . .
"No however I am his sister in law."
Shit
Harley's erection seemed to shrivel up, and in an instant he had never felt so sober in his life.
The mystery man look down towards Harley's hand the gold band seeming to now burn under his gaze, he hid his hand instinctively.
Both Alex and the mystery man saw him do it, their reactions worlds apart.
"Alex it's just a drink" Harley slurred finally leaving the mans gaze trying to wave her away.
"He's married and drunk I think you should go." She didn't look at Harley as she gave the man a stern reply grabbing Harley's shoulder shielding him from the man his body was screaming for.
The looked past her and found Harley's eyes once again,
"What's your name beautiful?".
'He thought I was beautiful! The compliment felt more meaningful than any I had every received before as I envisioned him growling it into my ear as he -'
"Harley let's go. Now."
'Alex please let me enjoy his presence a second longer', but the words wouldn't leave Harley.
Harley knew he was in the wrong, the way that man made him feel already felt like an affair let alone what he'd do. They'd do if left alone.
"Harley" the man seemed to sing out, pronouncing every syllable one by one.
His name felt so good in his mouth like honey being poured into Harley ear, but what scared him most is that it felt so familiar, so right.
Like it was inevitable, like Harley had met him before and this was a reunion more than anything else.
Eventually Alex's soft pulls became full on shoves and Harley stumbled slightly hitting the patron behind them, a drink spilling directly onto his shirt making it slightly translucent.
Looking down grabbing tissues from the bar counter Harley came to the horrifying conclusion that his nipples we're erect and the lustful stare they were getting from the perpetrator, resulted in what sounded like a growl from the mystery man.
'God I am drunk, how the fuck could he be growling.'
" Fine." Harley grumbled more petulant than he would've wanted but the alcohol was apparently still in his system.
"Great, finally." Alex wasted no time yanking Harley away from the man and Harley sensed no resistance on the mystery mans part.
Why did that hurt?
They didn't stop walking until they reached the ground floor where Alex basically pushed Harley out of the club and into the street.
The moonlight illuminated the empty street, the music from the club now a soft hum.
Sobering up some more the cold wind covering their skin in goosebumps, Harley wrapped his arms around himself turning back to the door leading to him.
The sweet and dirty fantasy began to plague his mind once again and it was letting boiling his blood all over again.
"What the fuck was that", Harley had forgotten he still had a major problem standing in front of him.
"It was me trying to get a free drink",
'god was I lying.'
"Right okay I'm going chalk this up to you being drunk, but I swear to god I know what you were doing and next time I'm telling Derek." Alex was furious and if it had been anyone else Harley would've agreed but tonight he wasn't having it.
"Oh yes I forgot why have Derek here when my former best friend now turned informant is present." he replied sharply.
"Don't give me shit right now, I'm this close to punching you in the jaw."
"Yes threats of violence that is why your ex husband has taken you to court for abuse." Harley knew he had went too far the moment it left his mouth, Alex's strong façade fell apart momentarily,
'why'd I always do this?'
"Fuck sorry, I'm drunk."
"Sure that's what we'll call this tonight, I'm getting you an uber." Turning away from him Harley could tell he'd hit a nerve and her trembling shoulders as she got out her phone and tapped at it made him feel like an complete ass. But his fucking pride left him glued in place.
The uber came and left, the soft seats cushioned Harley as he rode towards his home. Him and Alex didn't even exchange a glance as he slide in alone,
'was I that much of a ass?' Yes.'
But she didn't understand there was something about him, a light inside of Harley had been lit the moment he heard his voice, it had felt electric and irresistible. He wanted to ride this high as long as possible and he intended to.
Traffic was non-existent so Harley stumbled his way into their house after a short 15 minute ride. The key wouldn't go in but damn was he putting up a fight. Harley finally had gotten it inside the fucking hole when the door swung forward and he dropped with it.
"Morning.", well it technically was the morning at the early hour of 3am.
"Hey baby." Harley said looking up at him before stumbling back to his feet using the door as leverage.
He didn't reply instead walking back into the house silently,
oh fuck this was not good.
Harley followed trying to quickly explain his absence,
'did I seem guilty?'
They made it upstairs and back into their bedroom before Derek turned back to Harley,
"What is going on? One minute your depressed the next your getting drunk at 3 am like a 21 year old." God Harley hated when he whisper shouted.
"I'm trying to have fun okay? Plus I also want to have fun with you tonight." Harley said stepping closer to him, wrapping his arms around his neck, shirt half open showing erect pink nipples ready to be ravaged.
"Wait - no, your not going to sex your way out of this."
"Why not?" before he could reply Harley's lips were on his, tongues dancing but something happened that he did not expect. Harley felt nothing. No matter how much of an asshole he'd been of late he did love Derek that had never changed, but something felt different.
They continued to kiss until they were both out of breath and Harley could feel Derek's erection on his own flaccid one. An hour ago Harley couldn't keep it in his pants but now he was so bored, and before he knew it Harley's sole focus was the dust on the top of the dresser and how much it was irritating him.
Trying to reengage and will his buddy up again, a face flashed in his mind that had him as excited as ever.
Derek grabbed at Harley's junk and a small chuckle escaped his lips, feeling his hard member.
'His voice is deeper.'
Harley felt Derek grope his ass and lift his shirt over his head with the other arm,
'I miss his cool touch.'
Harley let Derek throw him onto the bed and his shadow seemed pale in comparison as he hung over Harley. Lowering his head to divert his attention to Harley's member, all Harley could envision as he gripped Derek's head and held him down was the mystery man's intoxicating smile.
