"Okay so we have two questions," Aether says sitting beside Kunikuzushi in the library and opening his notes, "So why not each of us do one question?"
"Or," Kunikuzushi looks at Aether mischievously, "We can solve both questions to get different points of views."
"Honestly speaking, that's good too but we only have a week so we have to hurry or just do it my way." Aether says and Kunikuzushi nods dazed, he thought Aether would not even agree to his proposal.
"Let's jot down our interpretations and discuss tomorrow?" Kunikuzushi questioned.
"Okay," Aether agrees and opens up the light novel to read. Kunikuzushi decides to get done with the novel as well so that he can discuss it with Aether tomorrow.
They silently read together, the atmosphere pleasant despite their history. Kunikuzushi feels that this was not too bad, he can get used to it.
He peeks at Aether, he was lost in his novel, his eyes focused and his posture relaxed.
He was wearing his hair in a ponytail today, which made him look more attractive than he already was.
"Ponytail suits you." Kunikuzushi blurted out before he could stop himself.
"What?" Aether looked up, a puzzled expression on his face telling that he didn't hear.
"Are you fukin deaf?" Kunikuzushi scowled and rushed to leave before he could make a fool of himself.

The next day, Kunikuzushi decided to not be an asshole to the poor guy and decided to go sit beside him in the lecture hall. He was met with Aether's surprised face and Xiao's scowl as he sat beside them.
"Hey," he said to Aether with an expression which made it look like he was being forced to sit with them. Seeing this Aether commented,
"You don't have to sit with me just because we are doing this project together you know."
"Just tell me you hate me, you don't have to be so polite." Kunikuzushi said while getting back up.
"No wait," Aether held him by his sleeve and let go as soon as Kunikuzushi glared at him, 'Fuck hes cute' Kunikuzushi screamed internally.
"Uhh.. I don't hate you or anything." he started biting his lip again, "You can sit here."
Kunikuzushi sat back down without any comment, he doesn't want to screw this up again so shutting his mouth is better.
The whole lecture, Kunikuzushi just couldn't keep his eyes to himself and kept glancing at the guy, fuck him and his taste in men. Kunikuzushi was a mess inside, 'is this the type I like? He's cute? What the fuck are you thinking Kuni? Yes he's fukin adorable and his eyes are so mesmerizing and I wanna touch his hair real bad but what in the world is wrong with you and your potty mouth? Can you stop being so mean to the poor guy? I should have socialized more…'
Just as he was thinking this, he witnessed something he was better off not knowing. Xiao grabbed the pen out of Aethers hand and a pink hue decorated Aethers cheeks.
"You've got to be kidding me." Kunikuzushi thought out loud.
"Hmm?" Aether looked at him questingly, the pink still on his cheeks, Kunikuzushi thinks he looked ethereal like this. He's a dumbass for thinking that Aether looks beautiful with a blush that's not even for him but someone else.
"Nothing," Kunikuzushi scoffed. He feels weird, as if the air has run out of oxygen.

"Okay so, I have noticed that throughout the story, the personality of the narrator is jumping between ID and Superego." Aether explains "And her Ego is just there, because the other personalities are extremely dominating, so it doesn't really have a chance to interfere."
"Never in my life I thought that I would agree 100% with your perspective on the first try." Kunikuzushi is pleasantly surprised as he himself came to the same conclusion when reading the novel.
"And I didnt think you would ever agree with me." Aether chuckles.
"Good for us I guess," Kunikuzushi said nonchalantly scribbling on the notes before him.
They should have waited before celebrating because the chaos ensued later on.
"Poetry should be a bit simple as it is written for common people to understand." Kunikuzushi commented.
"Poetry is something that should be appreciated even if the reader doesn't relate to it" Aether disagreed, "because there's always something a reader takes away from poetry; it can be a lesson, motivation or simply pleasure."
"But how would someone understand the lesson when you cannot even understand those words?" Kunikuzushi asked, feeling a bit agitated.
"What I am saying is that we should not expect poetry to simple," Aether comes and sits beside Kunikuzushi, opening up his notes in hopes of making Kunikuzushi understand, "Look at these two poems." he points.
Aether passes the notes to Kunikuzushi and leans in, pen in his hand to point at the poems. He smells amazing, he is so close that Kunikuzushi does nothing but stare at his mesmerizing golden eyes.
"Now you got it?" Aether asks, leaning back to his own chair.
"Huh?" Kunikuzushi says dumbly and is met with disapproving hazel eyes.
"Huh?" Aether mockes him back in a high pitched voice, "Don't huh me, did you even listen to anything I said."
"My voice is not like that!" Kunikuzushi says feeling offended.
"So you only listen to what you wanna hear?" Aether said, rolling his eyes.
"Hey," Xiao interrupts their bickering, taking a seat beside Aether. Kunikuzushi instantly notices a faint blush on Aethers face as he greets back and for some odd reason, he just cannot stand it so he decides to end the session for today and gets up to leave.
"Where are you going?" Aether asks him, "We are not done yet!"
"I agree with what you said," Kunikuzushi gives up, "I'll do it the way you told me to."
Both Aether and Xiao stare at his retreating back with stunned expression as Kunikuzushi is not the one to agree this easily with anyone.
