The Quest's Provocation
Lan An nearly cursed at the Seize Virtuous Wife quest.
Impotence for five months? He'd rather die. His recent dual cultivation with Ji Bing, healing her soul, had left him intimately familiar with her alluring body, stoking his desires.
He scanned the quest details: "Mu Zi Yin is in danger. Swiftly rescue and win her heart."
"Her name's Mu Zi Yin? Damn, hurry!" Lan An growled inwardly, stowing the Black Sea Stone Box in the Spirit Blossom Orb. With Phantom Charm Wander Step, he blazed north.
Northern Wilderness, Desperate Stand
Mu Zi Yin spat blood.
Her tight dress was in tatters, revealing curves that could topple empires.
Facing her, a sky-piercing Tree Demon glared, its crimson eyes ravenous. Vines and branches lashed at her like a storm, their crude strikes shattering boulders with terrifying force.
Panting, Mu Zi Yin dodged with her movement art, but occasional strikes grazed her, leaving scars on her silken skin, a heartbreaking sight.
"Butterfly Sword Art!" She gritted her teeth, wielding her wooden sword. Her body danced like a butterfly, unpredictable, sharp sword qi slashing at the demon.
But the Tree Demon was colossal. Her fierce strikes only severed a few thick branches, barely fazing it.
ROAR!
Exhausted, the demon bellowed, shaking the mountains, summoning lesser beasts.
Beast hierarchy was rigid. Nearby low-tier beasts' eyes reddened, obeying the call.
Mu Zi Yin's face paled, dread surging.
Beasts, driven mad by the Tree Demon's command, encircled her, a succulent prey amid starving wolves.
"My fate defies the heavens. Come, fight!" She laughed defiantly, her voice echoing, a lone woman standing heroic against a horde.
Yet, tragically so.
"Ten Thousand Wood Bind!" Her bloodied hands wove seals, vines restraining many low-tier beasts.
Her sword danced, a butterfly in the night, cleaving beasts into bloody fragments.
Blood soaked her, masking her beauty—hers or the beasts', unclear.
Her spiritual energy dwindled, her pills gone.
Mu Zi Yin smiled bitterly, memories flashing.
Orphaned young, she was adopted by a Tian Mu elder patriarch, raised as a disciple.
At twenty, her master arranged her marriage to his son, her senior brother. Though not passionate, their union was harmonious.
After her master's death, she and her husband became elders, revered.
Memories flooded her.
Exhausted, she crumpled, her sword clattering down.
Her life, who gave her life, was spent saving her master's son, her life.
As beasts closed in, she closed her eyes, whispering: "This life… was enough."
"No, your life's been rather wretched," a soft voice countered.
Mu Zi Yin felt weightless, her soft body cradled in strong arms.
Struggling to open her eyes, she saw the Proud Smile Mask's eerie grin.
A black cloak billowed, a silver eye gleamed with mischief, hunger, yet tinged with pity and gentleness.
What was this gaze?
Too weak to speak, she gazed back.
ROAR!
The beasts snapped from their daze, charging.
GROAR! The Tree Demon roared, furious at the intruder. Vines surged, intent on crushing them.
"We'll leave soon. Endure a bit," a warm voice said through the mask.
"He's young," Mu Zi Yin mused, catching his tone.
Lan An had no time for talk. Beasts lunged.
ROAR!
The Earth Bear materialized, a mountain shielding them. Its fists pulverized low-tier beasts,.
Lan An, dodging long-range attacks while holding Mu Zi Yin, infused soul power into the Earth Bear.
"What technique is this? So domineering!" Mu Zi Yin gasped. At her peak, the Earth Bear wouldn't scare her, but she knew it could best her if only slightly weaker.
Her Spirit Blossom insight saw the Earth Bear was spirit-forged, yet lifelike, fearless, and tireless—a terrifying war machine.
Lan An noted her awe, gently wiping blood from her smooth face.
Mu Zi Yin turned away, shy.
ROAR!
The Tree Demon acted, its roots piercing lesser beasts, draining their vitality.
The beasts withered, the demon's energy surging.
"Trouble," Lan An muttered, noting its ruthless tactic.
His mind raced, Phantom Charm Wander Step accelerating.
In his arms, Mu Zi Yin's eyes widened as scenery blurred, his speed rivaling her peak flight despite his sub-Nascent Soul cultivation.
"Who is he?" she wondered, limp in his embrace.
Finding a massive tree, Lan An propped her against it, playfully squeezing her firm rear.
Mu Zi Yin glared, furious yet too weak to curse.
Under her glare, Lan An summoned the Big Dipper Bow, its aura chilling her.
"Heaven-Grade!" Her mind reeled, doubting reality.
Then, a violet flame arrow formed, the air scorching.
Sweat glistened on her, enhancing her allure. She was certain—this was a dream.
A Heaven-Grade bow with Strange Fire arrows? Absurd.
Ignoring her thoughts, Lan An loosed the arrow, the Big Dipper shimmering behind him like a descended deity.
The Tree Demon's bulk couldn't dodge.
HOWL!
It screamed, agony tearing the night.
Strange Fire, wood's bane, consumed it.
No second arrow needed. The demon that cornered Mu Zi Yin and her husband was obliterated, not even ash remaining.
Utter annihilation.
Strange Fire's terror.
"A wild dream," Mu Zi Yin consoled herself.
Rustle.
The demon dead, surviving beasts fled. The Earth Bear roared triumphantly, torn but reborn via the Spirit Earth Cauldron, nigh immortal.
The Earth Bear dissipated, its spirit returning to Lan An.
Stowing the Big Dipper Bow, he turned to the dazed woman, lifting her into his arms.
Mu Zi Yin struggled weakly, mortified to be held by a stranger.
"Be still, or you'll worsen your wounds," he scolded through the mask.
Her stunned gaze prompted a chuckle. He removed the Proud Smile Mask, storing it in the Black Skull Ring.
A handsome, roguish face appeared, his single eye twinkling at her.
Mu Zi Yin cursed inwardly. He was barely older than her disciples, yet his power was monstrous.
Ignoring her thoughts, Lan An leaned down.
Chup.
He kissed her pale, full lips, smirking: "A small reward for saving you."
Her eyes widened, chest heaving with fury.
Sensing her anger, Lan An ceased teasing, using spiritual energy to staunch her wounds, then sped away with Phantom Charm Wander Step.
Her injuries were grave; only her iron will kept her conscious.
By the Stream, Forbidden Healing
After a frenzied dash, they reached a clear stream.
Mu Zi Yin had fainted in his arms. Lan An's swift, steady motion lulled her into peace.
She lacked the strength to ponder his identity, trusting he meant no harm—for now.
Lan An proved her wrong.
Her tattered dress barely clung to her. He gently peeled it away, revealing flawless skin, ripe as a peach, fragrant with mature allure.
Her slender neck, delicate collarbones, full breasts—larger than Yan Ruo Xue's, with rosy tips—gleamed. Her lithe waist, plump rear, and shapely thighs framed a neatly trimmed, inviting flower, its ruby bud prominent.
Mu Zi Yin was a peerless mature beauty, a man's dream.
Yet, scars and grime marred her perfection, her hair tangled.
Lan An checked the Lucky Shop, but found no suitable healing items. The Healing Pill worked only up to Nascent Soul, and he'd used it on Uncle Wu.
Mu Zi Yin couldn't even circulate her cultivation to heal.
Only one method remained: Dragon Immortal Sacred Canon.
Decided, Lan An shed his clothes, carrying her nude body into the stream.
He washed her carefully, avoiding her wounds, his spiritual energy stabilizing her.
Her skin, soft as silk and curvaceous, captivated him. He cleansed every inch, savoring her form.
In her dream, Mu Zi Yin felt warm water and a comforting embrace, a soothing scent enveloping her, her body gently massaged.
"Mmm," she hummed, her breath sweet.
Lan An, emboldened, lifted her smooth chin, kissing her lush lips.
"Hng," she murmured, her tongue meeting his, their flavors mingling.
Chup, chup.
He hugged her slim waist, pressing her curves against him, savoring her nectar.
He pitied and cherished her—her resilience, her virtue, her beauty—yet cursed her fate, bound to a vile husband.
If the heavens and system had brought them together, he'd make amends, regardless of her choice.
In the clear stream, their bodies entwined, lips locked.
Lan An's arousal was iron-hard. He guided her soft hand to it.
Instinctively, Mu Zi Yin grasped it, stroking gently.
Lan An groaned, parting their lips to kiss her ample chest, larger than Yan Hong Lian's.
Submerging, he suckled her hardened tip, sweet and wet, her scent intoxicating.
His hand teased her slick flower, toying with her swollen bud.
Her readiness evident, Lan An was primed.
Lifting one of her legs over his shoulder, her flexibility aiding, they stood in the shallow stream.
His hardness found her drenched entrance, unsure if from her or the water.
He needed to claim her.
His hips thrust.
Her tight warmth enveloped him, soft walls pulsing.
"Mmm," they moaned in unison.
Lan An sensed a shift, looking up.
Her stunning face bore icy eyes, a glint of killing intent.
Unfazed, he met her gaze, smirking: "Can this… be considered repayment with your body?"
