Ethan was about to knock on Alexander's door when a voice drifted out from inside.
"Come in."
Ethan stepped in. Alexander was sitting in his chair, reading a book. He looked up and smiled warmly.
"Did you finish your seclusion fruitfully?"
Ethan nodded. "Great-grandpa, I wanted to ask you something."
Alexander closed his book, curiosity lighting his eyes. "Go on."
"Do you know what realms come after the Emperor?"
Alexander's brows rose in surprise. Of all the questions Ethan could have asked—about techniques, the Grandmaster breakthrough, or the Battle Tower—he hadn't expected this one. He leaned back thoughtfully.
