Within minutes, Zach's communicator chirped and it was Ty—he wanted to know what was up. Sonia had been turned away at the gate and not allowed entrance. She was worried sick.
"I'll take care of it. I'll call her and I'll explain, but as of right now this place is on lockdown. Everyone that's here is under my protection and no one is coming in until the GBI clears us and a certain event takes place. This is meant for everyone—there are no exceptions," Zach told his grandson firmly.
Ty understood his grandfather was doing what was best for everyone. He didn't know what was going on, but it would be okay.
Zach called Sonia and explained the situation. "There's a situation that involves individuals at the ranch that need the most protection ever. When the event is over and everyone is safe, then we'll come out of lockdown. No one is going to be harmed by anyone from any damn corporation."
