"Huh! Erina-sama, where are you going at this hour?" Hisako Arato asked, watching Erina put on her shoes. Lately, Erina-sama's personality had become subtly "strange." She had grown more assertive, or rather, it wasn't exactly assertiveness—it was more like she had developed strong opinions without being headstrong.

She was now more open to others' views and less arrogant than before. On the first day of school, everything had been handled perfectly with elegant grace. Previously, Erina-sama's overly proud personality had often led to friction with others. Hisako Arato knew that Erina-sama was always a good person, just not very skilled at communicating, so she had always tried to privately explain things to others after Erina upset them. Now, however, Erina-sama seemed even more perfect than before, and Hisako no longer needed to do such things to maintain her image. In the culinary lab, Erina-sama had even made her a new type of dish she had never seen before. Even now, Hisako still savored the lingering taste.

And Erina-sama had been increasingly considerate towards her recently. Thinking of this, Hisako's face flushed slightly.

"I want someone to properly apologize to me," Erina said with a smile. "I'll be back soon."

"Shouldn't you tell the Director?" Hisako Arato asked with some concern. "Shall I go with you?!"

"No need," Erina refused. She and Renz were married three years later, and their daughter Rina Nakiri was born in the fourth year, followed by Haruki Nakiri in the fifth. She remembered the birthdays of each of her children clearly. Right now, Hisako had probably only just met Renz today. If she said she was going to see Renz now, it would be like going to meet a stranger in the evening, and it would be strange if she agreed. Erina's original plan was to make her relationship public within three months. This timeframe was just right—neither too long nor too short.

"Alright then," Hisako nodded, seeing that Erina-sama wouldn't budge. However, in her heart, she had already decided to secretly follow her out and protect Erina-sama's safety.

Outside the apartment, Erina rubbed her temples, a little headache starting. She had truly underestimated her obsessed little fangirls. But thankfully, their stalking skills still needed improvement. She made a few turns and easily shook them off. She hadn't expected to have to engage in such a battle of wits just to meet someone.

After knocking, Renz saw Erina. Having lived with her for so long, he knew that sometimes, if he didn't take the initiative, he would be constantly suppressed.

"Erina, explain yourself," Renz said expressionlessly.

Explain herself? What was there to explain?! Hey, I'm clearly the victim here, alright? If I hadn't come, who knows what you two would have done? Erina narrowed her eyes, glaring at Renz. Although she said nothing, the glint in her eyes clearly conveyed her meaning: 'Quickly, commit seppuku and atone!'

In the living room, Mashiro Shiina was staring intently at the animated show on the television.

"Have you already bathed Mashiro?" Erina sat on the living room sofa. Though it was a question, it carried an extraordinary sense of oppression. His wife was checking in. Renz also sat on the sofa. If you asked him what this felt like, Renz couldn't quite articulate it, but Erina's aura was pressing down on him. Renz actually felt a little tremble.

However, an upright person fears no shadow. In a clear and innocent situation, Renz wasn't afraid to meet Erina's gaze. Thinking of this, Renz, who usually slouched, now sat up ramrod straight. At school, I rejected others' advances, refused the eventuality of a fake girlfriend becoming a real one, and even encountered a Sensei route that stimulated ethical concerns, dealing with her neither subserviently nor arrogantly, and pleasantly sending the Sensei on her way. If you can still attack me for this, then I'll just have to show you what a husband's passion is like.

"Not yet. I told Mashiro that you and I would bathe her together later," Renz was momentarily distracted, seeing Erina's face growing increasingly gloomy, and suddenly realized he had said the wrong thing. This is bad. His younger body instinctively tensed, and cold sweat beaded on Renz's back. Saying something about bathing another girl in front of his wife was, no matter how you looked at it, an action challenging his wife's trust in him.

And Renz had absolutely no ulterior motives regarding Mashiro Shiina. After interacting with her, he had always treated Mashiro like a child. He and Erina had even bathed their children together before, which was why he had said something like that. Renz's beloved was Erina, his future lover was Erina, and he was completely devoted to her. However, this was the hardest thing to prove.

The next second, Renz made an extreme save. He couldn't let such an unnecessary trust crisis arise. "Don't worry, Mashiro is so young. In my heart, she's the same age as our daughter. Besides, her living habits are a bit messy, and she can't take care of herself. She's just a very pure child," Renz said calmly. "Bathing her is just like bathing our daughter. Don't think so twistedly about everything."

Erina's expression finally softened. Renz wasn't wrong. In every aspect, besides her age, Mashiro Shiina was indeed very much like a child. Her own attitude had been a bit extreme. Having lived together for so long, Erina had deep trust in Renz's character, and between husband and wife, this trust was the most important thing. She wasn't jealous. Absolutely not. She had only come to check on her cousin's situation and to see what the living environment was like, nothing more.

"However, Erina, you really care about me," Renz said truthfully. "You even get jealous of a child?"

"I'm not jealous!" Erina emphasized, her voice raised. "I just came to see if you can adapt to this environment, and I'm afraid you can't take good care of Mashiro."

"Can't take good care of her?" Renz questioned. "Who cooked all our meals later on? You, Rina, and Haruki kept nagging me every day to cook for you. Can you deny that?"

"That was just a honeymoon period; we were just clingy! Your cooking isn't delicious at all!" Erina refused to admit it.

"Even if it is delicious, I'm the one who taught you how to make it!" Erina retorted, then said somewhat indignantly. The two of them, once they started chatting, seemed to forget their surroundings.

Mashiro Shiina, who had been watching television the whole time, tilted her head.

"Cousin is here? I want to take a bath!" Mashiro Shiina didn't care what the two in front of her were arguing about; she raised her hand and made her request. Renz and Erina looked at each other. A new dilemma had arisen. Should they both help Mashiro Shiina bathe, or should Erina help Mashiro Shiina bathe alone?
