The rest of the day went by uneventfully for Tyler. Beside picking Devin up from school and making lunch for them both, he spent the whole day doing nothing but formulating step-by-step plans and how to execute them.
He had already made his plans to create 1,000 LLCs known to David and he had indirectly accepted it.
As for the condition that David gave him saying that he should make at minimum of $100,000 in 5 months before he can consider helping him, Tyler didn't fret about it.
VaultX will go live tomorrow and Tyler would set it so that it's maximum daily will be $10,000.
With this amount, it will take him a maximum of two weeks to meet the target. Ten days to be exact.
But Tyler didn't intend to let David know immediately when he hits the target. His plan was to fix his family's financial situation first with the initial profits, before proceeding with the LLCs.
A new house was definitely on his list. He had already checked the internet for the price of houses and he was satisfied with what he saw.
The housing market was still recovering from the 2008 crash, causing the prices for houses to be low.
Tyler saw $5 million can get him a good house in a good and safe location. And that was exactly what he wants.
Though he might want to get a huge estate but he knew that his mom won't accept him purchasing something grand, and extremely expensive. There's also the explanation that he might have to give afterwards.
Though the problem with buying the house was that if he intends to purchase it using the $10,000 daily profit, then it would take Tyler a year and half to achieve that.
This was one of the reasons why he he needs the LLCs. With just the trading accounts of one LLC, he can be making a daily profit of $500,000.
With just one LCC, he can get the $5 million in just ten days.
Another reason why he needs the LLCs was because of the cost to unlock a Primary knowledge branch and purchase the Specialised Knowledges under it.
From what he has seen with the [Financial Mathematics], all the Specialised Knowledges works in tandem with each other.
Though unlocking only a few Specialised Knowledges within a Primary knowledge branch was possible, it's strongly discouraged.
The reason for this was because the information flows are so interwoven that missing components could cause flawed logic chains or ineffective application, potentially putting Tyler at risk or rendering his efforts suboptimal.
Tyler realised this when he was creating VaultX, as he saw that he used a bit of everything from all the Specialised Knowledges when creating it.
It wasn't a conscious choice in his side to pull from all those areas, but the information simply flowed through him as if it were one single logic tree.
And now, due to the interdependency of the Specialised Knowledges, Tyler needs more than $400 million if he wants to purchase all the Specialised Knowledges under a Primary knowledge branch.
With the trading accounts of 1,000 LLCs and a minimum daily profit of $500,000, Tyler would seeing a total of $500 million.
But when has things ever been so easy? Even though Tyler would be making that amount in a day, he won't be able to withdraw half due to some legal issues and to avoid being flagged by the world's financial system.
Tyler would have to do a lot of structuring or he would find himself shackled, and his time being wasted because of some laws that favour only a certain group of people.
"There's no need overthinking it now. I will create the AI first and have cloak my activities. That way I can be moving any amount I want daily without worry," he muttered to himself, staring at the ceiling of his room.
He has been trying to fall asleep for over an half an hour now, but the sleep keeps eluding him.
His thoughts continued to wander and he remembered his mom's words when he asked her what happened when she went to his school today.
She told him that things went well and that the principal had apologised, and explained to her that his hands were tied.
Though she had said that, the flash of sadness in her eyes and the slight hesitation before she answered him told him everything he needed to know.
Remembering this, Tyler sighed and turned over on his bed. He just hopes that by morning tomorrow, the trading account will be ready and he can start trading.
Time passed and Tyler finally fell asleep. The next morning, he woke up, completed his morning, took Devin to school and completed his daily mission for the day.
He was at the dining table, having breakfast when his phone buzzed on the table.
He picked it up and saw that he got a message from David, telling him that the trading account had been activated and he could start trading.
Tyler's eyes widened when he saw this.
"Activated? Nice."
He quickly ate his food, did the dishes and rushed up to his room. He had already booted up his laptop and had already logged in since he woke up.
All he had been waiting for was the message from David, and now that he had received it, he could start.
...
Tyler closed the bedroom door behind him and hurried over to his desk, heart thudding with anticipation.
He tapped the trackpad and his laptop instantly lit up—IBKR's Trader Workstation terminal was already open and waiting.
"Let's begin," he muttered.
He navigated to the API section of the platform, where authorized software integrations could be set up.
The interface wasn't beginner-friendly—it never had been—but Tyler's fingers flew over the keys with precision. Every line of input, every configuration parameter came naturally to him.
After installing the IB Gateway and configuring the socket port, he launched VaultX in dev mode from his desktop, which opened a simple black command-line interface.
A flashing line of text greeted him:
{VaultX v1.0 Initialized}
{Awaiting authentication...}
Tyler entered the trading API key and OTP code David had received upon account creation. It took a few seconds, then—
{Authentication Successful}
{Live Trading Mode: STANDBY}
{Account Synced: YES}
{Balance: $10,000.00 USD}
A satisfied smile crept onto Tyler's face. Everything was in sync. VaultX had successfully linked with the IBKR terminal and was now receiving real-time market data.
He opened the trade section on VaultX's terminal to monitor trading metrics and analytics. All charts were flatlined—it hadn't placed a trade yet.
"VaultX," Tyler said aloud, more from habit than necessity, "you're live now. Let's un strategy VX-G01. Let's begin."
He hit Enter.
{Executing VX-G01}
{Analyzing Markets… Initial Scan Complete}
{Targets Identified – NASDAQ, Forex, Commodities}
{Orders Queued…}
Within seconds, small but calculated trades started appearing in the log.
• SELL EUR/USD @ 1.3699
• BUY USD/JPY @ 90.82
• SELL GBP/USD @ 1.5012
• BUY Gold (XAU/USD) @ 1,114.60
• SELL Silver (XAG/USD) @ 17.24
• BUY Crude Oil (WTI) @ 80.19
Everything was seamless. VaultX was live and already making silent moves.
Tyler leaned back, watching the console. He had built VaultX to be surgical and stealthy. It would never draw attention with sudden volume spikes. It would slice the market, accumulate quietly, and exit without a trace.
After about twenty minutes of watching its movements, Tyler checked the profit tracker.
{PnL: $982.46}
{Open Positions: 6}
A low hum of satisfaction left his throat.
"Not bad. You're just warming up."
From what he could see, VaultX was still observing, probing, and adjusting its internal parameters based on market volatility.
Tyler had coded it to remain conservative on the first trading day—never breach 20% risk until after 24 hours of real-world data sync.
"I will leave you to trade for the whole day and check in later," he smiled and stood up, leaving his room.
