The Forest of Tob
Brain and Dough were seen transversing the forest. Besides the goblins that would appear and the occasional wolves, nothing interesting have happened.
While they walk, they did not forget to collect the ears of the goblin and fangs of the wolves so that Dough could rank up. Also, he forgot to register Brain as an adventurer.
"Do you even know where this supposed 'Wise King of the Forest' is located?" Brain asked as he did an air quote, though Dough does not understand how Brain knows the air quote. It must be those past players who spreaded their cultures.
"I don't know exactly where the creature is located, but I do know it's close to Carne Village," Dough said as he randomly slashes at tree branches, bored out of his mind. He thought going into this place would bring him excitement, but he did not realize how boring it would be when nothing happen at all for over an hour.
The two then stumble upon a giant foot print, so they assumed this must be the creature's.
After 10 minutes of tracking, mostly done by Brain, the two stumble upon a wall of bushes waving back and forth. And there was a munching sound coming from it. When the two got closer, the munching stops, and then they heard giant footsteps coming towards them slowly, almost like the creature is intentionally trying to intimidate them.
Out of the bushes walked out a giant hamster, though the natives of this world did not know that, with berry juices on its face.
"What bring thou to thin feeding place," said the giant talking hamster.
"We were looking for you," Dough said as he steps back and let Brain take over, offering him a thumbs up.
"For trespassing into my territory, battle to the death, we shall," the hamster spoke as she, at least that's what Dough thought if he remembers correctly, prepares to swing her giant green tail.
Brain drew his katana and got serious, knowing this would be a tough battle. He doesn't know if Dough would have enough time to save him if he were to be in fatal danger, though the training with him helped immensely, and now it is time to see how much he improved.
"Prepare yourself warrior, for death you encounter," the creature said as she whips her tail at Brain and cracking the ground. The attack was so fast that Brain barely had time to move out of the way.
The animal then charges forward, trying to bash Brain, but Brain dodges out of the way and tried to counter. He slashes at her side, but she blocked it by moving faster than Brain could see and blocked it.
'Brain is losing, this is bad,' Dough thought.
'This might be cheating but…,'Dough thought as he started learning spells.
"Lesser Strength"
"Quick March"
"Lesser Dexterity"
Dough casted as he huffed Brain, making him glow in many colors briefly.
"Thanks," Brain said as he prepares his own martial arts.
"Martial Arts: Sense Weakness"
"Martial Arts: Ability Boost"
"Greater Ability Boost"
Brain used multiple martial arts in succession, hoping to bridge the gap between him and his opponent.
Brain dashes forward, striking at the hamster but she blocks it with her claws. They then went back and forth, exchanging blows for a few minutes. Suddenly, Brain had a sudden enlightenment. He felt like he is one with his katana.

Of course he would, even though it was probably only a high class, it was still better than the common ones.
The hamster lunges forward, but Brain saw this coming and dodges to the side.
"Martial Arts: Instantaneous Flash"
Brain said as he instantly appeared beside the hamster and slashes her side, drawing faint blood. Her hide is stronger than he thought. He should of been able to cut through iron armor easily, but this creature's hide is stronger than iron.
The two keep exchanging blows, but it is now clear that Brain has the advantage, pushing the hamster back and dealing more and more damage.
In the end, Brain won, even if he got some outside help, and he prepares to end the creature.
"Wait! Wait! Please don't kill me! I haven't procreated to pass on my traits yet! I'll be your servant, but please don't kill me!" The hamster yells as she keep frantically tries to beg for her life.
Brain looks back toward Dough, waiting for his order.
"Let's keep her, Brain. After all, we do need a mascot, and this will increase our reputation, possible allowing us to even rank up multiple time," Dough said. He didn't want to kill this creature, even though it would be good source of experience, but he could always get it from Brain. He needs his reputation to increase, he doesn't know exactly why, but he felt like it is important, and this creature, no, Hamsuke would allow that to happen.
