Later Jisoo excused them saying,
" I have to go to the staff room for formalities now, I will see you guys later."
Both Hyeri and Haneul went inside the classroom.
After sometime ,the teacher entered with Jisoo in the class, she then introduced Jisoo as their new classmate.
Haneul was stunned and was unable to process things for sometime.
Now Jisoo, Hyeri and Haneul were all in the same section.
The teacher asked students to read the English chapter one by one.
Hajoon was uninterested in the class so he whispered towards Haneul ,who was sitting beside him.
"Hey, we are going to audition the new comers tomorrow right? Remember how strict our seniors were on us? We are going to follow their footsteps. The Sync must get the interschool dance competition trophy again."
Haneul was looking at Miss Han,who was gazing at Hajoon from the back,he tried to signal him, but it was already late.
Miss Han tapped Hajoon's shoulder from behind.
"Hajoon you are next ,read from where minji left "
Hajoon was blank since he was not attentive.
Minji, avoiding Miss Han's eyes was signaling with her fingers on the book.
Since Minji was sitting far away, he enlarged his eyes to see clearly.
Everyone started laughing at that moment.
"Stop it" Miss Han yelled at the students.
Suddenly everyone became silent the class room.
"You think your dance will get you in the college, what was your rank last time?
If you don't want to study just drop out from the school and dance on the streets."
Usually Hajoon used to take everything frankly but since he was serious about his passion for dance, he took it on his heart and left the classroom immediately without even taking the permission.
Later, Jisoo went for Hajoon to comfort him.
"Hey Hajoon, it's been a long time, are you alright? "
"Oh! Hey Jisoo, have you been well "
"I enjoyed the Seoul life for three years ,now I feel good to be here again.
Don't mind whatever teacher said, I know you are passionate towards your dancing, but the teacher was actually concerned for your future."
"I know Jisoo, I think I overreacted to walk off from the classroom back then, I just don't like when someone disrespects my art, but she was also right my grades are really going down," Hajoon replied with a sence of realisation.
" It's Okay Hajoon, just apologise to her later.
By the way what were you talking about back then?"she asked.
"Ahh that! actually we have a dance group in the school, we are recruiting new students tomorrow through auditions.
Jisoo,why don't you give audition too, remember you, me, Haneul and Taeha used to dance together back then, we were like a team with almost no audience," he said jokingly .
" It's already been a long time, we just dance for fun, how can I dance in front of a lot of people? there's no chance for me."
"Oh come on Jisso, I and Haneul are already in the group, it will be more fun if you join us."
"Really? But how can I dance in front of a lot of people?"
"Seeing the audience cheering for you in front of your eyes really makes your heart race. Just think about it Jisoo, a lot of people cheering for you, is not it a good feeling?
It will be fun together.
I will be waiting for you in the auditorium after lunch break tomorrow please give it a nice thought," Hajoon said with a passion in his eyes.
"Alright,alright, I will think about it first, then take permission from dad and will tell you later if I wanted to join," she replied with a soft tone.
"Ok then,tell me later , it's time for our next class let's go".
It was the lunch break Hyeri was eating on the table alone and as always Haneul sat beside her.
"Look I am sorry for what happened at the restaurant but don't ignore me from now on, I will be busy from tomorrow, so don't get bored without me," Haneul said to Hyeri .
"I never get bored, I like to be alone.
Anyways,earlier ,what was Miss Han talking about? I heard you guys have a dance group?" Hyeri asked.
"Hmm, we have a dance group in the school since last five years , there's an audition for the new members tomorrow "
" So can I audition too?" she asked with a soft voice.
"Ofcourse, anyone in this school can audition"
They were in the middle of the conversation, then Jisoo joined them.
"Can I sit here," she asked.
"Ofcourse, "Hyeri replied.
Haneul was still not used to Jisoo arround so he said"I am full, you guys carry on " and left.
Jisoo somehow got the Idea that he was ignoring her, but didn't know why he was like that.
Both the girls were comfortable with each other, they talked about themselves and their interests while eating and left together.
Hyeri asked her grandmother if she should audition for the dance group or not.
Her grandmother answered,"If it is important to you and gives you pleasure, you should do it."
"Thanks grandma, I already knew your answer , I love you so much, you are the best grandma," Hyeri said out of excitement.
Meanwhile, Jisoo was confident her father will give her permission. She told everything that happened in the school including the dance group audition Hajoon suggested her.
"Dad, I can audition right?" She asked.
"Princess you are the top student, I fear if it will disturb your studies, as a father I can only warn you but the decision is up to you, your dream was to get in the best university of Korea so think wisely before taking a decision and remember whatever you do, I will always be there for you." Her father advised.
"I think you are right dad, I should focus on my goal more," Jisoo replied with a low voice.
Next day, Jisoo wanted to talk to Haneul but he was gone for the auditon's preparations.
She got to see Hajoon for a moment. He was handling the stuff required for the auditorium's wire connections.
"Hey Hajoon, are you busy," Jisoo asked.
"Yes, don't forget to come to the auditorium after the lunch break."
"Oh well," she sound confused saying that.
She gave it a lot of thought and finally decided not to audition.
Hyeri went to Jisoo and asked," Hey Jisoo ,wana go to the auditorium with me?
"You are auditioning for the group?" Jisoo asked.
"Hmm, I like it when I am on stage, I think it will be fun. Please come and cheer for me there."
Both Jisoo and Hyeri went to the auditorium together. When everyone came, the curtains were opened.
The auditorium echoed with the sharp tap of sneakers, the hum of music, and synchronized beats thumping through the wooden floor.
The crowd was drawn by the powerful choreography. On the center floor moved The Sync—the school's most hyped dance group.
Park Haneul spun with ease, fluid yet precise, while Hajoon matched his steps like they shared the same heartbeat.
Both jisoo and Hyeri were stunned, their heartbeat became faster.
Jisoo, who only decided to focus on her studies was imagening herself on the stage as Hajoon mentioned .
The performance ended, the auditorium was full with the applause.
Finally the dance teacher came on the stage with a mic," Welcome you all to the auditions for the dance group"The sync" "where every step speaks and every beat connect us to eachother."
"You know why I showed you their performance before? So that you can know the standards.
we never lost any competition, not only because these kids performed the best , but they performed together.
Your auditions starts now and your seniors in the group will decide the final members, each member from "The sync" will choose a new member, so with five members already in the group ,we require five new members only to make a ten membered group.
The results will be announced after all the performances.
Everyone was called out one by one on stage, finally it was Hyeri's chance to rock the stage .
She performed exactly like her personality, neat and elegant.
Everyone was so into her dance including Haneul.
She met eyes with Haneul most of the time when everyone was looking only at her elegant moves, while she was performing ,Hajoon went to Jisoo to inform that she was next.
"Wait what I am next? I never gave my name for the auditions, I told you that I will inform you if I wanted to audition " she said anxiously.
"Oh sorry Jisoo I put your name in advance and forgot to ask you later, it's okay I will cut your name as soon as possible," Hajoon replied.
As he was going towards the stage, the announcer already took her name.
