In a broken-down shed there was a boy sleeping on a pile of hay. The boy was tossing and turning in his sleep. Then suddenly there was a loud thud on the door, waking the boy up.
"What was that?" Questioned the boy as he rubbed his eyes.
As soon as he looked around, the boy notices that he wasn't in his room. He started having hundreds of questions running through his mind. But suddenly he has a massive headache, and he receives the memory of a boy named Shin. After the pain goes away, he realized he had become Shin from the anime Kingdom.
"How did I even get here? I don't remember getting hit by a truck or struck by lightning." Thought Shin.
Ding. Host has been found please complete first mission to activate system...
Ding. Mission: Accept Piao request before he dies. Reward: Activated System. Failure: Host will become a cripple and continue being a servant...
"Wait, couldn't I still pretend to be the main character?" Ask Shin but he didn't get a response. "Well, I should complete the mission before Piao dies"
Shin went over to the door and opened it. He saw a boy in a red robe laying down and cover in blood.
"Hey Shin, I'm home," said the boy.
When Shin saw the boy, he felt his body seized up and he start to lose control of his emotions. He realized he didn't take over Shin's body but merge with Shin's soul. So, he is Shin and Shin is him. Shin rush over to the boy but he knew there nothing he can do to save him.
"Piao!!!" Shouted Shin
The shouting woke up Shin's chief family and they rush out. When they saw Piao cover in wound they back up in panicked.
"Piao, what happened to you?" Ask the chief
"The king's brother, he started an uprising..." Piao continue to tell the story about want to happen in the capital.
"You should just leave me" said Piao but was cut off by Shin "You know I can't do that"
"It's good to see you in high spirits like always" said Piao then he reached for his ear and took out a piece of paper. "It's a map to Bay Village"
"Bay Village? Isn't that place a dangerous place full of criminals and murderers?" Ask the chief.
"Shin, I need you to follow this map. Please do it for me" said Piao
"I understand and I will do it," said Shin. He really wants to bring Piao with him, but he knew Piao will die soon.
"Shin, you have changed and become more mature" said Piao. He notices Shin isn't that lost kid who asked hundreds of questions. "Promise me you will fulfill our dream and become the strongest general"
"I promise, Piao" nodded Shin as his voice chokes.
"Thank you, Shin" said Piao as his head fell back and his lifeless eyes close shut.
"Piao!!"

Shin didn't pay attention to system notification and mourn the death of Piao. After digging a grave for Piao and he warned the chief about the assassin. Before he leaves for Bay Village, Shin left signs of him head to Bay Village so the assassin can chase him. Then he took off to Bay Village.
While running to Bay Village, Shin tries to access his system yelling out random stuff. Hey system... system activated...Status"
When Shin said "status" a blue screen pops up in front of Shin.

Shin tries to use the Dragon Spear but can't figure out how to use the system space. When he concentrated on the Spear his Sword disappeared, and the Dragon Spear appeared. He looks at the spear with awe. When holding the spear, he felt like it fitted to his size really will and he feel like he knows a set of spear arts.
When Shin got to the edge of Bay Village, he saw a group of men charging toward him with daggers and swords in their hand. Shin saw this and want to try out his new skill. So, he rushes toward the group of men with the Dragon Spear.
In the anime, it shows Shin only knocking out everyone that attacked him, but this Shin was going for the kill. In his previous life, Shin joins the military but later turn into a mercenary due to being betrayed by his allies. He been in and out of the battlefield and had kill many people.
When Shin got near the group, one of the men yells " Hey kid, give us everything you have, and we will leave you in one piece"
"Let's just kill him and then take everything" laughs another man but suddenly he felt a cold feeling on his neck. When he looks down, he saw a spear pierce through his neck and on the other end of the spear, he saw a 14 years old boy with a strong killing intent.
Shin pulled the spear out effortlessly and swipe the spear tip toward the next man's head. The man tried to dodge its, but it was coming too fast.

Another man went down. The group of man saw that 2 of them died instantly and try to scatter but Shin activated Musou Mode. He felt his body lighter and everything around him start to slow down.
Shin jump into the middle of the group and twirl his spear in a full circle hitting everyone in their vital points. One by one blood gush out their wound and everyone who attacked Shin fell down.
