The classroom buzzed with low chatter as the students of Pallet Academy's Year 1 Talent Theory class waited for their next lecture. Aiden sat near the window, arms crossed, eyes sharp despite the boring droning that usually came with lectures.
Today, however, was different.
Ms. Kirei, their stern but knowledgeable teacher, walked in holding a remote and clicked on the holographic projector.
"Today's topic," she began, "is Yellow and Blue Talents — rare abilities that push the limits of what most trainers will ever experience."
The room went quiet.
Even the lazy ones sat up.
⸻
Ms. Kirei's Lecture:
She tapped the screen. An image of a Charmeleon breathing out toxic black flames shimmered to life.
"This is 'Rotflare.' A known Yellow-Talent example. The flames aren't just hot—they corrode metal and disrupt aura detection. Even machines can't withstand it."
Aiden leaned forward slightly, watching as some students gasped.
"Yellow-level Talents are rare — about 1 in every 1,000 beings. Not just Pokémon. Some humans have them, too. These people often become Gym Leaders, dungeon scouts, or… dangerous criminals."
Another slide. A Ninjask zipped across a canyon at blinding speed, warping behind a group of targets.
"Blue-level Talents," Kirei said, voice quieter now, "are in a league of their own. One in a hundred thousand. Not seen in normal life. Most people will never meet a Blue-level talent holder."
Students whispered around the room.
"But Blue Talents are not a guarantee of success. They can backfire. Some are unstable. Some… kill the user if not trained properly."
Aiden didn't blink. His gaze sharpened. He had never seen one in his past life. Not even in the anime. He only knew the rumors — the kind of things that changed history.
⸻
Student Interaction:
A boy to Aiden's left, Reno, raised his hand.
"Miss! Is it true that if someone tells others what their Talent is, they'll die?"
Ms. Kirei nodded gravely.
"That's not just a myth. The world recognizes Talent as a gift… and a curse. Speaking of your exact Talent is suicide. It's a law of existence, not a man-made rule."
Another girl spoke, nervously:
"So… what if someone guesses it?"
Kirei replied firmly:
"Guessing is fine. But never confirm it. Never speak the truth aloud."

After Class – Aiden's Thoughts:
As the bell rang, the class broke into chatter again.
Aiden lingered at his desk, thinking.
So… no one knows what I have. I can't even tell anyone. And I'm the only one in recorded history with more than one…
He glanced out the window, eyes narrowing.
This world has no idea what's coming.
