Chapter 259 - Pandora

The woman strode in and without hesitation, yanked down the zipper of her leather jacket, discarding it carelessly onto the table. Now clad only in a black sports tank top and tight black leather shorts, her voluptuous curves strained the fabric of her top. The deep cleavage carved between her alabaster peaks instantly overwhelmed Kerry's composure. Had Lin been present, his expression would surely have mirrored Kerry's.

With a cold, aloof demeanor, she crossed her arms and surveyed the stunned men before her. "First, allow me to introduce myself. I am Pandora, sent by Jason, the president of Victoria Company, to assist you in rescuing Xiao Feng." Her icy gaze swept over the group, dismissing them outright despite the presence of two formidable eighth-tier psychics. "But let me be clear—this isn't about me helping you. It's about you not dragging me down. Understand?"

Kerry, at a loss for words, suddenly rose and slowly approached Pandora. Taller by a head and impeccably dressed in a tailored suit, bearing the pride of being the second-largest shareholder of Brom Company and the son of Hebrew, he smiled charmingly as he teased, "Beautiful, what makes you think we'll help you? If you're truly capable, it's probably in bed. And once we get there, I doubt I'd stand a chance."

Everyone present was well aware of Kerry's nature. Pandora's haughty entrance had struck a nerve, inflaming the pride of every man in the room. As Kerry flirted provocatively, the others laughed with a mix of amusement and anticipation.

Yet Pandora's eyes remained ice-cold as she lifted her head to meet Kerry's gaze. Kerry, entranced, was staring unabashedly at her flawless, creamy curves—he even noticed that beneath her tank top, she wore no bra.

With a mocking smile, Pandora challenged him, "Like what you see?"

Kerry nodded, "Not bad..." so engrossed that he momentarily forgot the mission to save Xiao Feng.

"Mr. Kerry, if you persist with such insolence, don't blame me for losing patience. And this isn't a warning I'll repeat," Pandora's tone was as frigid as ever, devoid of any trace of emotion.

Suddenly, Kerry reached out, resting a hand on Pandora's shoulder. "Since you know me, you must have some understanding of who I am, so..." His fingers began to knead her shoulder, sensing the cool, slick texture beneath his palm.

But Pandora stepped back swiftly, wrenching free from his grip, then delivered a lightning-quick sidekick that struck Kerry's cheek and sent him sprawling to the floor.

Everyone was stunned—no one had anticipated such lightning speed. Kerry, with his evolved speed ability, was caught utterly off guard.

Moreover, Pandora's strength was formidable. Her blow knocked Kerry unconscious instantly.

Crossing her arms again, Pandora addressed the group coolly, "Anyone else care to test the power of my kick? Step forward."

The assembly stared at her in disbelief as she continued, "Let me reintroduce myself: I am Pandora, Victoria Company's latest robotic creation. So don't harbor any illusions about me—I don't harbor feelings for any of you humans."

Her revelation stunned them anew. That a goddess-like beauty such as Pandora was in fact a robot defied all comprehension.

Tugu, however, understood instantly and grew visibly excited. If Pandora was a robot, then he had gained a kindred spirit. Rising, he approached her and extended a hand, "Hello, I'm Tugu. Pleasure to meet you."

Pandora regarded Tugu, nodding, but did not shake his hand. "I know who you are. We could be considered alike, in a way. But I detest that rigid armor you wear—don't get any foolish ideas."

Taken aback, Tugu chuckled softly. "I assure you, I mean no harm. I only wish to be friends. Look at my body—what else could I want?" With a mechanical click, he opened his armor, revealing a myriad of embedded weapons. If one called him a robot, it wouldn't be entirely accurate—he was more like a walking arsenal.

Pandora examined his form, then said with a hint of pity, "So this is what you are... how tragic."

Rush interrupted their exchange sharply, "Tugu, don't forget we have to rescue Xiao Feng. Right now, we need to focus on how to save him—not flirt."

Tugu snapped back to attention; Xiao Feng was his savior, and he was determined to save him.

Pandora's voice cut through the tension, cold as ever: "Plans? Let me tell you—anyone who wants to come with me is welcome. If no one else does, I'll go alone."

Tugu immediately responded, "I'm going."

Pandora nodded, "Good. Let's go."

K and Rush rose together. "We'll come too."

Pandora glanced at them both, nodding reluctantly. "Fine."

As Rice and the others wished to follow, Pandora smiled faintly. "You level-four psychics stay here. We'll have to watch out for you, so just wait for our news."

Though awkward, Rice, Old White, and the others understood—storming the temple was beyond their capabilities.

Pandora, Tugu, K, and Rush made their way to a sleek black aircraft. The three stared in astonishment at the plane, shaped like a slender black dagger, its silhouette gleaming exquisitely under the sunset's glow.

Pandora donned her leather jacket once more, zipped it up, and addressed those behind her: "This is Victoria Company's most advanced aircraft. It can reach speeds up to fourteen times the speed of sound."

Tugu's eyes widened. "Fourteen times the speed of sound? You're not joking?"

"Want to experience it?"

All four boarded the aircraft, greeted by two rows of plush sofas and an interior of exquisite luxury.

Even the worldly-wise K was impressed by the lavish decor. Pandora took the pilot's seat, donned her headset, then turned to the others. "There's champagne in the fridge—help yourselves. We're preparing for takeoff."

The black dagger-like craft slowly lifted off the tarmac. Under the warm, amber hues of the setting sun, it shot westward with sudden velocity.

In a flash beneath the glowing sky, the sleek black aircraft vanished from sight...
