There was a teenage boy in the world. He was a young man who had purple hair that was blue at the tips, and eyes with a purple and blue hue. He's dressed in a cozy orange puffer jacket over a black-and-green plaid turtleneck and dark star-speckled pants with colorful stripes. His name was Moro Walker.
Moro woke up earlier than he normally did, but he was supposed to go to school in 2 hours, so he didn't see the need to go back to bed. He tried to get up, but there was something stopping him under his covers. It was something small, yet heavy, lying on his chest. When he threw up the covers, he said Yuzu. A small, golden-orange fox with three small white orbs embedded vertically in its forehead. It had large, round yellow eyes, a short snout, and fluffy white fur on its chest, muzzle, and tail tip. It had tall ears with brown tips and thick, soft fur covering its body. It also had 5 fluffy tails behind its back and was absolutely adorable. It was one of his kudos.
Kudos are creatures that used to hunt humans, but since then, humans have developed technology to help capture and train them. Kudos come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and many species differ from one another. They usually hunt humans, but a Kudo that can be trained can be valuable for many things like work, friendship, and... maybe a bit more than just friendship on occasions.
The people who tame them are known as masters, like Moro. And Yuzu was his most recent kudo captured.
She opened her eyes and smiled at him with her tails wagging. He rubbed her head. "Morning, girl. Ready for the first day of the new school year."
She nodded rapidly. Yuzu hopped onto his head as he got up. He washed her up and washed himself up with hot, soapy water. When he went out into his kitchen, he heard someone talking coming from a room in the distance. He gestured for Yuzu to be silent as he snuck up to the room.
Inside the room was an elderly man in a rocking chair and an elderly woman on a bed with a medical machine next to her. The old man was going bald, and the woman started to develop wrinkles. Despite them only being in their late 60s, they were approaching death's door. These were Moro's parents. Next to his mom, there was one more figure in the room, tending that was taking her blood pressure.
It was an anthropomorphic furry jackal woman. She had rich black fur, short black hair, and golden eyes. She had jackal ears and a tail. She was tall and attractive with a large bust and golden lipstick. She wore a navy blue and gold maid uniform. The top had a light beige corset, and the sleeves were wide and puffy with gold cuffs, decorated with moon phases and stars. The skirt was short and layered, featuring asymmetrical navy panels with constellation patterns and golden trim. Also, she had long space blue gloves that went up to her elbows and long space blue leggings with gold heels. Her name was Eternity, and she was Moro's first ever kudo.
She had a straight look on her face most of the time and rarely smiled or cried. But she was very loving and a massive help around the house, especially when it came to taking care of his parents.
His mom looked up to her. "Thank you, Eternity."
"I don't deserve such gratitude, Mrs. Walker." Eternity responded. "I'm just simply doing the job my master assigned me to do."
"Oh, come now. No need to be such an ice queen with me."
"Well... this is also my way of repaying my debt to you and Mr. Walker."
"Yet, you go above and beyond for us so often. So, I thank you."
"Please, Mistress. You're energy should be spent resting, not speaking."
"Aw, where's the fun in that. And you used to be such a mischievous little girl."
"Well, we all must mature one day."
"You'd make a great wife, Eternity."
"You think?"
"You're kind, loyal, can cook, can clean, can be both gentle and strict, and you still have that smoking body of yours."
"Mistress, please don't make such jokes."
"Make sure you and Moro give me at least 3 grandkids before I kick the bucket."
Eternity grew a bit flustered and left the room. Though as she left, her tail was wagging rapidly. When she walked out into the hallway, she saw Moro eavesdropping. She sighed. "Master, please have some tact."
"Yuzu was curious about them, too."
"What would you like for breakfast?"
"You."
"Master, be serious."
"I am, but fine. I'll take pancakes."
"As you wish," she bowed to him and walked off. Though she couldn't help but have her cheeks turn a slight shade of pink when he said 'you'. She really likes it.
He noticed her tail wagging rapidly as she walked off. He looked over at the table in the family room. On a desk, there was a picture of him and Eternity. He recalled the past.
When he was only 5, his parents, still mobile, brought a young furry girl to him. She was about 3 feet tall with ragged clothes and wounds all over her body. She hid behind his mom nervously. "Honey, this is Eternity. Would you like to have her as your first kudo?"
Moro instantly said yes. And since then, she's been by his side. Years had passed, and when he was 13, he noticed she had changed a lot. She had grown bigger... in more ways than one.
He sat on the couch in his house, reading a light novel. The window beamed sunlight onto his pages, making it hard to read, but he was too lazy to get up and close them. He was fine just reading it as it was.
She walked over to him, wearing a crop top, boots, shorts, and a baseball cap. She leaned in and smiled at him. "Watcha reading?"
"Oh, it's just a light novel I'm trying to catch up on. It's about this guy who gets reincarnated as a sl-"
Before he could finish speaking, she jumped into his lap and swung her arms around her neck. Her feet hung lazily off the couch while she pulled herself up on him. She sniffed his neck. "You smell so good."
She nuzzled against Moro and kissed his cheek. She rested in his arms as she continued to read. Soon, she started to move again. Crawling behind him while resting her legs in front of him on his lap. Behind him, she massages his back. "You're skin is so soft and your flesh is so warm. You're like a living heartbeat."
"Hey, Master, let's do it."
"Do what?"
"Mate."
"Yeah, nah, I'm good."
She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly. He just ignored her. Eternity pouted and began to crawl up his body. She wrapped her thighs around his neck, their thickness and softness beginning to suffocate him. Her right arm hung lazily behind his head while her left hand grabbed his chin. "Meanie." she pouted.
He repeatedly tapped her leg, trying to signal that she was choking him. She got off him and crawled off the sofa between his legs. She poked her head out from between his thighs.
Back in the present, Kudo was 16, and things had changed drastically from then. He couldn't even believe they were the same person now. "Geez, what happened?"
When he walked into the family room, he saw two more kudos in there. One was a sleek, elegant dragon-like creature with a soft, pastel body that shimmered between pink, white, and lavender. It had long, slender legs, a flowing mermaid-like tail with a glowing fin, and wide, semi-transparent wings that sparkled with light. It had sharp teeth, a small snout, and glowing blue eyes. Crystal-like horns and ribbon-like trails extended from its head and body, giving it a celestial, dreamlike appearance. His name was Rada, and he was curled up on the floor.
Meanwhile, in a chair rested another kudo: an armored humanoid with a sleek, black exosuit styled with glowing blue lines and sharp, angular designs. The helmet had holographic cat-like ears and glowing eyes, giving it a feline appearance. Four long mechanical tails extended from the back, and curved energy blades were attached to each arm. Their name was Rui, and they were reading Moro's Manga.
"Hey, Rui, I told you not to touch my stuff without my permission."
Rui shrugged and ignored him, continuing to read. But suddenly, Eternity flashed stepped over to him and yanked the Manga from his hands. "When mother says something, it's absolute. No Manga reading for a week."
Rui was clearly frustrated, but he could speak, so he could just complain with his overexaggerated actions.
Yuzu leaned down in front of Moro's face and pointed forward with one of her tails to the table. She then slapped his forehead and pouted. This usually meant she wanted to eat. With an awkward expression, he gave her a free ride over to the table, and when she sat down at the table, she eagerly awaited food.
Eternity brought him his pancakes. "Master, get ready for school. You don't want to be late on your first day.
"Yeah, I know."
