Synopsis
Leo lives for the thrill—cocky smirks, quick flings, and nights blurred with neon lights and liquor. But when a quiet, mysterious waiter interrupts his usual game, something shifts. There’s something in the man’s gaze—too calm, too knowing. Like he’s seen through Leo before. Like he remembers a version of him no one else does. Their worlds crash in a haze of tension and half-buried memories, pulling Leo toward questions he’s spent years outrunning. Who is this man… and why does it feel like he's the only one who truly sees him? "Maybe you're really just a star beyond reach—someone whom my hands couldn't cradle and touch once more." In the collision of past and present, desire and denial, Leo must face the one truth he fears the most: Some stars were never meant to be held.

Chapter 1 - Did you miss me?

I stared over the man at the counter, the drink in my hand already turning warm. The lights flickered above like stars on speed, and the music pulsed louder than my heartbeat.

The LED lights flickered across the dance floor and people began to groove. The music through the large speakers continued to wash over me.

I faced the girl beside me.

"I can't believe you're drunk already, Leo." She said and stared at my eyes, then slowly down to my lips.

A smirk tugged my lips. "Well, I can be pretty drunk when a pretty girl like you is in front of me." I blurted and she giggled.

'Clang'

Someone placed a glass on the table, making a sound. I looked up to who it is, the colorful lights continued to flicker behind him--making my vision too bright to see his face clearly.

"Sir, here's your drink." His voice echoed through me and made my eyebrows furrowed.

"You." I pointed at him. "You really have to ruin the mood, huh?" My eyes went down his broad shoulders and noticed him wearing a white polo under a black blazer.

A feminine voice beside me "Uh, Leo. He's the waiter, of course he'll serve--"

I shoved an arm off me and stood up.

"Hey, Leo, don't make a fuzz!" The girl beside me interrupted again--but my eyes stayed on the man in front of me.

"Jealous that I have a pretty girl with me?" I said, sharply looking at him and grabbing his collar.

I heard the music died down slowly, making my mind go flying than before.

"What are you gonna do? Steal her from me?"

"No, Sir." His deep-rich voice echoed clearly through the music. My eyebrows furrowed again. "Not her."

"Why...." I looked at his narrow eyes, colored in hazelnut hues.

"Hm?" I clenched his collar tighter, sharply stared at him as he stared at mine. His eyes were calm, staring into mine.

I noticed his pupils dilating.

"Leo--"

I pushed him away, my eyes widening at the strange familiar feeling. The lights died down behind him and his face became clearer in sight.

A smirk formed on his lips as my mouth parted.

"Did you miss me..." His voice echoed like a broken mixtape. He leaned closer, feeling a large hand on my back. My ear tingled at his breath fanning over.

"Liahree?"
