There she goes sitting along the football team looking like a goddess anyone would kneel down to. She seemed like she was some royalty while I was in the corner of the cafeteria looking like...nothing.
Invisible
All knew me, it was no surprise but only either because of her or because I am a nerd not because of who I really am. The only time anyone bothered being friends with me was so that they could get close to her.
She was the better twin in terms of looks-that's all matters.
Getting up from his seat, Alex made his way back to the library, the only place he considered his safe place. Quiet atmosphere spreading the peace all over the confined four walls.
Sunrays make their way through the window as it falls upon his pale skin leaving the warm sensation across. Comfortably shifting on his seat, he spread open the book going through the words with his focus that he didn't even notice Zephyr following him to the library.
Leaning across one of the bookshelves, the jock observed Alex like a hawk, watching his prey's every move, every expression he makes. How his eyes widens comically as he reads something shocking or surprising. How his eyebrows twitch, or the way he holds back a smile. Zephyr knew it all. After all it was his every day routine to watch the nerd when he thinks no one is watching him.
Alex was not invincible, not for the school's heartthrob.
There were lots of things going on that Alex, our oblivious Alex had no idea of.

"You should get out of your comfort zone and socialize more you know-what boring book you even read?''
Alice's voice came from above me as she towered me before snatching the book of my hand holding it as fast as possible as she went through the page I was in.
Oh no.
"Give it back", with that I got out of my bed trying to snatch it back from her hold but it was in vain as she read it out loud.
"The room filled up with heat as the moan- god Alex I didn't know my quiet twin was such a pervert".
Her disgusting face didn't match the amusement and teasing sense in her voice.
My cheeks started to hear up at her words.
"It's not-"she cut me mid sentence.
"It would be great news for the school to know about."
It was worrying how fast the colour drained my face. My reputation as a topper would be tarnished if anyone knew I liked reading those kinds of books. Not like it was a crime but still people talk.
"What do you want from me?", giving in to her I slumped back on the bed.
" Nothing much just accompany me to a party this Friday, since das won't let me go alone, I'm sure he would let me go if you come along. You know you are the 'good kid who can never do something wrong'."
Yeah no that was not happening. Parties weren't my cup of tea.
As in cue she smirked looking at the book she was still holding.
"Fine", I replied with a defected grunt.

As expected I was in my usual wear, oversized hoodie, baggy jeans and in addition a black surgical mask as it covered half of my face, keeping me at ease of people not recognizing me.
On the other hand! Alice was dressed in a pretty black short knee length, v-neck bodycon dress, hugging her curves at all the right places. Her red glossy hair let down as a small pendant adorned her neck, accompanied by red lipstick and pencil heels.
Sweetheart indeed.
She dressed up for attention-his attention.
