[ HELLO, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ]
You find yourself in a middle of a party, a birthday party just for you. Initially confused, we advised for you to not panic, as it'll only make the Guests suspicious; we advise for you to instead smile, and appear to have a great time.
Though you don't know where you are, we do. You just find yourself in a situation that we call, a Birthday Party, even though it isn't your birthday, even though you are 30+ years old, even though you don't know any single one of the people inside your familiar yet not at all backyard.
We advise that you play along. As you are relieving a memory, one that will decide if you continue to live as you see fit, or be deleted from the memory of every single individual that has and have ever known you, or the records detailing what you have done in your life. Gone.
Do not fear, wear the party hat presented just for you. Eat some gooey brownies that your "Auntie" baked just for you, watch your "Uncles" grill some burgers and hotdogs. Do not panic, just eat, just play, just smile... Do not let them know that you aren't you.
At approximately 12:33PM, you're "Father" will arrive home, with him the birthday clown, the piñatas, the entertainment. Do not approach, do not disturb, sit still, do not make a single eye contact unless spoken to.
At exactly 2:15PM, "Mother" will arrive and usher in the frantic children in the backyard. You include, they will all stop what they are doing, and will stare at you... This phenomenon will stop once you step foot inside the house for the first time.
The house will look familiar to you, but not at the same time, even though it is the first time you have seen it. Do not appear shocked, but appear to look at ease, to not alert the monsters. Enter the dining table and eat what is serve to you.
This will either be a) pizza with spaghetti, eating them will cause you to be nauseous, but do not throw up near the vicinity of any Guest. Or b) a birthday cake, if received this, then immediately eat it without looking around, no matter what happens around you.
At exactly 2:32PM, eating will be done, as all the children will be ushered to play a game. It can either come in the form of musicals chairs, tag, or hide and seek. If the game played is hide and seek, then do not hide, but immediately say once the game start, that you have been found.
If the other two games are played, then win it at all cost. As you wouldn't want to know what'll happen to you if you don't. This event will last exactly for about 33 minutes exactly, as at 3:04PM you will be given the chance to partake in beating the piñata.
Again, you must partake in this scenario, it is not optional to not join. After any of the children has finally beaten up the piñata and spilled the insides of it, dear reader, do not eat any of the candy, but pocket some to put up the charade.
Do not eat at all cost, as it contains hair, guts, blood, skin and any other materials masquerading as candy. You will see this once the children starts eating, and once this scenario happen, everything will start to change for the worse.
The Guest around you will start to appear morbid, showing their true forms. The children also as their appearances drastically changes from the every day appearance. After this, they will appear lanky, tall, without eyes and with missing body parts. Again, do not appear shocked.
You, the birthday boy/girl whoever you are, the Guest— the monsters will pay extra attention to you, as they now know that you aren't one of them, but with no proof to show, they will keep putting the charade.
Do not panic, appear as if everything is normal, continue with everything, play with the children that will start to appear frantic, eating sand, chewing on trucks. Not like it isn't quite far from the normal behavior of children, after all, they are already weird. So, play along.
3:45PM, the clown/s will start to use their magic and create balloons in the shape of people, in the shape of animals, in the shape of somethings. It will begin to chase you, but do not fear, they are quite slow, bur dangerous, make sure to not get touch by one though, you wouldn't want to know what'll happen.
In the meantime, just go around and seem to appear like you are having the time of your life, really. Avoid the balloon, go at the circle, who cares, just don't die, keep smiling though, and... Always be alert.
4:59PM will hit, and at this time, avoid any of the Guest at all cost, but do not run, just walk fast enough for them to not reach you. At this point they will go hungry, their appearances changing to what they really are, monsters, now without filter.
If you get distracted and get tackled by one, you will die. Thankfully the house that you are in, is like a maze, one that even they aren't familiar with, so hide inside, but keep moving, as you'll be find if you did stay for a minute longer in one place.
5:01PM, you are at the final hurdle, at exactly 59 minutes later you will live, return back to your world, and not die in here as food for monsters. At this case, all the Guest, no matter the apperance, affiliation, or disguise will try to actively hunt you.
Like hide and seek, but at this case, it is inverted. And not in your favor, so, we, workers of Tales Unexplainable advises for you to hide, run, crawl, duck, or whatever you need to do to survive, as it'll be commission for us if you survive, and deduction if you die... Don't die.
5:35PM, pets will start to appear, in the shape of hamsters, dogs, rats, or even cats. Do not be deceived, as their shadows tells what they really are. Monsters that can shapeshift depending on the scenario they need to; hide. They are desperate.
They are hungry and wouldn't let a single delicious 7 star meal like you escape them, and not just that, it is also because of pride. They can't stomach the fact that you are able to run away from them, you, a normal human... That's a blow to their pride.
So, to damage it, you need to survive until 6:00PM... If you did, then congratulations, everything around you will change. The surroundings will stop changing, the monsters will stop moving, you are safe...
Do not be deceived, quickly wish for safety before the clock hits 01. If you didn't, then... Let's just say there is another Guest within their ranks, another dumb, prideful and hungry Guest awaiting for another Birthday to happen— for a feast to happen.
