Episode 16
Rabaab's heart pounded as the locket's red glow intensified.
Jawad turned slowly, his eyes still hollow and empty, a sinister smile curling on his lips.
"Who… who are you?" she whispered, backing away.
The reflection laughed — a cold, echoing sound that filled the room.
Suddenly, the mirror cracked from the center, spiderweb fractures spreading across the glass like dark veins.
From the shattered mirror emerged a shadowy figure—tall, silent, and with hollow eyes that pierced her soul.
Rabaab clutched the pendant tighter, feeling warmth spread through her fingers, fighting against the chilling cold the shadow brought.
"Leave… us… alone," the shadow hissed, its voice like a whisper carried on the wind.
Rabaab's vision blurred. When she opened her eyes, the shadow was gone, the mirror whole again.
But in the silence, a new whisper echoed in her ear:
"This is only the beginning."
