Apart from hunting the Yeti, most of Liam's time was spent on evacuation missions, and then during every spare moment he had, he would focus on searching different areas throughout Detroit, hoping to find any trace of Yaela.
The Mystery Box in his inventory, much like the previous one, could not be opened until he reached a certain level, and this particular box required him to be Level 7. He had gained it randomly after completing a daily quest within the past few days, and somehow it felt like the system was trying to reward him for all the challenges it had put his body through.
"Now where should I put these stats?" he said to himself, his gaze wandering over his character sheet. Then a thought struck him—maybe if I had more points in perception, I would have been able to sense when Yaela was being taken.
He sighed and then with that in mind, he allocated all his available stat points to PRC, hoping that if something like that ever happened again, he would be ready.
