"Now I can stay in Stealth mode all day without worrying about cooldown," Chen murmured with a confident smile.
He slipped into stealth and quietly observed from a ledge above the dungeon entrance. From afar, he saw the Crimson Fangs team engaging small Slime Armor Ghouls. They were loud, overconfident, and wasteful with stamina. The deeper they went, the more Chen felt something... wrong. His heightened physique and bond sense prickled with instinctual danger.
Crimson Fangs formed a triangle-formation with Cheng Kung in front, Hui Ying on the flank, and the Ember Apprentice Kang Jie in the rear casting fire spells. Their formation had cracks. No real defense.
Deeper in the dungeon, they encountered zombie variants—bloated, oozing corpses wrapped in fused armor flesh. Hui Ying sliced through one with her blades but was splashed with corrosive fluid.
Then a scream. One member impaled.
Panic set in.
And then it appeared.

Its roar struck the entire party. Everyone except Jia Ling panicked. Cheng Kung, injured, fled with Hui Ying.
Jia Ling stood alone.
"I wanted to become strong… so I could live beside Chen," she thought as the boss rushed her.
Her sword trembled. "I don't want to die like this... betrayed by the same people I protected."
At the edge of the battlefield, Chen clenched his fists.
Inside his body, his partners whispered.
"Ming… Mother… Yue… Lin… I feel them all tremble," Chen muttered.
:: Ming's Voice :: "She's going to die! He has to act now!"
:: Yue :: "You're the only one who can save her."
:: Xinyi :: "If you go… make sure she survives. For all of us."
:: Lin Xue (moaning softly through pleasure):: "He's our shield… our strength… Our… nghhh~ hero…"
Their combined energy rippled through his body. His PP surged.

Chen gritted his teeth. "No time for silence. Orgone Burst – activate."
A shockwave exploded outward.
The monster's eyes widened.
Chen dashed in with Phantom Dash and slashed through Slaughterjaw's leg tendon with his claws.
Jia Ling gasped. "Chen…?"
"Stay down, teacher. I'll finish this."
