"You little freak! What the fuck is this!?" Aslan said with an unbelievable tone as he flipped through the pages of Helena's BL fanfiction starring him and Remington.
"It's nothing! I swear, it's nothing!" Melodie cried out, his cheeks covered in tears.
"Nothing? You dare lie to us?" Remington's chilling voice caused Melodie's spine to tingle with terror. In his own hand was a camera filled with his photos taken unaware.
Under the open starless night sky with a slim crescent moon, the two tall handsome guys towered over a kneeling and pitifully sobbing Melodie in the Gifted Academy's training arena.
"Oh God, please save me!" Melodie covered his face with his hands and prayed for supernatural intervention.
Only the heavens could save him from this unfortunate calamity that had befallen him today.
"What God? After doing such nasty things, you still have the effrontery to pray to God?" Aslan's tone hinted at amusement but the frightening expression on his devilishly handsome face indicated fury.
Melodie put down his hands and said in between sniffles, "Believe me, none of those things belong to me. I have never in my life had any disgusting thoughts about the two of you. I swear upon this honorable academy."
Melodie swore on the academy instead of his own life because he was lying. The camera in Remington's hand was bought with his allowance savings of five months!
And the fanfiction book in Aslan's hand, though it did not belong to him, most of the contents in the story sprouted from his wonderfully imaginative mind.
"You swear upon the academy? Rem, are you listening to this kid? He not only dares to lie to us, he swears falsely in the name of the academy, too. Such a person is irredeemable." Aslan's reddish-amber eyes glowed with villainy as a ball of flame ignited in his palm.
Melodie's heart palpitated fearfully, horror engulfing his insides.
This was it! He was doomed! He was going to die here today for daring to ship two powerful male gods!

Three hours earlier:
"Helena, you're wasting time! They've probably started training by now!" Melodie Pever, newly-admitted student of the Gifted Academy, raised his voice in annoyance at his best friend, Helena Fischer.
Helena, who was busy packing snacks into her bag, lifted her head and said, "Stop yelling. You're the one who always complains about being hungry while watching the class. Now that I'm stocking up with snacks, you dare to complain?"
Melodie's face scrunched up at Helena's pointed words. It wasn't his fault that he got hungry when watching hot men battle for their lives, okay?
"Ugh, just be faster. I don't want to miss any Aston CP moment…" Melodie's brown eyes twinkled with glee as a silly smile formed on his childish face.
Aston stood for Aslan x Remington—his two favorite male gods. They were more than his favorite male gods, they were his idols and reason to live.
It was because of them that he applied to Gifted Academy, famed for honing extraordinary talents, fully knowing that he was talentless without the abilities of an Esper or a Guide.
Espers were humans born with supernatural abilities that granted them the power to conquer dungeons—Earth's greatest flaw.
Dungeons being the gateway to other dangerous dimensions that materialized randomly and caused great devastation if not handled properly. Conquering them wasn't an easy task, and it exerted great mental and physical power from Espers.
Only Guides had the ability to help Espers regain stability after getting driven to a rampage state caused by extreme exertion of one's abilities.
Espers and Guides were the hotcakes of society who were well sought-after for simply being amazing. And those who graduated from Gifted Academy were even more beloved by the world.
The only way someone as untalented as Melodie was able to get into Gifted Academy was because he had used a backdoor.
His father, Jackson Pever, was a famous dungeon analyst and had paid Melodie's way into the academy, believing that his son had the ambition to work hard and become an upstanding citizen of Vinn Country after graduating.
The sweet man had no idea that he had led Melodie on the smoothest path to continue his perverse hobbies.
Now that Melodie was a student of Gifted Academy, he could spy on his male gods with ease and comfort. Not to mention that there were other fine specimens at the school to add to his collection of idols.
"Alright, I'm done. Let's head out." Helena said, zipping her bag tight and slinging the straps over her shoulders.
Melodie nodded. They were in Helena's room at the females hostel since it was closer to the training area. It was from here they set off almost every day for the past three weeks since they gained admission into the academy.
Their goal for tonight was to spy on their male gods who had night classes. As S-Class Esper students, Remington and Aslan's school schedules were really hectic and consisted of brutal night classes.
Melodie could only get a glimpse of his idols on Monday, Thursday, and Friday nights where they attended a battle royale style class for their second year Class 1 training in the evening.
He and Helena would hide in the seats at the arena and watch as their idols cleared their classmates and even themselves at times! In this special edition of stalking, they would get to see their idols sometimes take off their shirts to reveal their glistening abs.
Or even throw snarky comments at each other, which Melodie believed to be their own way of 'flirting'.
You see, Melodie believed the two guys were secretly in love and were the protagonists of a BL story. One could wield ice and was a stickler for rules, the other could manipulate fire and lived recklessly. They were also fierce rivals!
An astounding example of opposite attracts they were.
Melodie and Helena soon arrived at the training arena and discreetly found viewing seats for the ongoing show. They sat far from the field itself and pitched mid-center at the peak of the bleachers in the arena.
Once fully settled, Helena took out their high-tech binoculars that had an incredible zooming function. Melodie collected his and began to use it without delay.
He applied the perfect zoom function and searched for Remington first. It took a second to spot a tall and well-built guy with glossy white hair and a pair of icy-blue eyes. He was wearing his training uniform that consisted of a black and gold-striped tracksuit, looking fatally edible.
"Ahh, my delicious idol…" Melodie almost drooled at the gorgeous sight.
Just then, someone else appeared in the frame of his binoculars.
