Chapter LVI: Out in the Woods, Part 2
As they are all asleep, Akiko and Kota didn't have any tents so they go sleep in the guestroom. When they open the guestroom,
"Um, this is nice and the bed is spacious, so where do I sleep?" (Kota)
"Well you're looking at it right now" (Akiko)
Kota freezes, pauses for a while, and slowly turns his head to Akiko.
"You mean, we're sharing a bed?" (Kota)
"Yeah" (Akiko)
*points at the bed* "THIS bed?" (Kota)
"Yeah" (Akiko)
"Ummmm, are you okay with this though?" (Kota)
"I know it's going to be something else, but of course, I want to sleep with my man, hope nobody finds out though lol" (Akiko)
"Um ok, what are we waiting for? Let's go" (Kota)
They both jumped unto the bed.
"So what do you want to do now?" (Akiko)
"Well, I don't know, it's my first time to do this" (Kota)
Akiko then hugs Kota, while the latter's head bursts into steam.
"You know, I'm thankful to have you. Someone who cares, someone who can see my worth, though I'm grateful to have you" (Kota)
"Aww, Kota. I'm thankful to have a caring boyfriend, who knows how I feel, and fun to have. Who knows how to help someone with their problems, and to cheer up someone when they're down. That's what I love about you. You're always there for me." (Akiko)
"Thank you so much, my koi lol" (Kota)
"Now you're copying me. It's fine. Let's sleep now" (Akiko)
As they tuck into the bed, on the other hand, Enmei, who can't sleep goes out of his tent to drink some milk to help him fall asleep. As he gets back to the campsite, he sees something unnerving.
"Holy sh*t! It's the teke teke! What should I do?", he asks himself in a trembling voice as his heart is pounding and beating faster, so he hides behind one of the wooden posts on the porch. The girl seems to be turning to another direction. Enmei takes a peek again but freezes immediately as the girl is in front of him. He screams and runs,
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHH! I WANT MY MOMMY!"
"Wait, come back here!", says the girl in a haggardly voice.
As their lips are almost close to one another, they both stop due to Enmei's scream. They get up to go outside. At the porch,
"HEY! What's the big idea here?" (Kota)
"Enmei?" (Akiko)
"GUYS RUN! IT'S THE TEKE TEKE!"(Enmei)
The two tilt their heads for a while, then shake them in disbelief and goes back inside the rest house. Meanwhile, Himari, Asahi, and Natsuki get up due to the screams and growl.
"Wtf is happening here?" (Natsuki)
"Beats me, all I want to do is to sleep" (Asahi)
A rock then flies towards Enmei and hit him on the head, knocking him out. Kota and Akiko goes outside to investigate again.
"Wait, who the-" (Kota)
They all look at Himari since she's the one who threw the rock. They then carry Enmei to the porch to recover.
"Ok, so where's the Teke Teke this dude has been talking about?" (Akiko)
Kota realizes that something is off and says,
"Wait, if we're all awake, can you guys check Hanako if she's in her tent?"
The gang checks the tent, and indeed Hanako is not inside it. They look everywhere until they found footprints leading to the forest.
"Guys, you sure you want to do this?" (Kota)
"Yeah, let's go find her" (Akiko)
"Wait a second, who will guard Enmei?" (Natsuki)
"I'll guard him, it's my fault why he still can't wake up" (Himari)
Kota nods his head to her then unto the group and they go deep into the forest, carrying some candles, flashlights, and their phones. Akiko has a chord attached to her which is connected to the rest house.
"Guys, make sure to stick with the group, grab on this chord, we don't want to lose someone here again" (Akiko)
A stick then snaps which makes them to freeze, and followed by a rustling in the nearby bushes.
"Bruh, what was that?" (Asahi)
"Maybe it's just a badger or a small creature" (Natsuki)
Something then growls near them. They look around but they don't see anything but tree barks, and a bamboo grove. As they go deeper, they see a silhouette of a lady. They pause for a bit since it has red stains on her clothes.
"Hanako, is that you?" (Kota)
The lady growls and runs toward them looking like somehow it looks crippled.
"Take me, I deserve to die" (Asahi)
As the girl approaches them, Kota flashes the flashlight at her.
"Argh, guys?", it was Hanako all along.
"Hanako, you got us worried, what were you doing in the middle of the night?" (Akiko)
"What do you mean? Oh yeah, how did I got here?" (Hanako)
"I don't know with you bish, maybe you were sleep-walking" (Natsuki)
"Hmm, you don't say", says Hanako as she remembers doing the same during their camping with Enmei. She apparently woke up wearing the same dress as she is wearing right now. Natsuki then realizes something while Hanako is zoning. She snaps her fingers and says,
"Oh, so you're the Teke Teke lady back at Enmei's camping story and now"
"That's actually hypothetical" (Kota)
"Yup" (Asahi)
"It's actually her you guys, hypothetically speaking, she's got bangs much more like the Teke Teke and the dress is kinda the same.Furthermore, she has the ability to sleepwalk and to make things more clear, a sleepwalking person looks like a zombie due to its movement." (Natsuki)
The gang nods and amazed with her explanation. They then begin to head back until they hear a growl again.
"Hanako, was that you?" (Asahi)
"Didn't I tell you guys, I ate like a bunch of marshmallows earlier" (Hanako)
"Well, if it wasn't you, me, or any of us, meaning-" (Kota)
"RUN!" (Akiko)
They run as fast as they could do until they get back to the campsite.
"Sh*t! What was that?!" (Asahi)
"I don't know, maybe we interfered with a forest spirit" (Kota)
They check Enmei and Himari at the porch.
"You guys good here?" (Kota)
"Yes, but glad there wasn't a single creature that showed up" (Himari)
Enmei wakes up and Natsuki tells him the truth. He is about to berate Hanako but weird sounds surround them making them to retreat to their respective tents and sleep. However for Akiko and Kota, they've been hugging each other on the bed for a long time until they fall asleep.
*Trembling* "Pls don't leave me, I don't want to die" (Kota)
"Shh, shh, I'm here now, don't worry my scaredy cat, let's now go to sleep" (Akiko)
Morning then rises and all of them are out of their tents. They all peak at Akiko and Kota.
"Aww, they're so sweet, I wish I could have someone to cuddle" (Hanako)
"Shut up Hanako" (Enmei)
"Wait, why?" (Hanako)
"Yeah you blew yours that's why you can't have this lmao" (Himari)
Kota gets up and gets surprised of what is happening. And as he looks outside, he gets more even shocked and tries to wake up Akiko. They are both stunned with the gang watching them until the butler throws a cup of coffee at them. They all pack their bags and go home. For the butler, it was him who was making the growling noise at night due to a heavy machinery he was operating that time.
