She got up from under the tree and took a deep breath and exhaled while turning her gaze towards the direction where the sun was slowly rising.
Then she slowly bent down and picked up Murasame from under the tree and tightly fastened it to her waist.
She observed her dusty clothes and then remembered, she was so focused on training and getting some rest in peace without any worries, that she forgot to clean herself up before going to sleep.

"Yes please, system" Arlecchino confirmed without a second thought. Although it cost Threads of Fate, but the amount is not that great. And who knows how long it will take to find a source of water in this forest. Not to mention whether those water sources are safe or not.

Arlecchino walked towards the camp fire that had already been extinguished at some point and spread the ashes left over with her feet.
Afterwards, she turned her gaze to her right hand palm and clenched it in to a fist, feeling the increase of her strength compared to before.

(As expected, a lot of things have changed, so what is this "novice" and "beginer" marked in front of some of my skills.) Arlecchino thought with curiosity.

"I see....." Arlecchino muttered but did not dwell on these details any longer.
She took one last look around her, imprinting the scenery around her in her mind.
This was the place she first woke up in after her rebirth, the starting point of her journey in a new world.
Then, Arlecchino turned around and started walking in a direction she picked beforehand.
What she needed now was more power, she was still weak. Before she interacts with any of the major races she needs to become stronger. Because without strength your life will be at the mercy of the strong.
Monsters may kill you, but to monsters you are simply food, they attack you out of instinct or hunger, but other intelligent races may do more than kill you for the most trivial of reasons.
Arlecchino never believed in the goodness of people, because she has seen with her own eyes the brutality, cruelty and savagery they are capable of. In her eyes people are much more dangerous than any monster.
As she walked through the maze of huge trees around her, she was always alert and drew murasame out of its crimson scabbard, keeping the sword ready at all times to face any monster that she may encounter.
As she keept walking she started to hear the noises of monsters from afar, which made Arlecchino even more alert.

Arlecchino activated "Spirit Vision" decisively, as the red "X" marks on her pupils started to glow with crimson light.
As spirit vision activated, Arlecchino's visual perspective changed again, the familiar rainbow like mist appeared everywhere around her.
But this time she also saw more details, in some parts of the forest within her spirit visions range there were vague illusory figures made of white light of different shapes and sizes that resemble various types of monsters.
(Hmm... are these.... souls?) Arlecchino was quite curious about these entities, but she already had a good guess as to what they are.
And at the same moment the ever helpful system chimed in.
[Yes, it is exactly as you have guessed host these are the souls of fallen monsters, these spiritual bodies are sustained in the material world by the the "chaos essence" they have absorbed while still alive.]
[These spiritual bodies wander around until the "chaos essence" sustaining them is gradually reabsorbed in to the environment and then they enter the realm known as "Endgrave or Necropolis" the land of the dead and enter reincarnation.]
[Some souls though have too much resentment and regrets that they transform in to ghosts. A type of undead.]
Arlecchino listened to the systems explanation and kept moving forward while observing the wandering souls from afar.
As she kept walking she suddenly saw a clearing in the forest ahead. As she slowly approached the clearing, she felt an instinctual premonition of danger.

Her passive skill automatically activated, which means danger that could threaten her life is near, but even in this situation she did not stop but kept moving forward.
As the sense of danger increased more and more, She activated another one of her skills.

The moment this skill activated, her presence, her sent, chaos essence aura, sounds made when walking, shadows cast by her, disappeared like she was never there.
But even so the premonition of danger still remained. Shortly after she finally reached the clearing, what she saw was a pack of huge wolves.
There were 20 wolves in total. Each wolf was twice the size of an adult man. They had thick black fur on their bodies with red eyes with vertical pupils.
