Somewhere far off in the distance in a field of bloody ice and snow lie hundreds of human bodies and in the middle of that field stand four individuals all having some form of varying annoyance,anger, confusion and oddly enough amusement painted on there faces. One of the was a tall and slender young man with raven black hair, having strange but majestic eyes that looked like pools of silver which reflected the color of whatever the man looked at.
Then the man slowly turned his head left and right with a small smile laced with both amusement and contempt on his strangely beautiful face looked down and saw one of the many mangled bodies lying in the bloody snow, the body had a particular emblem of a sword smashed through an anvil engraved on its jacket it had on . Seeing this the man's carefree smile quickly turned into a scowl as he then decided to further desicrate the corpse by swiftly kicking it over, causing the others in that field to narrow there glances at the Young man.
Noticing this the man quickly regained his composer and put on a smile all the while clearing his throat, he then began to open his mouth to say something but before he could an audible 'tsk' could be heard from besides him as He turned around he saw an annoyingly handsome young man with alburn hair looking at him with a scowl on his beautiful face. He then opened his mouth and said in a tone of slow and calm mild annoyance " Do you not have any respect for the dead you bastard."
Hearing this the raven haired man looked back at the alburn haired man and then put a hand on his chest while he scoffed as if he was hurt by the other man comments then spoke in a saddened tone." Why of course I do. What good and respectable man doesn't!"
But before the other man could retort the raven haired man claims of being a quote on quote'respectable man' the woman with raven black hair spoke in a grim and serious tone directed at the handsome man." Kai don't bother your just going to further entertain this man." After she spoke said man turned his head towards the raven haired woman with a wide smile on his erily beautiful face and began to speak." Ahh thank you master jet opps... what I meant to say was saint jet...."
But as the man continued to speak the woman with olive skin spoke up in a loud boisterus tone interrupting him." I'm sorry but why the hell is he still here!!" The tanned woman yelled out loud causeing jet to swiftly turn on her heel to face the boisterous woman,and spoke up with an annoyed tone laceing her voice." Quite down Effi, you as well as I know that we need all hands on deck in order to not only find sunless but Also get some answers out of him ,we still don't know the damn reason he decided to bail right when we were going to complete are third nightmare. After all cassia only ever told nephis the real reason he left anyway."
As she finished that last part in a low grumble, Effie ever so quick to respond said in her usual loud fashion." L..look I know that okay but still why do we have to bring this creepy bastard along. Why can't we you know leave him hear?" Jet opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by Mordret when he spoke up in an exasperated tone and said. " I'll have you know saint Athena that having me and my expertise helping you find sunless will not only be quick but also efficient."
Once Effi Heard him say his rebuttal she quickly spoke in an acusitory tone." And? Even if we find sunless I doubt you being there will help get answers out from his mouth. If anything you'll probably try to snatch his body you wanna be skin walker!" But before anyone could say anything thing else Effi continued speaking saying " The thing is Mordret we don't even need you we have Kai right here with both his aspect ability and transformation ability he can fly up look down and through the walls and sweep up the little cockroach and bring him straight to us easy peasy you don't even have to lift a finger let alone be here at all. Sooo bbbyyyeee."
Once she said that last part it caused Mordret to raise a brow in response and slowly a smile crept onto his face as he turned to look a the woman then tilted his head downwards towards the swaddle cloth she was holding causing the woman to stare the man down and involuntary step back and cover her child's face. That action in turn caused the man to let out an Erie chuckle and began waving both his hands in front of himself and said." Oh saint Athena why must you give such nasty looks that's quite unbefitting of a mother you know? After all what's wrong with wanting to take a look at the world's first transcendent child?" He cooed cause Effi to tighten her fists in response.
Effi looked at Mordret and in a said in a low growl " if you ever and I mean ever come towards my child in your life I'll make you regret it. So I best believe it's time to take your leave Mordret your unwelcomed and not even needed in the first place so go!" She said in a thunderous boom causing Mordret to raise is brow up and look over to jet and Kai both with the same stare Effi had thus giving him the hint that it was time to say his farewells." Hah how disappointing it seems as if I'm unwelcomed here... Well then so long my dearest comrades I wish you luck in finding sunless." As he said this he took a dramatic bow turned on his heel and began walking in the opposite direction from them.
Seeing this both Effi and Kai gave their own sighs of relief that the man was finally heading his own back to what ever hell he came from. But as they did this Jet took a quick pause for a moment before opening her mouth and saying. " Wait a minute Mordret we still need to find sunless." Which caused everyone to turn their heads at the woman with a look of surprise on there faces. But before Kai and Effi could refute Jets claim she continued." we all have the same itching curiosity when it comes to sunless ditching us at verge and I'm highly doubtful you don't as well. After all if you don't want to know his reasons why then what about the secrets he's probably learned after mmm?"
After jet finished speaking Mordret took a moment to conseplate the pros and cons of helping them before his own curiosity won him over in the matter and then thought about how he was still in hot water with clan song after his stunt and needed some form of bargaining chip. So he enthusiasticly nodded his head and said " why of course I would absolutely love to aid you in this endeavor. If you'll have saint Athena and saint Kai." He cooed causeing both Effi and Kai to scowl towards him but with a fierce look coming from jet they all decided to set aside there differences to catch that little cockroach but before they could ever lay the foundations for a plan Kai quickly purked up as if he had heard something causing the rest of the member to give him various glances.
Noticing something wrong with Kai's behavior Effi tapped her hand on Kai's shoulder causeing him to flinch prompting her to ask him what was wrong he then looked back and fourth between everyone and said in a confused manner." I... It's Cassie" causing the man to take a quick pause and then continued saying." Sh .... She needs help and oh.. oh gods that nephis and sunless are trying to kill each other!"
When Kai spoke those words everything froze but before anyone could open there mouth a distant erei bell like ringing could be heard across the landscape and instantly they all knew where sunless was.
