Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 Yue~

BOOM!!

A sudden blast rang through the air—

followed by the thunderous roar of cannon fire.

BOOM!!

The door exploded into splinters.

Everyone turned toward the sound.

Through the massive hole now blown in the wall, a large, round man with purple hair stood grinning.

It was Wapol—the former king of this country.

He'd chased Luffy and the others all the way to Drum Island after suffering a humiliating defeat at sea.

"MOOHAHAHAHA! Get out here, or I'll blow this whole house to bits!" Wapol roared.

Weir frowned slightly at the sight of him.

Why did this idiot show up so quickly?

This wasn't part of the plan.

Luffy's injuries weren't healed yet.

Sanji was still badly hurt.

And Chopper… wasn't ready to fight someone like Wapol alone.

The idea was to treat Luffy and Sanji first—then let the Straw Hats take care of Wapol.

But now, with an enemy at their doorstep, time was slipping away.

Weir's mind raced.

He recalled seeing a bruise medicine in the system shop earlier—

something that might help treat Sanji's injuries quickly.

Luffy? His wounds were more severe, and Weir didn't have enough system currency to buy the higher-tier healing items for him.

So, the only option?

Heal Sanji.

Gain his kicking technique through negative points.

Combine it with Chopper's leg enhancements.

Boom—combat strength skyrockets.

But for now, Chopper would have to stall Wapol.

Just as Weir was considering his options, Luffy stood up.

"That guy's really asking for it—he broke the doctor's door! I'm gonna punch him into next week!"

Luffy stormed toward the entrance.

BOP!

Nami punched him on the head.

"OWWW!! Why'd you hit me!?"

"IDIOT! Look at your feet! Are you trying to DIE?!" Nami shouted, furious.

Only then did Luffy feel it—the sharp, searing pain in his leg where the bones were exposed.

"AAARGH!! It hurts! It hurts! Why didn't I notice it earlier?! Doctor, help me—I'm dying!!"

Luffy limped toward Weir dramatically.

BOOM! BOOM!

Wapol had arrived—

He was now at the doorway, his giant round head chomping at the wall like a maniac.

With powerful bites, he devoured entire sections of the building.

"HOW DARE YOU EAT THE DOCTOR'S WALL!!"

Luffy yelled as he launched a Gomu Gomu no… Headbutt! straight at Wapol's gut.

CRACK!

But the second the punch landed—

Agonizing pain shot up from Luffy's broken hand.

"AAAAHHH MY KNUCKLES!!"

He crumpled in pain, hugging his hand.

"If you keep flailing around like that, you'll lose more than just your hand," Weir warned sternly.

Luffy's injuries were no joke—

His upper body was practically wrecked.

And yet the idiot still tried to fight.

"BUT HE'S DESTROYING YOUR HOUSE!"

Luffy protested.

Wapol was still chewing down the wall like it was a buffet.

Bits of bricks and plaster flew everywhere.

"Chopper! Go stall him! I'll be right behind you!"

Weir commanded.

Chopper didn't hesitate.

He transformed into his reindeer form and rushed toward Wapol, ready to hold him off.

Weir turned away and quickly opened the system store.

There it was:

Item: Bruise Medicine

Price: 500 points

Effect: Heals bruises instantly.

Side Effect: User becomes temporarily hideous.

(Warning: Lasts for an unspecified period of time)

500 points.

Weir winced.

That was half his stash.

But it was the only option.

He purchased the medicine and immediately kicked Sanji—who was spectating casually—onto the floor.

"Don't move! I'm treating your waist injury!"

Sanji, who had been annoyed at first, quickly understood the urgency.

He figured if Weir was choosing to treat him first, it meant he was their best shot at taking Wapol down.

Without hesitation, Sanji pulled up his shirt, revealing a massive bruise on his side.

Weir opened his med kit and pulled out the bottle of bruise medicine.

And that's when it happened.

The moment Sanji saw the bottle—

his face turned pale.

"Wh… what the hell is that…?"

Inside the bottle floated what looked like rotting vegetable soup—

murky green liquid with soggy leaves swirling inside.

As soon as Weir opened the lid, the stench hit like a truck.

A toxic wave of mold, socks, and expired seafood invaded the room.

"YUE~~!! EUGH~! COUGH—COUGH—YUEEEEE!"

Sanji gagged and dry-heaved violently.

As a chef, Sanji had encountered all kinds of disgusting ingredients—

But this… this was next level.

[Ding! Congratulations, host has gained 200 negative points.]

Weir blinked.

Huh? Why did I just get points? Is Sanji scared of the smell? Or the pain?

Confused but out of time, Weir poured the entire bottle of medicine onto Sanji's waist and began massaging it in.

[Ding! Congratulations, host has gained 500 negative points.]

Wait, I earned it all back already?!

Weir was stunned—until he looked at Sanji's expression.

Sanji was trembling, face contorting in horror, nausea bubbling in his throat.

The rotten leaves were sticking to his back like glue, squishing with every rub.

It felt like a decaying swamp was growing on his skin.

He puked. Again.

From Weir's point of view, though, the bruises were fading rapidly.

The medicine was working… and fast.

But just as Weir was about to finish the treatment—

He noticed something strange.

Sanji's face—

It was starting to change.

And not in a good way…
