I didn't expect goodbyes to be so hard, I know I shouldn't be gone for to long and that Ill be able to visit at any time but the knowlege that I will be back doesn't make it any easier. I say goodbye to mai first, after hearing that i'm leaving she wants to come to the sect with me and began cultivating and honestly? She probably could the cultivators already allowed me one student I see no reason why they wouldn't allow a second but I don't know if she actually has any talent for cultivation and besides I need her here, I want her and tasi to try teaching the other villagers dao while i'm gone as a part of their training. I expect to see at least 30 people floating in the air and drawing circles on the ground with their minds once I return. After explaining her "homework" i spend a few more hours teaching her applications of rotation circular motion it doesn't have any immediate effects on her abilities but the hope is that as she thinks on it more shell be able to apply her dao in new ways.
The rest of my time is spent bringing back a few boars and preparing about a weeks worth of BLOOD soup for miss moon(its good for the body). After finishing up my obligations I watch over rain to see how he handles his last day in the villa- Oh....well thats one way to use illusions. I didn't know he felt that way about miss muun and the farmers wife but I certainly do now. After that display of human ingenuity he has a heartfelt good bye with the other guards and miss tasi for some reason when did they get so close and then packs about a week's worth of supplies. When it was finally time to head out Rain and me said our final goodbyes while the female cultivator glared at us and with that we finally hit the road.

we finally stop on the side of the road after a day of traveling.
I don't think pyeong and hak actually need to rest they seem more or less exactly the same, Rain certainly does though it seems like whatever cultivations stage he's at still has normal bodily functions.
"hey whats in that metal case anyway?" hak finally broke it....well silence for hak and Pyeong anyway (I've been talking rains ear off about what heat is since this trip began, the sooner he gets that dao the sooner he can assist in forging).
"Its a spear, it became a little unwieldy after I named it so I keep it this lead case when i'm around people".
she looked at him confused examine the case ".....unwieldy how?"
I don't think its necessary to lie here ,but i doubt they have a concept of radiation yet and id rather not explain it,"It gives off a nonstop stream of poisonous energy when outside of the container now making it unsubtle unless i'm intent to kill,.... well poisonous to mortals I haven't actually tried it on a cultivators yet and spirit beast seem unaffected by it".
"oh?" a smug smile gracies her lips "what a coincidence then we just happen to have a cultivator you can try it on right here why don't we spar for a little bit?" Truth be told i'm tempted, I have no idea how spirit beast or myself stack up to cultivators and I want to find out where ill be on the pecking order if I actually end up joining their sect. I'm confident I can produce more energy then pretty much all of these guys but unlike them the amount of energy I can output and how strong I am don't correlate at all well unless i'm blowing myself up that is.

"HA! weren't you talking about how you were going to put me down if I didn't start talking instead of flexing my power back at that village chiefs house?" peyong interjects "where did all that confidence from earlier go?"
I shake my head "Her potentially being stronger then me isn't the source of my hesitation, the poison tends to linger and spread If I unsheathe this spear so close to the road it might effect anyone who travels on it for the next few weeks or months."
"Then lets go deeper into the plains! 6 miles should be enough, it'll be good to gauge how strong you our before we get to the sect anyway with how well you hide your cultivation its hard to tell."
"Actually now that cultivation is being brought up what realm are you in anyway?"
".....I'm not sure what it would be called using your cultivation system but I should be around golden core realm". Technically this is true, I should be somewhere above body formation, the problem is that the amount of physical power cultivators have after that varies so wildly that I have no idea where I stand. One golden core cultivator can blow holes through mountain's while another nascent soul realm cultivator might be able to stop his blows with a finger but struggle to destroy a large enough castle.
"good then I wont have to hold back to much" The girl starts dashing out and I follow, peyong doesn't follow up but his eyes track us the entire way watching.
Once we reach a safe distance away I take the metal case from my waste and set it down unsealing it.
the lid flys off into the air like a corkscrew blowing off of a well shaken bottle of Champaign a low fog of green mist seeps from the case blanketing the surrounding grasslands and killing everything it touches.
This isn't actually how radiation should behave, it shouldn't be visible as anything other then light (even at the highest levels) and it certainly shouldn't be presenting itself as mist. But whatever laws matter and radiation obeyed stop effecting the spear once I named it and i begain littlery sucking the power from me like I was an electrical socket, anything it does after that isnt a surprise. Scaning it the radation outside of its presentation behaves as expected, its radioactivity is only 150 Gy so while its enough to kill a pre ai era human like miss muun 15 times over the people here with their ki organs may actually have a decent chance of surviving for a while longer.
Ill be able to test that theory soon.
"What the hell is that!?" Hak reatrets in suprise stopping at the edge of the green mist.
"You said your weapon relised poision! why is your box spewing out death ki, what are you trying to pull here!"
thats weird....ive seen death ki ( or death force as I named it) before the readings on it and plotiuom radiation are entirely different. Do they just feel similar to her?
"Its not death ki" she's far enough away that I need to project my voice "If you wish it we can end this here but from what I can tell you should fine making contact!, the actual edge of the poisons expansion is about 6 meters further then the mist is but even standing it you show no adverse reaction outside of your ki spiking slightly." This was of course a lie the green mist and the border of the radiation effect were exactly the same but after this much teasing Ill be damned if I don't find out how cultivators and lethal doses of radiation interact.
She pauses and concentrates taking note of the situation her eyes scanning the green mist intently.
"your right.....I over reacted, get ready once your ready we can start." She takes a step into the mist, then another, then another.
Her cells aren't dying!, no brusing or lesions are appearing under her clothes either, bones are fine the calcium isn't being replaced with heavier atoms, her lungs are okay they're still functioning fine, and the energy she's giving off it seems as steady as always.... it seems cultivators at least ones of her level are immune to the effects of this amount of radiation.
Shine walks forward lifting his spear front the lead case and standing in position, thats one thing confirmed now its time to test out martial arts.
