As shin looked around all he could see was an uneven land and red sky with crimson moon, and strange feeling of danger all around him " where the hell am I , and what is this land , it seems as if I am in fantasy world , well to be clear an dark fantasy world , instead of beautiful, peaceful world , this feels very dangerous as if I will die any second if i am not carefull of my sorroundings.
As shin inspected his body, his body felt like that he was in strangers body " what is with this body , well there is nothing to compare my height with but I feel that I am a little bit taller , and my skin tone is also not the same I am little more fairer and if I could see my face my suspicion will be confirmed " .
As shin was inspecting his body and sorroundings his body sensed danger , and to confirm this feeling a sound came from behind.
Shin moved to see what was behind.
There was an centipede approaching him but it was not an normal centipede , it skin was as if it was made from red rock , and there were craks in its skin through which fire was flowing .
It gave an very dangerous vibe to shin, maybe it was first time in his life that shin felt such danger.
And a strange feeling of fear , fear of dying.
"This feeling , this fear it's telling me to run for my life ".
Shin started running , running very fast
He might have not ran that fast in his whole life , but now he broke that limit and ran like never before
It maybe due to running to save his life or due to this new strange body that shin was able to run so fast
But that centipede was just behind him , even if shin just slowed down for a second , that centipede will catch up to him
" I never thought in my whole life that I will be running for my life like this , in my previous world I didn't think that much about living or dying , but this strange world I want to explore this world , I want to live "
Shin ran for his life , but due to this terrain , sometimes he have to jump , this land was very eneven .
Land was very rough and bumpy , sometimes there were little pit in the ground .
Shin was having very hard time running in this ground , but that centipede had many legs due to which it was easily running .
It was his home ground so it was obvious that centipede can easily run in this ground , and it was just a matter of time that shin would be swallowed by it.
Huff Huff Huff, shin was exhausted " i am out of breath , my legs are burning , and my heart is beating as if it would explode"but despite that exhaustion he did not stop running .
that centipede was also not faring much better, even if it may be resident of this magical world , everyone get exhausted , and these cracks in its body they were not natural , it may have been in fight with some other creature before coming to shin.
Shin was always ahead and that centipede was always behind , despite their exhausted state both were not giving up , their body may be in bad state but their wills were not wavering , both were running for their life , one has to run so he would not die from being eaten other has to run so he would not die from hunger.
"I can't run forever , there is no destination for me to reach , there is no safe point here , either I die from exhaustion or by being eaten by that thing behind me".
Shin knew his circumstances clearly that today death was invetiable , " the only choice that have possibility of surviving is the most stupid one ".
Shin knew if he continued to run he would die from exhaustion and hunger ,and now only choice is to " i gave to fight with that thing, death is invetiable today , so I will die trying atleat it will be prideful death ".
Shin stopped running and turned sideways , centipede charged at him , but shin just barely doged him.
That centipede was no doubt fast but it's reflex were little slow.
Centipede faced towards him , and with a little burst charged at him , this time faster than other .
Shin barley evaded that attack , but one of its mandible scrahed his hand .
" Ahhhh, this is burning " that injury centipede did to shin , it was burning like hell.
This time shin did not give it any chance
And hit it's back with his first , well it did not damage .
Centipede without turning back whippied it's half body at shin , and with that impact shin's body flew from ground and hit a nearby rock making little cracks in it
quickly shin stood up , blood was flowing from his mouth , and he was in very much pain .
But he did not have any time to even suffer as that centipede was running towards him
