"But-" She cut me off again.
"Here, read this book so you can calm down." She handed me a random book from her drawer.
The book was titled: 'Sacrifices'
I was about to ask her a question again then she signed me to read on the table at the very corner. I just sat and read it.
CHAPTER 1:
I finally did it. I killed my own sister.
My reason? I had no choice, I don't want to be married to an old person so I'll steal her groom instead. It's not like they love each other, it's just another sad arranged marriage but it's better than being married to a person as old as my grandfather.
I dragged her bloody body in a near cementary hoping no one saw this twisted crime. I buried her exactly 6 ft deep. At least I'm giving her a proper burial, it's not that grand but she kinda deserves it.
It was a sunny morning...for me. Poor sister, yesterday was the last chance she saw the light of day. I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they realize she's gone.
"Morning, mother." I said to my step mother, smiling of course.
"Oh, good morning...dear." She smiles back. I can already tell that smile is fake. What a fake gold digger.
"Where's Maria? Don't tell me she's still sleeping, she'll be late for her first day training." I asked already knows she's dead but we still need to put up an act. I hate it.
"I don't know to that woman. Go check on her." She answers, I hate that voice so much. I can't believe I have to listen to her voice every single day.
"I don't want to...Freya!?" I yelled. A young woman appeared quickly.
"Yes, madame?" She said...panting.
"Can you check on Maria...and why are you panting? You were just on the other room." With my brother. I'm actually not surprised my brother is already hitting up a new hired maid.
"I- I..." She's having trouble finding the right words. Poor Freya, she's not just working as a maid but also my brother's new toy. He'll need her everyday.
"Just check up on her, okay?" I tried to talk calmer but there's always something unsettling on how I say my sentences...I might need speech therapy.
This book might be interesting.
