Azazel looked at her as he was amazed to see her "Your drunk off a half a glass. You are a lightweight." That didn't stop him from refilling the glass. And like clockwork, she drank it as soon as the glass was full. It quickly became less about him drinking and more about watching her drink.
"I'm no drunk. I'be been drinking eve with Odin when I was he guard. I spennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnt so much time trinking wif him. But all he said was rubbishhhh, ladies and boooooze and boobiesssss." Rossweisse was having a hard time speaking. "He kalled me his ssssservan girl. Screw him he paid poorly. He's reason why I have no boy boyfriend…. Boyfriend… boyfriend…" She may have only repeated it three times but it echoed in her brain as she started crying once again.
Azazel patted her on the back "Don't worry I'll listen to your complaints just let it out."
"Is she always like this?" Kiba asked Issei.
The girls remembered the last incident when she got drunk "She got drunk off cooking wine." Asia said as she was slightly embarrassed to say it.
"Mom had to lock up the alcohol because of that." Issei told Kiba as Rossweisse was spiraling downwards even further.
Azazel looked back over to the kids "You guys should leave soon. I'll deal with her."
Everybody was finished eating as they hurried up and paid to get out of the place. Before they left Issei looked at Azazel "Bread didn't work last time so uh have fun?" He said as he quickly left.
They made their way down the street to the Togetsukyo bridge. "Rossweisse sure made a scene." "Who knew she was such a poor drinker." Matsuda and Motohama spoke to each other. While it was unfortunate because she was quite popular among the boys and even with plenty of the girls. It was the long silver hair that set them off.
"Even though she looks so young she's had a rough life." Issei mentions "And it's not because of Azazel."
Kiryuu nodded as Kunou looked at Asia speaking softly "You servants have it tough?"
"A little." Asia answered her as it wasn't all too bad but some people had it worse off.
They stepped onto an old wooden bridge that crossed over a large river. Kiryuu and the perverts were in the front as everybody else was in the back. "They say that if you look back on the bridge the intelligence granted by the heavens will be taken away." Kiryuu looked over to Matsuda and Motohama "Leaving them dumber than rocks."
"Shut Up!" Motohama and Matsuda shouted at Kiryuu.
"I think that's all superstition," Kunou said as she watched the three of them yell at each other.
The sky darkened as the colors changed from a light blue to a dark purple in a matter of seconds as fog enveloped the area. Issei felt a twisting feeling deep in his body as all the tourists disappeared off the bridge including Kiryuu Motohama and Matsuda.
Everybody stood ready for whatever could happen. "This mist is the same as when I was taken by Diodora." Asia got close to Issei as she knew what could happen.
Kiba looked at this mist "So this is Dimension Lost, the name makes sense now."
"You okay?" A voice echoed from behind them as they turned around seeing Azazel flying in the sky towards them. When he landed he looked around making sure that everyone was together "Looks like we were forcefully transferred to this dimension and were sealed inside of it."
"Is this similar to the rating games fields?" Issei asked Azazel
"It looks like it, and that would mean somebody has leaked techniques of our factions. The fact that the user was able to replicate the area and forcefully transfer all of us here. All without any form of warnings is truly terrifying."
"We have three ways of escape." Issei said as they looked at him "As the caster real nicely to let us out, but that's not happening. Or we can kill the caster. And my favorite is to find the edge of the barrier and destroy it."
"Pleased to meet you Governor-General Azazel and the Red Dragon Emperor" They saw a young man who was slightly older than them dressed in a traditional Chinese outfit that dated from the Han period standing on top of a building. In his hand was a large spear that he had over his shoulder.
Azazel moved in front of them as he looked at the man "Are you the rumored Hero faction?"
The man tapped the spear on his shoulder as he answered Azazel's question "I am Cao Cao, the descendant of Cao Cao from the three kingdom area."
"Whatever you do, be careful of that spear, it's the True Longinus. It hasn't appeared in the world for a long time. But to think it's in the hands of terrorists."
Xenovia and Irina's eyes went wide hearing that. "So that's the spear that the Seraphim fear." Irina was trembling seeing it.
"We were told of the spear from the beginning. That spear pierced Jesus and even carried his blood." Xenovia said in a whisper.
Asia was in a semi-trance as she was staring at the spear. Azazel snapped his finger, snapping her out of the trance "Don't stare at it people of faith tend to lose their sanity with focusing on holy relics."
"You boy!" Kunou shouted at Cao Cao "I have questions for you."
He looked at the little girl. "The princess… what do you want to ask?"
"Are you the one who took my mother?"
"Yes, that was me." Cao Cao said without a care.
"What do you want with her?"
"She will be cooperating with us in our experiment."
"Experiment? What do you plan on using her for."
Cao Cao rolled his hand around "Our benefactor has a wish that needs to be granted."
"Ophis. That's your benefactor" Azazel pulled the rug out from under them.
"Well, there's no need to hide it. We can talk about it during the experiment. But for now, I wish to see how the two of you fare." He rolled the spear off his shoulders as he slammed the bottom into the ground.
Azazel formed a spear of light in his hand "Let's start with this. Please return the leader of Kyoto Yasaka."
While Azazel was ready for battle Issei pulled Ascalon out of his gauntlet and passed it off to Xenovia. As she caught the blade and was now ready for combat Irina had summoned a sword made of light just as Kiba crafted his sword as well.
A short boy who looked to be the age of a middle schooler at best appeared next to Cao Cao. "Leonardo let the devils have some fun with your monsters."
Hearing that a large shadow extended out from under his feet as out of the shadows climbed an army of large grotesque armored creatures. Out from under the black armor could only be seen was black skin that looked like something from a bad 50's movie.
Azazel saw the monsters kept climbing out "Annihilation maker."
Cao Cao laughed hearing that "Yes Leonardo here carries the Longinus. It's a different form of dangerous but still dangerous nonetheless."
"During the times most of the ancients don't talk about anymore there was a man named Xim. He tried to rule the world through the use of the Annihilation maker. Using the Longinus he was able to make massive fire breathing monsters that spanned over hundreds of feet. Tentacle creatures that made Lovecraft read like a bedtime story." Azazel reminisced about the days long past as he watched the monster climb out of the ground. "Annihilation maker is generally received as the worst of the Longinus due to that event. And before you ask yes the user is the weak point."
Cao Cao laughed as he heard that "To think you have Annihilation Maker all figured out. Leo here still hasn't matured as his designs are simple but he has something we call Anti Monsters." One of the monsters opened its mouth as a blast of energy came out as it shot into one of the nearby buildings. The building was gone as so was a good portion of the surroundings.
"So you were collecting data on the factions. But from the looks of have yet to create monsters strong enough to kill a god."
Cao Cao was surprised to hear that part of the rug was pulled out from under him once again "And are you sure of that?"
"If you would have created one by now you would have used it. There's no need to send monsters to the various factions and probe them if you already have a monster capable of killing a god. That and your little display proved it as I know what that Longinus can do.
Xenovia and Kiba ran forward towards the mass of monsters. "Kiba I need a blade of light."
"Right." He crafted a golden long sword with a blue grip as he passed it off to Xenovia.
Kiba darted off ahead of Xenovia as he started slashing away at the monsters. One swing was all it took as he was cutting through the monsters making them like butter. Xenovia was doing the same albeit at a slower pace as she cleaved the monsters in two. Dodging beams of light was easy enough for them as they were slower than expected. "Don't get hit and we should be fine." Kiba said plowing through the gauntlet.
"No, let's just kill them before they can fire." Xenovia kept hacking away.
Azazel reached into his coat pulling out a golden scepter with a purple orb on the top. "Cao Cao do you want to be defeated by me today?"
"To fight the Fallen Angel Governor would be a great honor." Cao Cao jumped down landing on the river banks. Once he landed the front of the spear opened up revealing a large blade on it. Azazel raised the specter as he was engulfed in a golden light now shrouded in gold armor with his 12 wings holding onto a golden trident.
The two of them clashed shaking the bridge as they were up in the air fighting. Issei looked around seeing what could be done.
[WELSH DRAGON BALANCE BREAKER!]
"Kiba can you make a sword that eats light?" Issei said as communication circles appeared on everybody's ears.
"You…. I see." Kiba was heard as blades flew up into the air as two of them landed in front of Issei. He pulled them out of the ground keeping one of them and passed one to Asia and kept the other one. "Transfer power into them when you need to use them."
"Xenovia Irina you two need to swap positions. I need Irina upfront as she can take a hit from light better than you can Xenovia. Also need to protect Asia and Kunou." "Right." Xenovia and Irina said as she sprouted a pair of white wings heading off towards the battle. Issei looked over towards Asia "I need you to promote me to Bishop."
"Okay!" She held out the badge as it shined.
Issei felt the shift and the rise in his demonic power. "Oh, this will do nicely." Issei lifted his left hand as an orb formed. "Dragon shot" The orb rocketed out of his hand faster than that ever. It tore through the army of monsters ripping a small streak in the ground as it passed by. The explosion rocked the area as a group of people were able to jump out of the way of the blast.
"Wow" Kunou was in awe as she saw the results of the blast.
"Isn't that too much power?" Asia asked as she knew his magic would be drained down if he used too many of that magnitude.
"I uh never boosted." Issei told her as in the distance a group of girls was swinging a variety of weapons.
"We will deal with the Red Dragon" The girls started charging towards Issei.
'Wait! Women can't win against him!" A white-haired man yelled out but it was too late.
Issei smacked his hands together as his hands glowed. "Tell me everything!" He yelled out.
The girls were engulfed in a white void as voices were heard. "Attack him at once, I'm going straight." "I'm going to attack his right." And the third girl was heard saying "I'll finish him out on the left side." Issei dodged all the attacks leaving the girls stunned. "How can he dodge our attacks like they are nothing."
The helmet collapsed as he smiled at the girls "Well ladies it's been fun. But I need to exploit your weakness to get back to the main event."
"What weaknesses are…." The one girl tried to ask as Issei shoved his hands forward creating a small blast of air as their clothes were ripped to shreds revealing their bodies.
Issei got a good look at the girls "The one all women share. Well except the exhibitionists." They quickly covered up any way possible. "Unless you want to reveal yourself to me you can't fight. Some say it's cruel but it's a sound plan for fighting the opposite gender."
"It is impossible for a female to win against this Red Dragon." A silver-haired man walked towards them "If you forgo your shame and have nerves of steel no women can win in combat. But the skills shown off here have no use against a man."
Issei waved his hand "I could use it on a man, but I don't want to see a man naked in combat.
The man looked back to the rest of his friends "High in strength and lacks talent. Yet he does not indulge in the power of the dragon. He is a dangerous foe, arrogance will lead to a careless victory."
Issei was flattered by the statements "How nice of you… my enemy of all people that's so kind."
"You and Vali are far more dangerous than you two realize." He stepped towards the group releasing a pair of swords off his belt. "I am Sig descendant of the Hero Siegfried."
Xenovia was looking at the blades in his hands "I knew I've seen you before."
"Yes that's him alright he's the traitor." Irina nodded confirming what Xenovia was thinking.
"Explanation please?" Issei didn't know what they were on, only that he looked somewhat familiar.
"He was an exorcist, a former colleague of Irina and mine. He was once one of the top warriors in the Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox churches. They called him Demonic Emperor Sig because of his white hair and the use of demonic swords."
"Sig betrayed the church and Heaven." Irina continued.
"Betrayal, changing sides, fighting for myself. Call it what you want."
"But why? Betraying the church will lead to eternal damnation!" Irina squeaked out.
Siegfried sighed hearing that "The church has plenty of strong warriors. I was never a candidate for joker anyway so what do you care? Enough of that the three of you are capable wielders of the blade so let's fight."
Kiba took the invitation as he disappeared only for the two of them already clashed blades. Sieg was holding up a large red sword blocking Kiba's blade as if it was nothing. "Demonic Sword Gram, one of the strongest demonic swords. Yet it blocked your Holy Demonic sword as if it was nothing."
Sparks were sent in all directions as the two of them went at it. Kiba's face was straining with each attack as they did little to nothing. Not only was Siegfried keeping up with Kiba's movement he was outpacing and defending all of his strikes. "That's not good." Issei stuck his hand down into a magic circle retrieving his hilt. "Xenovia!" He called out as he threw the hilt at her.
Xenovia laid down the light blade in favor of his divine blade. She squeezed the grip as the blade came out and she rushed towards Kiba striking at the other blade. Slamming down with both blades she looked at Kiba "You can't win alone."
"Don't forget about me!" Irina joined in on the fight as the three on one fight turned into a blur of sparks and clashing metal.
While the odds would normally be in their favor it was far from it. Siegfried was able to deflect four different swords with minimal effort as his sword rotated around blocking attacks as if it was connected to his mind. Kiba dashed away leaving faint traces of himself behind, as he got behind Siegfried and went for the strike the second blade made its block. "Balmung, Nothung"
Kiba ground his sword down slipping the blade down to Siegfried's abdomen slashing once again. His sword was once again met with another blade as it was blocking a lethal blow. Holding that sword up was a silver arm that protrudes out of his back. Siegfried laughed as he saw the look on their faces seeing the third arm. "Twice Critical is a dime a dozen but mine is slightly different." Kiba backed away getting ready for whatever was to come next. "And I'm not even in my balance breaker."
Eight words were enough to remind them that the Khaos Brigade was not to be trifled with. A rustling of feathers as the clanking of armor was heard that landed near Issei. Azazel had a few holes in his armor and his wings were a mess. As Cao Cao had his clothing tattered but behind them, large sections of the city were destroyed and in a mess. "Don't worry Issei we were just testing each other out." Azazel said as his wings retracted.
"I guess the servants of Rias Gremory are well known amongst the devils for a reason. We planned on fighting without exerting ourselves, but it looks like you proved us wrong." Cao Cao's neck cracking could be heard by everyone. "Yet bringing together a group of people who are this unnaturally strong is something that one you Hyoudo Issei could do." Cao Cao pointed his spear at him "Yet we don't intend to make the same mistakes as the Old Maou faction. We believe that you will be the most dangerous being of them all."
"What are your motives for the Hero Faction?" Azazel cut in before Issei could say anything.
"It's incredibly simple but if you're surprised by it I can't blame you. We just want to know the limits of what it means to be human and then we want to challenge it. Humans will be the ones who defeat devils, dragons, and all other supernatural races."
"You want to be heroes? Just like your ancestors?" Azazel mocked Cao Cao.
Cao Cao pointed towards the sky "It is merely a challenge presented to us by frail humans. How far can a human go, that is what we wish to know.'
"Then fight a Dragon King without the Longinus. Prove your power that humans are strong. But you can't do that, you know what would happen." Issei pointed out as Azazel interrupted.
"Don't bother… He is worse than Shalba Beelzebub. He's just as dangerous as Vali."
Between them, a golden magic circle appeared on the bridge out of it came a girl sitting on a broomstick. She had on a blue witch hat with a brown and blue school girl uniform as modest blonde locks were hanging out from under her hat. "Nice to meet you all. I am Le Fay, Le Fay Pendragon a mage working with Vali's team."
"Pendragon? Arthur Sister?" Azazel asked as he yet to see
Her broom spun around in a circle "Yes Arthur is my older brother." She said with a smile.
"A Descendant of Morgana Le Fay? Let alone related to the pendragon family. Guess you learn something new every day." Issei was told of the legends but it turns out some things aren't always as they are written.
"Yes, Morgana Le Fay and Arthur Pendragon were related." Azazel scratched his chin "Nothing new for you tho."
Le Fay had sparkles in her eyes that could rival Serafall as her broomstick floated over towards Issei. "Ummmmm…." She held her hand out "I'm a huge fan of Oppai Dragon show! If you're not too busy can I shake your hand?"
Issei was somewhat at a loss as this girl came out of nowhere and wanted a handshake even though there were fights. He shook her hand "Thanks…" still at a loss for what was going on.
Le Fay was giddy as could be as if she could be as he acted like she met one of her life long heroes. Cao Cao and his company were just as confused. Trying to wrap their brains around what just happened he spoke out "So what does Vali's side want."
"Oh yes." She turned towards Cao Cao "I came to bring a message from Vali." She cleared her voice as she tried to imitate Vali as best she could " I thought I told you not to disturb me. That's his message." Cao Cao was still confused as he heard it "That and you need to be punished for trying to put us under surveillance."
The dimension shook as if they experienced a massive earthquake. Most of the people were having a hard time standing up as out of the water rose a massive robot. It let out a roar that shook everything as Le Fey flew up towards it as it had to be over 30 feet tall. Le Fey pointed at Cao Cao as it roared once again slamming its arms down to Cao Cao. The bridge shattered as everybody jumped away only to land on floating parts of the bridge that could still support their weight.
"IT'S A MEGADEUS!" Issei shouted, surprised to see something like that.
"No, it's a Gogmagog." Azazel yelled out surprised to even be seeing one
Le Fay giggled as she was swinging her feet back and forth "This is one of the strongest members on our team. He's a Gogmagog but I like to call him Gogz"
"Gogmagog was a weapon of mass destruction used long before sacred gears. They were deactivated and thrown into the dimensional gap. To think that you found one let alone reactivated it." Azazel was staring at the weapon as a kid in the candy store.
The golem raised its arms back up as it roared out again. "Getting tired of this." Cao Cao pointed his spear at the arm of the golem as the shaft stretched out firing towards the golem. The blade neared the golem's arm as it was about to swing as the blade sliced through rocky skin the golem had severed the arm off.
As the arm fell Gogmagog let out a roar of pain while the arm crashed into the water sending water everywhere. Off in the distance, a person was having a hard time walking as they were hunched over like a zombie. "Hey!" A female voice yelled out "Itshhhsshsh ssssssssssssssooo nnnnoissyyyyyeyeyas people cant ssssssssssleep." Rossweisse was stumbling around extremely drunk and angry. She saw that members of the hero faction standing there looking at her as they were puzzled not having any idea who this woman was. "You wanna fight? I shhhhoowwww you the poweerrrrrrrrrrrrrr of a valkrieeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Rossweisse yelled out as above her formed an over twenty magic circles "Tasteeee my Norsssssssssssh magicksks." All different colors and sizes of attacks came out of the magic circles. The volume of attacks rained down on the Hero Faction like a rainstorm of lasers as every form of the elements crashed down. The elements rained down vaporizing the shops in the area leaving a massive crater where she was attacking.
The smoke cleared from the crater as a mist was surrounding them with Cao Cao in the middle. "There are too many interruptions. It was a fun starting point, Governor Azazel. Come to Nijou Castle tonight where we will be conducting our experiment."
The mist started to retract back where the Hero faction was "Put your weapons away! Were being returned to normal space." In a matter of seconds, Issei's armor disappeared and swords were stashed away. One blink later everybody was standing where they were before they were taken into the mist as Matsuda was looking at Issei. "Ise you okay? You look super scary right now giving me the creeps.
Issei shook his head "Deja vu I've just been in this place before.
