"Did I tell you to stick up for me!" Sunny chastised him, she reprimanded him for a few more moments before she inevitably fell silent, "Why am I even wasting my breath, you won't even listen to me."
Will snorted before he quickly turned his attention towards Caster who was chatting with the crowd, 'My years as a Master have refined my skills, more than these snot nosed brats but I'm not strong enough to completely take down a Saint.
'I am more experienced than the average Ascended and could probably win but with difficulty as an Awakened, but against a Saint I'm not sure, I'm pretty sure that even if I was Saint myself I would lose miserably.'
Will clenched his hands unconsciously, 'I should find someone to teach me more about combat, preferably that Mongrel guy. He is quite strong and also highly skilled.'
Will knew about Mongrel as he had once faced him during a fight in Dreamscape. But he had no clues on how to find him, he remembered that Mongrel once appeared in Antarctica to save Falcon Scott from siege, 'Looks like I'm going to Antarctica, well that was my plan anyways.'
Will and Sunny soon extricated themselves from the crowd and moved towards the corner. Most of the tables were filled with people so they had to find their way to the one at the furthest corner.
The table had little to no attention placed on it, as Sleepers steered clear. Yet there was only one girl occupying it, she was a regal beauty with neat blonde hair and big blue eyes. She looked like a porcelain doll, her eyes were expressionless and empty.
Will knew who she was, Cassie the blind Seer of Sunny's cohort, rumours said that she could read attributes and peer into people's memories. Which Will thought was correct as she turned her head towards Sunny and silently observed her before turning her attention to Will.
Her eyes slightly dilated as a small breath escaped her lips, 'Did she understand that I'm a regressor?'
If she understood it, she didn't show any signs regarding it. Will gazed at her for a few moments as a smirk tugged his lips, but his plans were interrupted as a sharp voice echoed throughout the hall.
"I am Awakened Rock. Sleepers, welcome to the Awakened Academy."
Will glanced at the tall and bulky man, "People will know that you're gay if you keep on staring at him that hard, sweetie."
Sunny said with a snicker, Will turned to her as a playful smile appeared on his face, "Why don't I show you how gay I am tonight, sweetie." Will said as he placed his hands on Sunny's thigh and came close to her face.
Sunny reddened up before turning away, "I can't have fun with you, you know." Will suppressed a chuckle as he gave a nod.
Time passed by as Instructor Rock finished his boring speech.
"That is all for today, follow your communicators and find your assigned dormitory. After that you can come back to the cafeteria for some supper, then you'll have to attend your interview."
Will got a bit excited at the thought of food, he was starving since the day began, he hadn't even drunk a drop of water. He gazed at Cassia, he had heard from Sunny that she was a very formidable seer, Will wondered how she could get to her dorms before he pushed his thoughts to the back of his mind.
He lazily stretched out his arms, "Well I'm going to the dormitories, are you going to come with me?" Sunny asked him doubtfully, Will shook his head and turned to face her, "Not really I'm going to explore the Academy, maybe after that."
They parted ways as Will went exploring.
"..."
Will rested at the top of one of the Academy's watchtowers as he watched the red sun set slowly, its light slowly fading, causing shadows to disappear. He kicked his legs as he thoroughly enjoyed the scene, it was breathtaking.
After a few moments he put his hands in his pockets and brought out the communicator as he checked the time, after realising that he was slightly late. He pushed himself off the edge and sped away, his figure turning into a blur, the only thing that the cameras caught was red lightning.
Will arrived in the canteen as he instantly sped to the buffet and grabbed his plate, he quickly placed a ton of food on his plate which ranged from pizza to burgers.
As a speedster he had to consume a surplus of fifty thousand calories a day lest he wanted to turn into a stick figure. He waffed his food down and enjoyed the rich taste in his mouth.
It was worth waiting for, his decision to stray away from eating synthetic food was perfect.
After a few long minutes of constant eating, he went towards the large pallet of food arranged on the tables as he took a second serving, which was now bread, eggs, bacon, chicken, lobster and a juicy steak.
"Jesus Christ this is so good, my steak is too juicy and my lobster is so buttery." He said with ecstasy as he suppressed a moan.
His second round was soon devoured as he went back again to pick out his dessert, which was seven scoops of ice-cream, fifteen slices of cake and thirteen bars of chocolate.
Will loved chocolate, he would literally kill for it. No matter if it was in the garbage or not, he would pretty much eat it no matter what. It was literally the love of his life.
"Why are you so hungry, other than being pretty, what did you do?" Sunny came out of nowhere with a smirk on her face.
"At least I'm much prettier than you, and secondly my aspect makes me lose a lot of calories so I have to eat in a surplus."
Sunny hummed as she ate her own slice of bread and a small serving of pasta with red sauce.
After their dinner, they made their way to the office.
Soon, Will found himself in a small office which was painted white like Jesus himself was descending himself onto the material world.
The administrative worker sitting across from him was very friendly. He had a friendly smile and a neat uniform.
"Do you want to receive any psychological counseling? I understand it might've been difficult for you in the Nightmare, talking to someone else might help it."
He said with a sad and downcast face like he was feeling bad for him, Wally knew that this was all a facade and politely turned him down
He remained calm as he continued.
"Well then, do you mind telling me a bit about your Aspect? Is it combat, utility or sorcery?"
Will looked him in the eyes for a few moments as he answered his question, "It's nothing of the sort, it's something more advanced."
He seemed intrigued, "Do you mind sharing it? We want to classify this so that we can bridge our gap in knowledge. It might help us categorise other Sleepers."
Will shook his head which seemed to tick off the man before he hid it under a polite face once again.
"Well, do you have anything else you want to share with us?" He asked with a hint of depression and curiosity, seemingly to guilt trip him.
Will thought for a few minutes before he answered, "Well I do have one thing to share, it's my True Name, Monarch of Motion."
He jotted it down on his small notebook, "Hmm a True Name, WAIT DID YOU JUST SAY YOU GOT A TRUE NAME?"
They soon brought a specialist who confirmed his words as the interviewer screamed with joy, 'They probably get a commision for bringing in the information of Sleepers. This is going to be a big payday for him." Will slightly mocked him as he headed out to his dorm room.
It was situated in the far right corner, Will scanned his communicator as he opened the room. But instead of seeing a clean and empty room, he saw a woman.
She had long jet-black hair which fell to her shoulders, she had pale white skin and a skinny figure. Her body has droplets of water as her hair stuck to her wet skin as she was drying her hair.
'The fuck, this is really not going to end well is it.'
She saw him staring at her from the hallway as her eyes widened with a scream she threw the closer object to her—a lamp.
