EMILY'S POV
When I was begining to let go of all the pains that he has caused me, thinking we stil have a chance to make everything better, him begging me saying he wants to be good for us and then he does this?
That happy expression on his face when he walked out of the bathroom told me everything I wanted to ask.
I walked up to him and slapped his face, leaving him stunned.
"So this is the change you were talking about? You keep on toying with my emotions , Dave I underestimated you, you are a monster" I yelled at him.
"It's not how you think it is, she's trying to sabotage our relationship" he said with his eyes, unfocused.
"She is pregnant Dave, she's pregnant with your child while I lost mine because of the both of you, I have lost too much" i cried bitterly.
Dave walked up to me, trying to console me and then all the emotions I was trying to control plus all the pain I have been enduring opened up at that moment, I pushed him hard on the floor, reigning blows after blows on his face.
All my rationality was gone at that moment, he let me hit him without a word as if he admits playing with my feelings all these times.
I got so angry and pushed him aside as I walked into his bedroom, since I have lost something it's only right that he lost one too.
I searched his files and found the file he was telling me about a day before, without thinking i tore it into pieces and only after that did I come back to my senses.
My eyes widened and I screamed sitting on the cold floor shakingly.
Dave will definitely kill me for this!
I tore the contract his company gave him to review, it was a contract with one of the best fintech industries and that contract contained the agreement of a large loan to Dave's company!
I was horrified.
He wasn't going to let this one slide.
I was really done for this time.
DAVE'S POV
When she slapped and punched me numerous times, I let her vent her anger on me, I deserve it. When she walked passed me into my bedroom, her silence all of a sudden told me that something has happened or it's about to happen.
When she screamed out, I panicked and ran into the room only to see the contract torn into pieces,the same contract I and my colleagues had worked so hard to get was on the floor and it's in pieces.
All the little fondness I had for her vanished that moment, I was more than angry, this contract is my dream, the one I have been working tirelessly to get for two years and now it's all gone because of her.
"What have you done Emily? This is my life's work all gone because you can't control your impulse for violence? You bitch" I roared.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do it, I was overwhelmed and I didn't think at the time, baby I'm sorry" she was afraid
" You are sorry? Are you happy now that you have destroyed it? I was clearly going to marry you and I'm really thankful that I didn't, I regret ever crossing part with you….you disgust me" I said pouring out what i was feeling.
Emily looked at me shocked, without any warning, she raised her hand and slapped me again but this time I didn't let her get away with it.
I pawned on her, slapping and punching her in every direction my hand went to as she sobbed, cursing at me but I didn't care even if she was still healing from the miscarriage she had.
"So what if she's carrying my child? Do I have to stay and continue to endure your unbearable character? I wanted to make up for everything but you clearly don't deserve it" I yelled at her while I continued to hit her.
That was when I saw blood gushing out of the back of her head, I felt cold all over and was horrified.
I quickly took her into my car and drove like crazy until I arrived at the hospital.
EMILY'S POV
I opened my eyes to see the same environment I left not more than a week ago again.
I smiled bitterly, I shouldn't have done that to him, I know he said alot of vulgar words towards me but him hitting me still hurt me, Dave has never done that before no matter how annoying I was, I was still dazed.
I closed my eyes, letting the tears flow freely.
"I have lost" I said to myself.
After everything this is how it ended again,I turned and looked towards the chair in my ward, hoping he was there but he wasn't, but someone else was there.
