As they walked away from the lockers, Liam couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched. He glanced around but saw nothing out of the ordinary.
Allison seemed to sense his tension. She turned to him and faltered
"Hey, are you okay?" she asked, her voice soft.
Liam made an affirmative nod.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little spooked, I guess."
Allison's eyes locked onto his. "You think that guy was serious, don't you?" she asked.
Liam hesitated a bit before giving out his reply
"I don't know, but I'm not going to take any chances. I'll make sure you're safe, okay?"
Allison smiled, her eyes welling up with tears. "Thanks, Liam. That means a lot to me."
As they continued walking, Liam's mind was racing.
" Who was that guy, and what did he want with Allison? And what did he mean by his cryptic message?
Liam was determined to find out. He would uncover the truth, no matter what it took, that was his thought since the whole beginning.
As they approached Allison's locker, Liam noticed something strange. There was a piece of paper stuck between the metal slats.
Liam's eyes narrowed. "Allison, look at this."he muttered as he pointed to the piece of paper.
Allison walked over to her locker with her eyes scanning the area.
"What is it?" she asked with a curious gaze
Liam pulled out the piece of paper. It was a note, written in messy handwriting.
"Meet me at the old warehouse at 5 pm," the note read. "Come alone."
Liam's eyes locked onto Allison's.
"What do you think this means?" he asked, sounding a little scared
Allison's face was pale. "I don't know, but I think it's connected to my dad's troubles."
Liam's grip on the note tightened. "We'll go to the warehouse, but we won't go alone. We'll take Jake and Emily with us."
Allison nodded with her eyes, welling up with tears. "Thanks, Liam. I don't know what I would do without you."
As they stood there, holding hands and looking at the note, Liam knew that he would do anything to protect Allison.
But as they walked away from the locker, Liam couldn't shake off the feeling that they were being watched. He glanced around but saw nothing out of the ordinary.
Still, the feeling persisted.
Liam's mind was racing. Who was behind the mysterious note, and what did they want with Allison?
Allison seemed to sense his tension.
"Hey, are you okay?," she asked again with her voice softer.
Liam nodded.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just trying to figure out what's going on."
Allison's eyes locked onto his. "I'm scared, Liam. I don't know what's happening or who's behind it."
Liam's grip on her hand tightened. "I'm here for you, Allison. We'll figure this out together."
As they approached the school entrance, Liam spotted Jake and Emily waiting for them.
"Hey, guys," Jake said, his eyes scanning the area. "What's going on?"
Liam filled them in on the mysterious note and the suspicious guy.
Jake's eyes narrowed. "We need to get to the bottom of this. Let's go to the warehouse and see what we can find."
Emily nodded. "I'm in. Let's do this."
Liam smiled, feeling a sense of determination. "Alright, let's go."
As they walked to the warehouse, Liam's mind was racing. What would they find there? And who was behind the mysterious note?
A few minutes later, after they had gone out of the school, they all met at the agreed spot and set off to the warehouse.
warehouse loomed before them, a large, abandoned building on the outskirts of town.
Liam's eyes scanned the area, his senses on high alert. "Alright, let's go in." He commanded
As they entered the warehouse, Liam's eyes adjusted to the dim light. The air was musty and filled with the scent of decay.
Suddenly, Liam heard a noise. It sounded like footsteps, echoing off the walls.
Liam's grip on Allison's hand tightened. "Do you hear that?" he whispered.
Allison nodded, her eyes wide with fear.
As they moved deeper into the warehouse, the footsteps grew louder. Liam could feel his heart pounding in his chest.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows.
Liam's eyes locked onto the figure, his mind racing. Who was this person, and what did they want with Allison?
The figure stepped forward, its features becoming clearer in the dim light.
Liam's eyes widened in shock. It was a woman with long, curly hair and a kind face.
But as Liam looked into her eyes, he saw something that made his blood run cold.
A glint of recognition.
This woman knew Allison.
And she knew Liam.
The woman's eyes locked onto Allison's, and Liam saw a flicker of emotion there. It was a mixture of sadness and longing.
"Allison," the woman whispered with her voice barely audible. "It's been so long."
Allison's eyes widened in shock, and she took a step back. "M-Mom?" she stuttered.
Liam's eyes widened in surprise. This woman was Allison's mom?
The woman nodded, a smile spreading across her face. "Yes, baby. It's me."
But as Liam looked at Allison's mom, he saw something that didn't add up. She seemed...off. Her eyes seemed sunken, and her skin was pale.
"What's going on?" Liam asked, his voice firm. "Why are you here?"
Allison's mom hesitated, her eyes darting around the room. "I...I came to warn Allison," she said. "She's in danger."
Liam's grip on Allison's hand tightened. "What kind of danger?" he demanded.
Allison's mom took a deep breath. "I'll tell you everything," she said. "But first, we need to get out of here. We're not safe."
As she spoke, Liam heard a noise. It sounded like footsteps, echoing off the walls.
Liam's eyes locked onto Allison's mom. "Who's coming?" he asked.
Allison's mom's eyes widened in fear.
"It's them," she whispered. "They've found us."
Suddenly, the warehouse door burst open, and a group of men rushed in. They were big and burly, with menacing scowls on their faces.
Liam's instincts kicked in. He pushed Allison behind him, his eyes locked onto the men.
"What do you want?" Liam demanded.
The men didn't answer. Instead, they charged at Liam and Allison and the other two
Liam's heart was racing. He knew they had to get out of there, fast.
He grabbed Allison's hand, and they ran.
They sprinted through the warehouse, dodging crates and leaping over obstacles. The men were hot on their heels, their footsteps pounding the ground.
Liam's lungs were burning, but he didn't dare look back. He knew they had to keep running.
All of a sudden, they saw a glimmer of light. It was a door, partially hidden by a stack of crates.
Liam yanked the door open, and they tumbled out into the night air.
They didn't stop running until they were blocks away from the warehouse.
Finally, they slowed to a stop, gasping for breath.
Liam's eyes locked onto Allison's. "Are you okay?" he asked.
Allison nodded, her eyes wide with fear. "Y-yes," she stuttered.
Liam's grip on her hand tightened. "We're not going to let them hurt you," he said. "I promise."
As they stood there, catching their breath, Liam knew that he would do anything to protect Allison. He would fight to the death to keep her safe.
