Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Corpses of birds and other weak corrupted beasts littered the ground around him, Tiger looked at the place he felt a bloodline stronger than his, this ofcourse would not be strange, he was in a forest filled with the corrupted.

However he thought he smelled a human there which should not be possible. He was the only bloodline holder around here and he liked it that way.

He knew no bloodline holder worth their salt would come this far out into the wilderness, not mentioning the dangers on the way, even if they can reach this place what would be the point.

The only reason he's still here it because he can live like a king, he can have any woman he wants and had subordinate he can order around.

Boss, is something wrong? He heard his second in command ask. He liked the guy, he was competence and loyal, willing to do anything if he tells him to.

No, I thought I felt something I shouldn't have, let go. He brushed off the feeling and they left for the town, they were going to have a feast tonight.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Ashborn had ran all the way back to his room. Shit, he's much stronger than I thought he would be, I need to catch up to him or I'll die.

Status he said in his head after realising he doesn't need to say it outloud.

Name: Ashborn

Rank: 1( bloodline Intergration stage- mid level)

Bloodlines

- Ash serpent bloodline ( earth grade)

- Tree hide Boar bloodline ( earth grade)

Blood points:1

Mid stage? So that what that was, my essence feel denser because I reached mid stage but why didn't the system show this before.

( Answer, the difference between minor levels in ranks is inconsequential compared to the difference in ranks, the system deemed it not worthy of being mentioned)

So why mention it now? ( Host discovered the knowledge themselves so the system included it) so if I'm in the mid stage, does that mean Tiger is at the late stage or something like that?

The system did not answer. No, the wolf would be in the late stage but Tiger felt even stronger than that. Peak, supreme stage, whatever it is called but he's atleast two levels above me that for sure.

Wait system, how many levels are there? ( Answer, each rank is divided into four levels, early, mid, late and peak level) ha, I guessed right, I'm a genius.

Now that he knew how powerful Tiger was he had a goal to work towards. He was certain in the same level he would win, after all not only did he have multiple bloodlines, they were of a higher grade than Tigers, he was certain of that.

His only problem now was how to kill the beasts, he can't always rely on traps and luck. Guns are effective against some like the white bellbird but most of the large one are too durable.

A knife isn't hard enough either, he doesn't know what happened before but he doubt it would happen again. Fortunately he had two weapons now, the tusk.

They were silver and gleamed like metal. He picked up one of them, damn these things are metal. It felt heavy, with a few taps he was able to determine they were not hollow like one would expect from tusks.

They were long, which makes sense considering how large the beast they came from was. Each was almost a metre long. He could use them to stab as they were pointy but he felt that wasn't enough.

An idea struck him, he didn't have anything sharp and strong enough to chip them except each other. He used the pointy end of one to chip the other.

He worked the entire night and by morning he had two daggers or short swords considering how long they were. He gripped both with the end bone that used to connect them to the skull, he then rapped the tendons of the boar around the end bone like a bandage.

They weren't perfect by any means but they were impressive for something made by an amateur. They were curved, he didn't make them like that, the tusks were naturally curved.

What he did was chip away most of the outer part of the curve to make it sharper. Now he had two gleaming curved swords. He started swinging them around.

They felt natural in his hands, his movements although much faster and had more strength due to his bloodlines were obviously amateurish.

However they were enough, he didn't have any proper training so this will do. He started moving his feet as well as if dancing, it did not look good at all.

Deciding he has danced enough he went out, he still had meat from the boar but having more food was never a bad thing, besides, it was not about the meat.

He wanted cores and for that he needed training. He went south, he brought his gun with him even though it was useless in most cases.

Kilometres in, he climbed a talk tree and waited, below him was a stag, it was huge and it antlers looked like they were made of crystals.

It teeth were long and sharp and it had crystal hooves. It was munching on a much smaller rabbit. He could sense the blood aura of the beast.

It bloodline was most likely earth grade and it was in the late stage of rank 1. It was definitely stronger than him. If he attacks he would have to kill it in one shot or he'll be in trouble.

It seems it could not sense him which was confusing, if he could sense it why couldn't it sense him? ( Answer, Host blood aura is weaker, corrupted do not respond to those they do not deem a threat unless they deem them food)

I see, so it doesn't think I'm a threat? Let see how long that will last, he said as he jumped down with his daggers pointed at it, the stag raised it head to look at him then it moved.

He landed on the ground with boom, having missed it, he stood up and stared at it, it stared back it antlers shining in the sun like diamonds. It was much larger than he was, standing at over 5 metres tall.

He gripped both daggers in reverse, placed one foot back and took a stance. The stag pawed with it front hoove as it lowered it head then it charged.
