I'm currently midway through writing Volume Three, and as the story has evolved quite differently from the original canon, I've realized I need to take some time to pause and reflect.
Volume Two is fully written, with 27 chapters completed, but I won't be publishing more chapters for now. I'm considering resuming posting in about 15 to 30 days.
Why the pause? Well, after changing so much from the original canon starting in Volume Three, I feel like I've missed some important details, both from the original story and from this AU/fanfic timeline. I want to go back, reread everything carefully, and reconsider some events that may need reworking or exclusion to keep the narrative consistent and satisfying.
I admit I rushed some parts of Volume Two because I didn't like certain elements in the book and movie versions, which, to me, were the weakest in the whole franchise.
Some characters on this AU, like Colin Creevey, were underused, barely developed beyond being petrified. Lockhart only had a brief appearance, and Luna was introduced briefly (remember, she's actually a year younger than Harry).
The Ginny arc, in particular, feels like it needs reworking. Some scenes happened just because I thought they should, but on reflection, they feel flawed and could be improved.
Thanks for your patience and support. I want to make sure the story is the best it can be before moving forward, and I'm excited to refine these parts and bring everything together more smoothly.
