Chapter 1
Whitney whose life was school perfect and home imperfect. Her dad abandoned her and her mom six years ago for a rich woman to leave their contended life.Whiney was just eight years old when the separation occured.No one knows anything about the real ordeal of her parents separation.
After the separation her mom took her to Maldives to escape the taunts of people in Coastal city.
'Mom am leaving ' came Whitney's voice from sitting room
'no young lady not today again, what's wrong with you this week? this is the second time u're leaving without breakfast,not again today' Megan Whitney's mom said. 'but mom' Whitney's whined . 'no buts and ifs today, at least take it with you ' Megan said
' fine am taking it's Whitney said
' Um, mom can I get a hundred bucks, please pretty please ' Whitney asked
Megan just looked at her daughter without saying anything she reached for her purse and gave her the money she asked for
Whitney kissed her mom goodbye not without thanking her for the money
Whitney knew days has been hard for them but her mom made sure she doesn't look out of place amongst her mate
In Maldives everyone thought her Dad is always on a business trip that why they haven't seen him for once, Whitney closest friend Sharlene had asked about her Dad but she would always reply he's okay without anymore word
On getting to the bus stop she met a class mate of hers who obliged to help her get to school, she was happy that the hundred bucks her mom gave her would be saved
As Whitney got down from the bike she breathe in nervously in thought day saying the day go without an encounter the school Barbies Mandy, Ollie and Sabrina. She sighed in relieve since she died bump into them as usual.
The morning class was going on smoothly until the principal walks into their classroom with elegance, trolling behind her was a boy
' good morning students ' comes the principal sweet strict voice which gained the attention of class more
' good morning ma'am ' chorused the class
' this is a newly transferred student, he's going to be ur class mate,' Mr Zonas am leaving him into ur care now a I have other things to attend to, have a nice day you all' she said striding out of the class
You can say the principal's elegance is what Whitney admire the most.
' can you kindly introduce yourself' Mr Zonas urged
' good morning, am Adrain Mathew, hope am welcomed ' Adrain said briefly
' what u're Andrew Mathew, the son of the most wealthiest man in Maldives ' a classmate shouted and the student begin to murmur
Adrain just shrugged as the teacher ushered him to on the empty sit next Whitney
After being settled next to Whitney , she said hello which he looked at her with scrutiny in his eyes .
Whitney didn't say anything further cause she knew that's he's nothing compared to him
After the that the rest of the morning class went smoothly, during lunch Whitney had to go to the cafeteria alone since Britney is not in school because caught fever last night because o the heavy rain, she bumped into the wall she waited to see blood oozing out , oblivious to her she didn't know it was Adrain.
' are blind can't you look ahead when walking ' she look up bewildered realizing that the chest in which she bumped into was Adrain's chest instead of a wall
She quickly apologized but Adrain hissed and walk away
Whitney wanted to cursed at him but realized that she was the one at fault not the later.
