The next day, training became quite a bit more embarrassing for Shurry. In his hopes to get some relief from yesterday's chase, he ended up only making himself seem cuter. Apparently calling for his mommy stirred new feelings in the Amazonesses. They had a new mix of emotions spewing out in every single way one could imagine. Occasionally there was a moment he sensed a lustful gaze, these usually preceded cold shivers down his spine.
It was a few weeks of life in the training grounds before the executive in charge of him noticed something was wrong one day. So, when they laid down, she made sure to ask about it. "You've seemed more stressed, Shurry, tell me what's on your mind?" Remaining silent he shivered, until arms wrapped around and cradled him against her breast. "Is it about what happened the other day?" Shurry shivered, nodding slightly. "Well, if anything you have nothing to fear from me, or Lady Kali. I'm sure the other executives, and the captains also have a similar idea. You're way too young for us. So feel free to be comfortable here."
Shurry, in a moment of confusion, blinked. Rotating his head to blop out of the bare chest and look up at his caretaker, tears flowed as he began to explain what happened, and his confusion as well as all the issues he would face without having his status updated.
Is it really okay to say all of this stuff? But I can't stop, after that day… The others terrify me. I need a way to compete with the falna. But how the hell do I do that? This woman… She's never done anything bad to me. I'll have to trust her… It's risky, but I have no choice. This is my only chance.
"Hmm, that's quite the conundrum for you isn't it. So what do you want to do about it?"
"I… Wan… No, I will get stronger. Strong enough that I'll only fear level 2s."
"Hmm? Nothing greater than that?"
"I'll make the same desire once I've grown that strong. But I have to start somewhere. Right now, I can hardly run away…" He paused. "Will you help me, help me to get stronger?"
It was at this time that the executive began to feel guilty. And so she decided to explain what had happened to Shurry's Mother. "It's been the cost of fleeing for a while. But that doesn't make it right. It's not Lady Kali's fault either. It was the previous captain who made the decision." She gulped seeing the flood of tears. "We've never had to worry about changing it. And I don't have the strength to prevent it from happening again-"
Shurry buried his face into the Amazoness' bosom and released a torrent of cries, muffled by his caretaker's body. This was a new life, and he didn't know his mother all that well. However, the little time he did know her… He couldn't help but love her, and everything she did for him. I'll find something to get my revenge! I swear it. He grit his teeth, then stopped once he realized his mouth started filling with something. Huh? Milk? Ah what the hell. I… I didn't realize. He recoiled.
As he recoiled, the Amazoness replaced his head, supporting it right where he had been. "Don't worry, it will only go to waste right now. You can have some, drink until you fall asleep. Tomorrow we can start getting you stronger." She smirked. "If it runs out, just move to the other one-" She looked down to see that Shurry had already fallen asleep, with a little drop of milk rolling down his tiny cheek.
The next morning, Shurry awoke to see that his caretaker was holding him close on her lap as she sat at the table. Off to the side was a full glass of a very familiar substance. Once she noticed he was awake she smiled and looked down, patting his head, and massaging his ears. "I had a bit left to get out. You can have that, it might not be much, but it'll help you grow a little stronger. I've got an idea to help you grow a bit stronger. But it will take some time to set it in motion. So for now, you're going to stay next to me no matter where you or I have to go. It should give you some time to clear your mind."
Shurry took the full glass in his tiny hands, and started slowly drinking. "Hmm? It tastes different." He noted before continuing to drink it. It smells the same, but it has something else in it.
"That's because it's been in the glass for about half an hour. Though, now that I think of it, that is an enchanted glass so spoiling shouldn't happen. Maybe it had a different flavor because it's coming from a glass, instead of my breast?"
Innocently looking at the glass and then to the side to see he was practically being told to… "I don't know. But…" He tried from the source again. "Nope, it's definitely the glass for some reason. Not bad, just different."
Giggling, she continued to massage his ears as he drank from the glass. "Well, during the day you should drink from the glass. Now, take your glass and go wait over there. You'll get to see some different things today. Do try to not let it shock you though. It is normal, and encouraged here." She sighed. "On top of that, it's basically baked into our very core as Amazonesses."
Shurry was confused, but did what he was told, and hopped off his caretaker's lap, and took a seat on a cushion to the side. He sipped from the cup, doing it slowly so as not to spill a single drop. And then went into a moment of thought.
I wonder what else I can do to get stronger… If I was in Orario this would be far easier to get stronger. Though I might actually be limited in doing so due to the need to constantly level up to keep up with the competition. And while I may not like it, these Amazonesses will keep me safe even at their own peril… That's just how much they value a future powerful male… Wait a damn minute. Is that what Kali is after in the first place? Deliberately not updating my status until I can reach the level's peak? His eyes narrowed. How did she know that's actually what I wanted?
