Chapter 69 - Chapter 69

The Neon Country players stared in disbelief, their eyes wide as they took in the scene before them. The player who knew Chinese looked at the others with a mixture of confusion and awe, then turned to Ken with a hesitant smile.

**"This is the 'steering wheel'?"** he asked, voice tinged with doubt.

**"Are you sure? It looks like a fishing rod with a carrot on the end."**

The player from the Neon side nodded cautiously.

**"I didn't misunderstand. It's just… a carrot on a fishing rod. That's all it looks like."**

Ken chuckled softly, waving his hand.

**"You didn't hear it wrong. Just trust me—there's a reason for this. You'll see soon enough."**

The other four Neon players exchanged bewildered glances, their faces expressing skepticism.

**"Are you serious? A steering wheel?!"** one blurted out.

**"It looks more like a joke than a real thing."**

**"We were supposed to go inside the building, but now we're brought here and told this is the steering wheel?"**

Despite their doubts, they knew they had no choice. They had come all this way, and it was best to follow the instructions. Reluctantly, they each took a carrot rod(Carrot fishing rod) and stepped onto the pigs that had been led into a wide-open field.

As they mounted the pigs, they immediately sensed that these pigs were different—faster, more alert, almost like riding a small vehicle rather than a simple farm animal.

The pigs, adorned with saddles, responded instantly to their commands, darting into a tunnel at an incredible speed. The wind whipped past their faces, and the distant sound of the system's reminder echoed: **"Remember to replace the carrot rod when it's almost time!"**

Panic and amazement washed over the Neon players as they experienced the speed firsthand. They had never seen such swift pigs before, and their initial discomfort gradually turned into awe.

**"How is this even possible?!"** one player exclaimed, holding onto the pig for dear life.

**"This pig is faster than a car!"** another shouted, eyes wide with shock.

**"If only we had these pigs back home, we wouldn't need to walk or take the subway anymore!"**

After about half an hour of rapid travel through the tunnel, they reached the end, their faces flushed from the speed.

**"Put the carrot rod away!"** the Chinese-speaking player advised, recalling the last phrase he had heard.

As soon as the carrot rod was withdrawn, the pigs slowed to a stop. The players dismounted cautiously, still feeling the adrenaline from the ride.

Ken, waiting patiently outside, greeted them with a friendly smile.

**"How was it? Did they survive the ride?"**

The Neon players nodded, still somewhat stunned.

**"They're faster than anything we've ever seen. It's like flying on a pig!"** one said, grinning.

Ken nodded knowingly.

**"That's the power of our modified pigs. Here, they're a treasure—use them wisely."**

The players followed Ken as he led them to a nearby building. They noticed the elaborate cityscape ahead—brightly lit, lively, bustling with NPC traders and other players.

**"Is this your main city?"** one Neon player asked, eyes wide with amazement.

Ken chuckled.

**"Not the main city, but the home of our guild leader, Steve. This land belongs to him. And trust me, this is just a part of what we've built."**

The scene overwhelmed the visitors. They stared in awe at the sprawling architecture, the vibrant market stalls, and the lively crowds. It was more magnificent than they had imagined—so much so that they couldn't help but think that Xiao Ai's description had been understated.

Ken saw their reactions and smiled proudly.

**"This is our guild's territory—our base of operations. And soon, it will be even bigger."**

As they moved deeper into the city, Neon players couldn't help but marvel at the prosperity around them. The streets were filled with vendors shouting about fresh bread, wool, and mining supplies—an atmosphere of thriving commerce.

They exchanged glances, filled with admiration and longing. Their minds were already racing with how to please Steve, eager to earn favor and secure a better future in this thriving world.

Their journey had only just begun, but their hearts were already set on making their mark in this land of endless opportunity.
