Coruscant's skyline pulsed with energy and tension as Jedi Masters and Senators debated Padmé Amidala's safety. Following the failed assassination attempt by Zam Wesell, the Jedi Council reached a unanimous decision.
"She cannot remain on Coruscant," Mace Windu said gravely. "It is too dangerous. The assassin's employer is still out there."
"She must be protected somewhere far from political reach," Master Yoda added, his eyes narrowing. "To Dantooine… she should go."
Qui-Gon gave a quiet nod. "He already knows something like this would happen. He's prepared the Enclave."
Anakin, standing nearby, didn't hide his relief. "She'll be safer there—with Revan."
Padmé offered a soft smile. "And I trust him more than I do the Senate."
The Nubian ship landed gently on the Enclave's landing pad. Padmé stepped out, escorted by Anakin and Qui-Gon.
Revan greeted them with a nod. "Welcome to Dantooine. You are safe here."
Padmé looked around at the peaceful stone buildings and the vast quiet lands. "It feels a world away from Coruscant's dangers."
Anakin glanced toward his mother resting nearby in a calm medbay chamber. "She's stable. Thanks to Master Revan's efforts."
Shmi smiled softly from her room as Anakin passed by. "My son," she whispered, a quiet reassurance.
Despite the serious atmosphere, Naruto and Ahsoka found ways to lighten the mood.
Naruto carefully placed a small holo-projector beneath Revan's chair, projecting a realistic but harmless snake slithering on the floor.
Revan looked down, raising an eyebrow. "You underestimate my battles, Naruto. I've seen worse than this."
Ahsoka chuckled and tweaked the comm system, causing Revan's voice during his next transmission to sound like a wookiee growl.
Revan's deadpan reply came through the speakers. "If I must sound like this, I will learn to roar properly."
Naruto burst out laughing. "Master Revan, the fearsome wookiee of the Enclave!"
Qui-Gon carefully examined the paralyzing poison dart recovered after the assassination attempt.
"This toxin isn't familiar," he said thoughtfully. "It's organic, Kaminoan in origin. That complicates things."
Revan's face darkened. "Kamino… this means the conspiracy may reach farther than we thought."
"I will search the Jedi Archives discreetly," Qui-Gon said. "We must uncover who is behind this."
"Be cautious," Revan warned. "There are many who would prefer these shadows to remain."
Latter that night
In the soft glow of the Enclave's garden beneath the twin moons, Anakin sat beside Shmi, who rested on a bench surrounded by blooming native plants. Her frail hands trembled slightly as she reached out to clasp his.
"I'm so glad you're here, Anakin," she whispered, eyes shining with warmth despite her weakness.
Anakin smiled gently, brushing a stray lock of hair from her face. "I'm not going anywhere, Mother. I promise. You're safe here."
She sighed softly, a mixture of relief and lingering pain. "All those years alone... but now... you're a Jedi. It feels like a dream."
Anakin's jaw tightened. "It's real. And I'm going to protect you. I won't let anything happen to you."
She looked up at him, her eyes filled with pride. "You've grown into a strong man, Anakin. Stronger than I ever imagined."
He chuckled lightly. "Strength means nothing if it doesn't protect the people you care about."
Shmi's smile grew wistful. "I want you to live, Anakin. Not just survive. Live with hope, not fear."
Anakin nodded, his voice steady. "I will. And I'll make sure you see the galaxy one day — beyond this garden, beyond all this."
She squeezed his hand, her strength renewed by his words. "That means more than you know."
Nearby, Revan and Padmé exchanged quiet glances, sensing the unspoken promise passing between mother and son.
Naruto, peeking from behind a nearby tree, whispered to Ahsoka, "Bet Anakin's mom's the strongest person here."
Ahsoka smiled. "No doubt about that."
