Boom!
Arthur's face caved in as Hakari rushed through his slashes. Hakari's fist struck him square across the face, sending him flying. Hakari's body was riddled with slashes.
"His domain vanished?" Arthur thought as he crashed into the sand. They appeared back on the beach now that Hakari's domain vanished. Megumi quickly aided Hakari.
"Piercing shot!" A beam was shot from the distance through Arthur's lung. The sorcerer groaned before healing his injuries. Arthur felt his blood pressure rise in anger.
"You fucking bastards!" Arthur screamed in despair and anger. His eyes went bloodshot as he felt his reserve tank another hit. The sand around him was pushed back from his rampaging cursed energy.
'My cursed energy is not enough to cast a domain... Damn it, what should I do?!' Arthur tried to think of anything to help him, but he couldn't. All that went through his mind was curses.
'The only way out is a binding vow... But those are unpredictable,' Arthur thought as he dodged a punch from Hakari. His hand clasped down on the outstretched hand.
Bang!
Hakari groaned as Arthur rolled a knee in his stomach. He pushed through and did a spin kick towards Arthur, who crouched down and dodged by a hair.
Boom!
Megumi appeared from above, and his fist, covered with purple electricity, crashed into Arthur's back. Arthur groaned, his body freezing from the electricity.
Boom!
Arthur was struck across the chest with a kick from Hakari and a punch to the face from Megumi. Arthur felt a meteor collide with him as he was sent flying towards the ocean.
Boom!
The ocean stirred as Arthur crashed in like a meteor from space. Megumi and Hakari quickly ran after him, and Arthur slowly floated in the chill water.
Arthur's brain, moving at a thousand miles a second, gained time to relax, and he stopped overthinking. Instead, his brain was running, trying to think of a way to win.
'Okay... A binding vow is offering something for something you need,' Arthur thought as he felt the cold water. His eyes turned a dull steel as he firmed his will.
Arthur saw the shadows of Megumi and Hakari above him, and his eyes turned cold as he finally decided to make the binding vow.
'In exchange for needing a single hand sign before using my cursed technique... I regain my full cursed energy,' Arthur thought as he felt his body bound by chains.
Boom!
The water exploded into a massive circle, showing Arthur flying with his right hand in a seal. Megumi and Hakari were hit with the extent of Arthur's power.
A massive ball of air appeared around the two, and their voices turned silent, and the wind started ripping into their bodies. Megumi let out a pained shout, his thighs, arms, chest and face becoming scarred and disfigured.
Even when Megumi used his cursed energy as armour around his body, Megumi was still seriously injured in a single attack from a healthy and serious Arthur.
"Toad!" Megumi quickly summoned a toad in the distance, and it shot its tongue at him. The tongue was almost ripped to shreds, but it did its job.
It wrapped around Megumi's leg and pulled him out from the dome of air, his body washed with his blood. Megumi frowned as he summoned Round Deer beside him.
Round Deer immediately got to heal him. Megumi could use the powers of his Shikigami, but it would realistically never reach their level of skill or potency.
His injuries healed, and Hakari in the dome groaned as his immortality healed him again. Summoning a metal door, Hakari stepped on it, sending him flying out of the dome.
"Hakari-san! I will do it!" Megumi said as he ripped his shirt off, showing his upper body. Hakari grinned before running at Arthur. Arthur flew down at Hakari and grabbed his face before dragging him along the ground.
Hakari's face peeled off, showing his skeleton. But it was not enough as his right hand slammed into Arthur's gut, sending him sprawling back and coughing blood.
Hakari quickly jumped up and dashed at Arthur, who barely reacted as he blocked a punch. His arm went numb, and Hakari started throwing punches and kicks.
Arthur's right ribs broke into pieces from the punch filled with overflowing cursed energy. Hakariu followed up with a barrage of punches and kicks that hurt Arthur.
"You annoying bug!" Arthur clenched his hand around the wind, and a solid sword formed in his hand. Using his cursed energy, Arthur dashed forward with jets of wind boosting him.
Boom!
Hakari blocked the sword with his arm and watched as they fell to the ground with blood everywhere. His hands healed almost instantly, and Hakari punched Arthur in the face.
Boom!
A massive dome of sand exploded as a shockwave enough to level a city block passed Megumi, ruffling his hair. Arthur flew out of the sand with his face caved in.
Arthur let out a choked sound before healing his injury. His eyes turned red from the blood as he looked at Hakari. With a dash, he appeared beside the man and stabbed his sword through his heart.
Boom!
Hakari was pinned to the ground, and Arthur started pummeling his body and face with stabs. A massive wind pressure held Hakari to the floor, unable to move as Arthur had his way with him.
Arthur suddenly felt a palpitation from Megumi. He looked and saw that Megumi was trying to do his domain. Arthur's eyes widened, and Arthur hastily used his full power.
Boom!
A crater similar to a nuclear blast sight appeared as a massive tornado formed around Arthur. Arthur flew towards Megumi, the tornado moving with him and ripping everything apart.
"Domain Expansion..."
"Chimera Shadow Garden."
Arthur grinned with a crazy look and slammed his hands together to form his domain. Megumi's eyes widened before he styled himself with firm resolve.
"Domain Expansion!"
"The Eye of the Storm!"
Arthur finished his words, and a black-and-white domain barrier clashed, breaking everything around the two to shreds. Hakari got thrown away by the shockwave.
Arthur and Megumi groaned as they expanded their domains. They tried to overpower each other but it did nothing. They pushed back and forth without anyone winning.
The two were barely new to the world of domains.
Their domain was not refined enough, and Megumi and Arthur immediately knew. Their domains clashed one final time, but neither managed to prevail.
A black barrier surrounded them, and the sure-hit effect of both domains got cancelled out. Megumi and Arthur stared at each other as their power was buffed in the domain.
Megumi's side of the domain was pure black and a slimy ground that sucked everything in, and a spine-like thing floating behind him with nerves extending out to the sides.
Arthur's side was different. It painted a grey sky with rain clouds. Arthur was surrounded by a storm and in the centre of the tornado. Megumi and Arthur dashed, their techniques gaining a boost.
Boom!
The two collided with wind and electricity on their fists. The ground trembled before the two entered combat. Megumi was pulled forward from his shoulder, and he used the moment to slam into Arthur's chest.
Arthur coughed before slamming his head into Megumi's face. Blood splattered across their face as Megumi sent a piercing shot point blank at Arthur. Arthur grinned as a barrier appeared.
The water splashed, and Arthur kicked Megumi in the chest, sending him flying back. Megum's side of the domain trembled before solidifying.
"It's over for you!" Arthur screamed as he ran after him.
