In a sealed sub-level far beneath Spear Pillar, a hidden temple remained untouched for millennia.
Within it, a mural covered the wall.
It depicted the original eight: not Gym Leaders, not Champions — but Legendary Pokémon, ringed in strange lights. Their Talents were not Gold. Not Red.
They shimmered in something else.
Something alive.
A researcher from Paldea was escorted inside. She gasped.
"This isn't mythology," she whispered. "This is a warning."
Her escort, an old monk, nodded slowly.
