Ugh… As expected, female clothing doesn't feel right on me.
As I'm picking out some clothes from the shelves, I kept on comparing them to see which would fit best while also keeping my male dignity.
Although my body is practically the opposite of masculine, I do prefer to cover as much skin as possible.
Actually, isn't it exactly due to the fact that I'm a girl now that I need to cover more skin?
Hm, sounds pretty logical.
While justifying my fashion sense, I looked at the full body-sized mirror.
The previously scary looking scar that goes across my chest has disappeared. Meanwhile, there's still a brown spot left above the left temple.
Looking at these changes, it's hard to believe that magical prowess could be so convenient.
More than convenient, it's practically life changing for women with acne in my old world!
With a wave of a hand, every old scar and skin issues would be deleted forever! Only for 99$ per treatment!
'Sigh…'
"Excuse me, Rachel. Don't you have any male clothing? Not to be rude, but I do prefer them over female ones."
Calling out towards the nun, I heard a response from the back.
"I'm sorry, but that's all the clothing I have. If it's really urgent, we could go out to buy some right away? Though unfortunately, you would have to make do with those while shopping for them."
After failing to obtain proper coverage in the forest, a savior had finally arrived, sending me her grace in the form of Rachel.
With plans in mind, I was led by Rachel towards the entrance.
Though feminine clothes felt quite uncomfortable, it's fortunate that most of my skin was covered but…
…using a dress was never on my bucket list.
Exiting the door, it surprised me how nice the home looked from the inside when compared to the outside.
It's practically like comparing night and day at this point.
Ignoring the contrast, I followed Rachel who had gone quite the distance while I was distracted.
Looking at the blue sky, I took note of the dark clouds in the horizon, barely covered by tall buildings.
"It looks like it's about to rain, we should probably hurry."
Though it felt like an excuse to quickly switch out to male clothing, I didn't realise that.
Even with her back facing me, it still feels like she's keeping watch on me at all times…
Creepy…

This one? No, maybe this one?
"What do you think, Rachel?"
Spinning once to test the aerodynamics, I asked for Rachel's opinion.
My sister used to call me someone with a bad sense of fashion. Since then, I could never trust myself whenever I go out to pick clothes.
But I've forgotten something…
"..."
"..."
Right, she's blind.
With the way she's walking around perfectly, navigating through crowds and avoiding small stones that would've tripped anyone, it's hard to believe a blind person could do this.
She does it so normally, I thought she had regained her vision or something.
The pair of shut eyes felt like it scanned me.
But even though she's blind, she did say something about echolocation. So, maybe she could make out the silhouette?
"It doesn't fit you perfectly. Even though it must feel nice to wear, it's a bit too baggy."
Her monotonous voice expressed.
"That one looks nice, but it's a hard one to move around with."
"A little bit too tight on the skin."
"You're exposing your midriff?"
"So pretty… I mean, you should consider buying this one, it covers up the most skin."
Why does she have so many comments even though she can't see…
In the end, I bought most of it using the copper coins she gave me. Looking at the amount of copper coins left, it surprised me how cheap all the clothes are.
Not only the male, even the female ones were quite cheap.
Despite not knowing how the money system works in this world yet, I do have some common knowledge from playing RPG games with my old coworkers before.
Supposedly, after copper should be silver and then gold, right?
To confirm my suspicion, I seek from my only companion.
"That's right, 100 copper coins equals 1 silver, and 10 silver coins equals 1 gold coin. Although, there are rare cases where that's not the case."
I knew it. It's just D&D all over again.
Does that mean I'm playing as an Amnesiac Pretty Girl? Perhaps an ancient soul lost to time?
Actually, never mind. Sounds like it would be too much of a responsibility to live with such a background.
The only good background I could think of would probably be as a Noble's daughter.
In that case, I would be living my life to the fullest spending millions of pennies every day!
Ah, but what would their reaction be to a daughter acting like a man…?
But money…!
Ah! Dilemma!
Trapped in my thoughts, Rachel just looked at me weirdly. From what it feels like, at least.

Growl~
"...Seeing as to how we're still outside, let's go buy groceries. What would you like to eat?"
Grabbing my stomach, it's unbelievable how I just let a big sound escape. Rachel having a poker face really saved me from the embarrassment.
"Anything with rice is fine. I'm not really a picky eater. Except for bitter and spicy things. Anything other than them I could gobble up in seconds."
"Understood. I'll be making us fried mushrooms, then. Hopefully it'll also fit your plate."
Wait, isn't she implying that she's going to cook?
"One second, I think it would be a better idea for me to take the job of cooking. You've provided so much already. I think this would be a good way for me to show gratitude."
"Is that so? I'd be grateful then…"
Surprisingly, she did not object to my idea.
After all, I can't really rest easy after making a blind person cook for me…
