Chapter 13 - Mythical Ranked Eyes

Chapter 13: Mythical Ranked Eyes

Victor found the room quite luxurious, as he had never stepped foot in such a fancy room.

However, it didn't interest him that much. Compared to the blue transparent screen in front of him, this was nothing. However, the position of the young master of House of Shade—he had to take proper advantage of it so he could complete his only mission, which was to save the world.

[Ding!]

[God of Entertainment has given you two lucky spins]

[Do you wish to proceed right now]

[Yes/No]

He locked the door to be safe. While he didn't think anybody would just barge in here, it was a safety measure.

'Yes'

In his mind, he replied yes to the option asking if he wanted to proceed with the lucky spin.

Right after that, a giant wheel appeared in front of him out of thin air. Victor wasn't sure if others would have been able to see it or not, but he felt good knowing he hadn't decided to do this in front of others. He knew the transparent blue screen was only visible to him, as even Lysira von Shade, one of the strongest on the planet, wasn't able to see it.

Victor could see on the wheel there were many different colorful sections. The most visible ones were white, then red, then green, blue, purple, and orange.

The orange ones were only about 20, and the golden ones were only 5. There was also a single black one.

In total, there were more than 200 options. Even when he saw the options of rare colors like orange and golden, especially black, which was only a thin line between two big red ones, it screamed danger to him.

Knowing the God of Entertainment, he knew he would lose something too instead of just gaining something that would help him.

He knew nothing about how much force it would need for the wheel to spin at what speed, so he couldn't predict where the first spin would land. It would depend on luck, but for the second time, he could get some idea. But the most important thing was there was nothing written on the wheel. He didn't know what he would get or not.

Victor was aiming for the golden ones as they looked safe to him. He didn't spin yet; everything was depending on his luck.

The wheel was spinning normally. The clicking sounds were being made constantly. He was looking at the arrow with his full focus.

'Gold, I need gold'

______

In the endless white space, the God of Entertainment was also looking at Victor spinning the wheel. He knew most of his fate would be decided on this. While he didn't think whatever happened, this stubborn fellow would give up, but it could make his future hardships a bit easier.

It landed on gold. He couldn't help but have a wide smile on his face.

The God of Entertainment knew one thing: those who didn't have luck on their side would fall sooner or later.

But it seemed Victor had luck on his side.

The wheel of luck was a very fair game. The god had designed it after seeing this type of wheel on Earth, but still, the chances were a bit rigged, as landing on the gold was only a one in 10,000 chance.

The artifact he got made the god a bit excited, as this was the one made by trying to copy one of the most powerful and unique authorities: 'The Cosmic Eyes,' which was also the reason most of the gods didn't like his company. It didn't directly increase his combat power, but it did make him quite formidable.

But it was only an imitation of his own, but it could be considered a divine ability for humans.

'Making that artifact cost me so much of my primordial essence, and even I had to use my own blood and bit of essence of my eyes to make that'

For the God of Entertainment, that would be the best one in the gold section, but it could be said for everyone, as there were elixirs that would bring the dead back to life once after being dead and a sword that could cut through almost everything. He couldn't forget those SSS-ranked domains too.

It landed on the gold. Victor felt excited to see what he would get, as it would directly increase his chances to save the world.

The golden thin part of the wheel shined, and two eyeballs came out of them. The eyes looked similar to the ones that the God of Entertainment had. There was no information on them, only question marks.

[Extreme Luck!!]

[You have won a Mythical ranked item ???? eyes]

But the term mythical did remind him of something. He knew that these eyes might be overpowered.

But he didn't know how to use them. Did he have to gouge out his eyes to wear them? Wouldn't he go blind if it didn't work out?

Victor knew he didn't have anything. The blue transparent screen was not giving him any answers to that question, but seeing how they looked like real eyes, it might be the correct way. He didn't just go for the second spin.

He decided to go with the first: his left eye. He first brought the mythical-ranked eyes closer to his left eye to see if it would fit or not. However, suddenly the mythical ranked eyes in his hand were being pulled into his eye. Victor didn't stop them.

'It's good that I don't have to gouge my eyes out to fit them'

His left eye started to burn. Blood was trickling down his eye. His eyes were completely shut. He was gritting his teeth to not let any sound go outside. He didn't want to alert anyone.

"Urrgh!!"

Grunts were escaping from his mouth as his eye felt like it was burning on fire. The pain was too much to bear.

The first eye was done. He couldn't see anything due to the blood that was covering his eyes. He walked toward the inside of the room to find somewhere he could get water to clean his eyes, and he reached the bathroom that was connected to one side of his room.

He cleaned his blood-covered eyes with water in front of the luxurious sink. The blood got washed away with water. After a few splashes of water, he could finally see properly with the new eye, but what he saw made his eyes close shut quickly and clutch his head with both hands.
